Chapter 65: A Box

"Damm!"

He couldn’t help but feel surprised at how ahead of their time those alchemist masters of old were, and he could also understand why others were afraid of them.

The things they created were so good for people at that time that powerful, high-standing guys should have started to feel afraid.

Apollo stopped thinking about that and looked at the pictures that were showing.

He looked and found somebody had entered the store, but the person seemed to be alone and seriously injured.

The guy seems young, with black hair, a strong jawline, and well-defined facial features. It actually didn’t look like he came to do any harm.

"Hello, somebody here, hello."

He quickly yelled to find the owner of the shop and deliver the item his father told him to.

"Master Aragon, are you inside? My father sent me here."

Apollo, from within the training hall, saw and heard what the guy did, but when he heard that this person came for old man Aragon, he was surprised. As it seems, he isn’t the enemy.

But he didn’t go outside but instead sent an alchemy puppet outside to talk with the person.

At first, the guy felt panicked seeing nobody coming out, but it was very important to deliver this item to the shop owner.

So, he was not going to leave without being sure and was thinking of going inside to check.

But suddenly, he heard footsteps that seemed to be coming toward him from inside the store.

"Someone..."

But instead of a person, he saw a red-eyed puppet, which made him vigilant.

From the puppet, a voice came.

"Who are you, and why do you want to meet Master Aragon?"

Apollo, sitting in the underground training hall, looking at the pictures, was speaking through the puppet.

He was a little surprised to see an alchemy puppet first, but he immediately calmed down, as it wasn’t the first time he had seen something like this as a respected young lord of the city hall mansion.

"I am Ragnar Langenberg, a young lord from the city hall mansion. My father, Sigrid Langenberg, sent me here to deliver something."

"So, can I meet with Master Aragon and give the item personally?"

Hearing the answer and knowing the true identity of this person, he felt surprised. The young lord of the city personally came here to deliver something given to him by the city lord himself.

It seems Old Man Aragon has some big connections throughout the city. Even the young lord seems to have fought a tough battle. It seems the outside situation is grave.

He had to come running here in such a wounded condition.

"Master Aragon isn’t in the shop; if you want to meet him, you can only wait, as I don’t know when he will return."

Truthfully, he didn’t want him to wait here, as who knows if somebody is following him?

His arrival has already put this place at risk. But he cannot throw the guy outside, not only for his noble background but also because he seems to have something to do with Old Man Aragon.

So, it would be better if he left on his own, and that would be best.

On the other side, young Lord Ragnar seems to be in a difficult situation.

He had to give the item to Master Aragon quickly, as he did not have time to wait. The enemies from whom he ran might catch up with him.

After seeing the struggling expression on his face, Apollo finally said something.

"If you want, you can leave the item you wanted to give here; when Master Aragon returns, I will give that to him."

Hearing the words, Ragnar felt relieved, but he didn’t fully believe the person he could not even see directly.

Apollo felt his concerns and said, "You know, I am controlling all the alchemy puppets in the store, and the only person who can do it is Master Aragon or someone he instructed himself."

"As all those alchemy creations had a very strong security measure when it came to their tools and devices,"

"And since Master Aragon believed in me, he gave me access to the alchemy puppets, which means I am a trustworthy person."

"Now, your only choice is to leave behind whatever you brought here with me."

After this, he didn’t say anything more and waited in silence. And he even goes to such trouble only because it might be important for Old Man Aragon; otherwise, he wouldn’t care a sh*t about it.

Young Lord Ragnar, after contemplating, made his final decision.

He took something from the space storage ring.

It was an old box sealed with weird runic symbols.

"Please give it to Master Aragon the moment he comes back."

"It is very important."

After saying this, he placed the box in the alchemy puppet’s hands and was ready to leave with his tired, wounded body.

"Wait! Wait a moment."

Apollo stopped him, opened the system shop, and bought a bit of an expensive healing potion with forty creation points, not knowing exactly how effective it would be.

But he felt bad for the guy and decided to give him a healing potion anyway, maybe so his subconscious mind didn’t feel bad for helping more.

Zoom!

After buying the potion, it immediately appeared in front of him.

The potion was in a small, crystal-clear bottle and, surprisingly, was crimson red, which was a bit different from most ordinary healing potions.

"Go quickly; give this to him."

He commanded another alchemy puppet and let it deliver the potion to Ragnar.

It quickly came out and gave the potion to the young lord Ragnar.

"Take this healing potion; it should help you heal most of your wounds."

He felt a little weird about the unusual colour of the healing potion, but he didn’t think much and drank it as his condition was quite bad, and he could use less than 5% of his strength.
