Girl Hero: Revenge on Goblins! -
Chapter 45 - 45 D17
45: D17.
Sword Flash_2 45: D17.
Sword Flash_2 Facing the unknown magic creatures, the Hero couldn’t help feeling a bit nervous.
But if she turned into a snake, she was not confident in coordinating well with the Guards.
“Of course, even in the army, there are such rules,” Guard B nodded.
“- If there’s a Hero in the team, go assist them; a Hero who survives the fight will become stronger.”
“Then I understand, I’ll do my best,” the Hero replied earnestly.
“However, it’s quite rare to see a Hero as composed as you; maybe you’ll become a great figure someday,” Guard A laughed.
It’s just because the things I hate are too insignificant, too common.
The Hero did not respond, just shook her head.
“Get ready, here they come.” Guard C, who had been silently on alert, drew his Longbow.
Suddenly, silence fell in the woods, with only the rustling of leaves in the breeze.
The first batch of magic creatures, lured by the Magic Potion, was drawing near.

[Group Battle Mechanics]
Group battles will be conducted with the Hero at the core, while companions participate as a bonus.
Before each battle, the Hero will make a ‘coordination’ roll, with the number determined by both parties’ Intelligence.
Based on the coordination number, the companion’s bonus is determined, and corresponding actions are taken.
Such as covering defense, joint attacks, Block Counterattacks, etc.
With Intelligence below 10, coordination cannot be made.
In group battles, the Hero will earn 1/2 of the Experience.

A strange stench drifted from the woods, accompanied by the distant and excited noises of monsters.
“It’s those guys.”
The Guards who had often seen them on the Border all showed a look of disgust.
But the Hero had already darted out first, with the fallen leaves swirling beneath her feet.
She was already all too familiar with these first batch of creatures that had come at the smell.
— It’s Goblins!
The young girl’s eyebrows shot up as she charged at the lowly green-skins with her Longsword dragging behind her.
[Target Goblins, the first round of coordination automatically fails.]
“Hey!
Don’t rush too fast!” Startled by the Hero’s lone charge, several Guards hurriedly followed.
“She really is a Hero, getting excited at the sight of magic creatures,” Guard A, who was following closely, could not help but comment as Guard B, watching the Hero’s back, shook his head in resignation.
“Let’s hurry and catch up; it should be okay for now with the Goblins.”

In this secluded forest far away from human habitation, a small bustling tide of greenery surged forward as if no one else existed.
The forest’s original tranquility was shattered by the noisy cries of the magic creatures, the pungent smell seemingly caused the nearby sparse green leaves to wither on the spot.
The loathsome goblins, led by their strong leader, advanced towards the direction of an enticing scent.
The leading Big Goblin towered tall, requiring heroes to look up to meet its gaze, and in its hand, it wielded a coarsely tapered stick, the thickest part of the stick undoubtedly exceeding the girth of an adult’s waist, marred with dark stains of dried blood.
Merely imagining the consequence of being struck by such hardwood instilled fear in those who beheld it.
Coupled with the Big Goblin’s hefty musculature, the strength of this magic creature was unquestionably formidable.
However, to the surprise of the green-skins, a sword-wielding girl suddenly burst out of the woods, showing no fear of the malicious fiend.
A flame of hatred burned in her eyes as she tightly grasped her longsword, dragging it behind her back as she charged towards the Big Goblin with a No Precedent posture.
“Meet your death——!”

Nonetheless, despite the sprinting hero’s fiery momentum, her straight and slender legs did not move through the forest as agilely as one would expect.
In reality, the hero could barely lift the longsword in her hand, and was completely clueless about swordsmanship.
Executing a charging slash might sound simple, but to run across unfamiliar terrain and unleash a perfect, lethal arc of the blade while sprinting was not as easy as a layman might think.
The girl’s action was more akin to rashly charging in front of the goblin and swinging her sword like a stick.
And yet, in those brief seconds of her charge, the Big Goblin had enough time to sense the danger.

[Big Goblin’s Block Extreme Failure!]
The Big Goblin, having realized the threat, immediately raised its hefty stick.
It planned to block this attack and then crush the daring human to death.
This unevenly surfaced stick had accompanied it for countless years—though a goblin’s life expectancy wasn’t long, to it, that was a lengthy half of its life.
Forged from the hardest wood within the forest, this stick had bashed countless lives throughout its existence.
The Big Goblin employed it to beat wild boars, wolf packs, venomous snakes, and its weaker kin that displeased it, naturally ascending to tribe leadership.
Yet what it enjoyed the most was using it to beat the occasional humans that passed through the woods.
Breaking their bones, flattening their skulls—if they screamed and ran, it would crush their legs to enforce a crawling escape; if they knelt and begged, it would smash their spines to see them writhing in their final breath.
However, if the victim was female, it couldn’t be so violent.
Although a female with broken bones had its unique allure, they tended to become unresponsive too quickly, and then decompose within a few days.
Thus, throughout its life, the Big Goblin had learned the concept of cherishing the gentler sex and the meaning of mercy.
But as it was about to Counterattack, it was met with those emerald green pupils.
How beautiful——
Goblins usually lacked any sense of aesthetics, but the Big Goblin knew that it had never seen such strikingly beautiful green in its life in the forest.
So white, so tender, so beautiful——so desirable!!!
Furthermore, judging by her soft and flimsy charging posture, she did not exhibit the aura of a strong opponent.
The Big Goblin’s excessively sharp Reflex caught sight of the girl’s Posture, and desire instantly surged into its pitifully small mind.
It must not harm her; absolutely must not injure such a beautiful female.
Then, the Big Goblin relaxed all the strength in its body.
Throughout its sinful life, it had never been so lax, overly cautious not to harm even a single hair on the female before it.
Subsequently, the hero swung her sword.
As she reached the Big Goblin, what seemed to be a clumsy charge transformed in an instant, after a brief pause, into maturity, replacing it with a fluid movement that concentrated her entire body and soul into a single strike.
[Hero activates Skill: Sacrifice (Armor Break +12)]

She planted her feet firmly on the ground, twisted her waist, swung her arms, rotated her wrists—all of her Strength stacked together, creating an incredible burst of power in a fleeting moment.
The longsword whistled through the air, leaving a shimmering afterimage on the Big Goblin’s retina, slicing through its prized stick as though it were a mere twig.
The Slashing attack then continued inexorably across the Big Goblin’s neck.
Its gentle eyes instantly lost their light.
The Big Goblin’s head slid off diagonally, almost simultaneously hitting the leaf-strewn ground with the tip of the stick.
[Big Goblin takes fatal damage]
[Big Goblin’s death]
Then the foul green blood gushed from its neck like a fountain.
——Murder.
The hero paid no heed to the filth splattered on her, nor did she spare another glance at the fallen Big Goblin.
Her eyes, cold as a serpent’s, locked onto the remaining dozens of goblins.
She readied her longsword.
