On the other side, the Hero swiftly entangled a rabbit completely, ready to crush it with force.

But he didn’t feel the sensation of flesh disintegrating within the coiling serpent body; it was like squeezing a Water Ball or a balloon.

With a snap, countless golden and blue light spots pierced through the tenacious body of the Green Snake, then reassembled in the air into a panicked four-legged Elf Rabbit.

And only a few hard gemstones were left in the embrace of the Hero.

Like water poured into a river, the Elf Rabbits didn’t get injured from the collision but smoothly and effortlessly vanished into the tree, leaving the Hero baffled.

…How could it disappear?

Intrigued, she slithered over to the tree, wrapping herself around it in puzzlement.

The acute Perception of the Green Snake could even detect several insects inside the tree trunk, but there was no trace of any Elf Rabbits.

The Gleaming Scale serpent also struck and bit in quick succession, attacking an Elf Rabbit with a speed that didn’t fall short of the Hero’s,

but its power was far less than the Green Snake’s, barely causing the Elf Rabbit to symbolically drop a single gemstone, then, like diving, the rabbit hopped in place, disappearing into the ground after landing.

Seeing its meager spoils of war, Gleaming Scale felt a renewed sense of the Queen’s power, far beyond its reach, and reported back to the Queen coiled around the tree, dejected yet respectful.

The Guards’ second volley of shots was all successful; the little rabbits penetrated by arrows scattered and fled, either diving on the spot or crashing into trees, immediately vanishing, leaving only the glowing gemstones on the fallen leaves.

Perhaps for the first time since its creation, this forest had so many gemstones plucked away.

The Elf Rabbits had completely vanished, all within less than twenty seconds.

The Guards all put down their bows, staring somewhat dumbfounded at this scene, still somewhat in disbelief that they had achieved their goal so easily.

“Hiss hiss hiss——”

Looking at the Brilliant gemstones scattered all over the forest, the Hero joyously exclaimed.
