Chapter 76: First Rank Limit-breaker(Part-2)
Even when the potion was in the bottle, it emitted a powerful energy that made every cell in his body go wild, wanting to swallow it immediately.
Apollo didn’t waste a moment and opened the bottle.
Boom!
An explosion of dense energy happened as he opened the bottle, which shook every one of them.
"What kind of potion is this? And where did he get them?"
Old Man Aragon couldn’t help but ask, looking at Master Aaron, who was also surprised by the cards shown by his apprentice.
These potions weren’t ordinary; they couldn’t be bought outside. However, considering survival in the depths of the ruins alone, it’s possible he acquired these powerful potions from there.
When he first encountered Apollo, he could discern something about him, but as time passed, he found it increasingly challenging to see through Apollo’s enigmatic demeanour, especially after the latter emerged from the ruins, shrouded in even more mystery.
Apollo didn’t notice the weird emotions of his master or others; his mind was only focused on the potion ahead of him.
"Gulp! Gulp!"
He downed all the potion in a single breath, and instantly, a burst of energy surged through his body like a tsunami, overwhelming him with waves of powerful energy.
Immediately, every cell in his body, hungry for energy, became active and vigorously began devouring the endless waves of energy at an unbelievably fast rate.
He felt his power increasing rapidly as the hungry cells devoured energy and continued to evolve and become stronger.
But that’s not the end, as his spirit and life force were also going through an unimaginable transformation.
They seemed to have touched a mysterious higher state that he couldn’t describe, but he was sure that it would bring incredible changes in his strength.
The tsunami of energy continued to flood his body as he kept swallowing it all, and the process of life evolution appeared to accelerate due to the immense influx of energy.
The previous slow transformation has become faster many times, so much so that the evolution that required a day before can be done within half an hour.
His aura was increasing rapidly, and his temperature continued to decrease, but he didn’t seem to care as he was lost within his increasing power.
Master Aaron and Old Man Aragon felt the aura of Apollo had already surpassed first-rank limit-breakers by a large margin and had reached second-rank limit-breakers.
But it wasn’t the end, as the transformation was going on, and the aura was still climbing higher, becoming stronger every second.
Boom! Boom!
As Apollo continues, the traitor Niara, accompanied by the young, handsome man and a few others, approaches the tunnel where he is breaking through.
"Weird, why did all the energy in the surroundings seem to be gathering at this tunnel?"
The young guy said it because he felt weird. And not only that, the curse mark seems to indicate Ragnar is also there.
"Sir, Is something wrong?" One of the subordinates asked, seeing him thinking.
"Nothing; get ready. Ragnar is in that tunnel; don’t let him run away."
As he ordered, the group became ready and slowly went into the tunnel.
But as they went deeper, they felt weird, like something wasn’t right, but they didn’t see anything; it was a plain, dark tunnel.
"Where is he?" The young leader felt confused. According to the curse mark, Ragnar should be nearby, but he couldn’t spot anyone or anything in the tunnel.
Everything felt weird and perplexing. And what about the situation with such a dense amount of cold ice energy in this tunnel?
They all sensed the temperature plummeting; even for a tunnel under a Frostheld city, this place was much colder than expected.
From within the secret hiding room, they had a clear view outside, thanks to the special runic formation.
Old Man Aragon and the others had already noticed the arrival of the unknown group, but they refrained from immediately activating the trap since the enemies were still at the edge of the tunnel.
They waited for them to venture deeper into the tunnel before activating the traps, ensuring a perfect outcome and leaving them with no chance to escape alive.
Ragnar already told them about the bit*h, and even though he was ashamed, he still told them the truth, which made Old Man Aragon and Master Aaron feel better about him.
They all, from the secret place, glanced at the young guy, who seemed to be targeting Ragnar and felt the extraordinariness of the enemy.
"Hmm!"
The young leader felt a sense of unease as if someone were watching him, yet he couldn’t seem to find anyone or anything nearby.
He felt a bit anxious; he didn’t notice any sign of Ragnar, but the Curse Mark was still indicating his place.
Did he find a way to remove the curse mark? But it is impossible to remove even for sages in a few minutes.
He felt the situation was becoming more and more weird, and everything was going out of his control. Ragnar was supposed to be in his palm, but now he cannot find him.
As he was thinking about it, Old Man Aragon’s eyes glowed with fierce light and a little bit of excitement.
"Activate!"
He inserted the tiny key into the runic formation, triggering all the traps set in place.
Boom! Bang!
The entire tunnel trembled, and walls emerged on both sides, sealing off any escape route and completely enclosing their location.
"What is happening?" The group could not understand what was happening right now or why suddenly walls appeared and trapped them there.
Traitor Niara’s face changed, and she quickly came close to the young leader of this group to remain safe.
As for the young leader, he himself was a little panicked, as there wasn’t anything mentioned in the information about such a place in the underground tunnels.
His name is Vlad, and he was the ninth-ranked ’God Son’ of the Dark Heaven’s Court.
For decades, he meticulously crafted his plan upon discovering the location of the Dark King’s Crown within the City Hall Mansion.
He kept most details of his scheme to himself, never disclosing them to the elders of the court, driven by his desire to personally seize the Crown and harness its secret power.
But now, suddenly, troubles are coming, and his plan cannot keep up with the changes.
"Calm down; don’t be afraid; be alert. With me here, you will be safe."
Vlad assured his subordinates and looked carefully at the place.
"Go, attack the wall, and see if you can forcefully break it."
He ordered one of his subordinates with the largest and most sturdy body, who nodded, came to the wall, and attacked.
The guy burst out with the power aura of a third-rank limit-breaker and drew his weapon, which was a mighty and large axe.
He gave up a powerful aura that could tear down beasts with a single axe strike. And now he tries to do the same.
The axe glowed with a fierce aura as he tightened his muscles and slashed the wall, trapping them.
But it didn’t do anything except create some sparks. There wasn’t even a single tent on the metal walls.
This changed their expression, whereas Old Man Aragon was feeling proud.
"My master collects various rare materials from all over the world; even if it had a small amount of that in those walls, it was not something easy to destroy."
Old Man laughed, looking at the pitiful guys who were trying to destroy those walls.
But suddenly, they felt fluctuations in Apollo’s aura, as it seemed the life evolution was coming to an end.
"It seems to be faster than expected."
Apollo was surprised, as he felt the transformation was nearing its end and he would become a true limit-breaker at the young age of twelve.
It seems he has underestimated the energy contained in the gene-stabilizing potion.
The energy in it was so massive that in just fifteen minutes, he completed the entire evolution of life.
His life aura underwent a transformation, with his hair slowly lengthening and changing colour as he underwent a profound metamorphosis. He emerged as someone entirely different, exuding a soul-chilling, cold aura of immense power.
Bang! Bang!..
His heart was beating faster as, finally, he fully broke the first limit of his life.
Boom!
Apollo’s fluctuating aura stopped, and he opened his blue-crystal-clear eyes with his silvery white hair.
"You did it."
Master Aaron and Old Man both felt shocked and happy to see that he had done it.
"Yes."
Apollo smiled as he had broken through his first limit and taken his first step towards transcendence.
He experienced an unimaginable surge of power, reminiscent of the strength he felt during his half-demon god transformation. However, this time was different, and now he didn’t need to resort to an inhuman form for strength.
Now, he believed he could directly face the group from the battle arena that had almost killed him without the need to rely on his second form, confident that he could effortlessly destroy them.
He immediately opened his system panel to check on his new stats.
