Chapter 377: Birthday Banquet (Part-3)
Time passed quickly as the power clans and secretive forces of the western continent appeared in the capital of the Sacred Element Empire, transforming it into a city of dazzling brilliance. The capital shimmered like a sky full of radiant stars, its grandeur elevated by the arrival of these influential titans.
Strong and powerful with immense authority started to gather in the imperial banquet hall.
The grand imperial banquet hall, adorned with countless elemental crystals and draped in shimmering banners representing the five sacred elements, gradually filled with these extraordinary guests.
The air was thick with subtle tension, veiled ambition, and an undercurrent of unspoken competition.
One after another, great lords from various factions entered the venue with an announcement, shocking the guests, as seeing so many powerful figures at the same time didn’t happen for thousands of years.
Even the hidden ancient races calmly entered the banquet hall. Although they didn’t directly announce their appearance, since they calmly entered the banquet hall, it means they were clearly invited.
Some time later, Apollo and his guardian quietly arrived at the grand banquet hall.
He had intended to enter without attracting much attention, to blend into the sea of powerhouses gathered here. Unfortunately, it was no longer possible.
His meeting with the emperor the previous day had already spread among the influential circles of the capital. The news had travelled fast—two mysterious experts from the Eastern Continent, personally welcomed by Emperor Darius.
And although the thing about the gravity tower is well hidden, still the meeting with the emperor alone was enough to pique their interest.
Even if Apollo wished to remain low-key, the sharp eyes within the hall were already watching him. Some bore curiosity, others suspicion, and a few... thinly veiled hostility.
As he stepped into the hall, several conversations paused momentarily, gazes subtly shifting toward him. Some quickly looked away, while others continued to observe him with interest. His arrival was not publicly announced like the others, but his presence had already been marked.
’So much for staying quiet,’ Apollo thought, his lips curving into a faint, knowing smile as he calmly walked forward, completely unbothered by the attention.
His sharp spiritual power silently scanned the entire hall and felt the many unique and peculiar energies of various guests, especially those from the ancient secret realm.
There were a few who had concealed their auras with extreme skill, but to him, their disguises were as thin as paper.
The strength of everybody here also wasn’t weak; saints and half-gods were numerous, and even quite a lot were in the Void God realm. Seeing all of this, he couldn’t help but sigh; it seems he underestimated the western continent; no, rather, he has shallow knowledge of Rion.
Before he was weak, so he didn’t think much, but it seemed whether it was eastern or western or the other continent on Rion, the hidden strength of his home world is extraordinary.
But now that his eyes had been opened by his travels across the vast universe, the contrast was undeniable.
From what he understood, most small worlds, even the stable ones, would be fortunate to have a handful of Void Gods in total—maybe a few dozen across the entire world. And while Rion was technically categorised as a larger "small world" with its five massive continents and endless seas, its hidden strength was astonishing.
Here, just in this banquet, there are already more than thirty void gods present, not to mention many were still coming in.
It made him wonder: just how deep did the roots of Rion’s hidden forces run?
What recent changes that took place had stirred this strength to the surface, or had this dormant power always existed, silently waiting for the right time to begin?
The guests continued to arrive, and finally, the emperor and the youngest princess, Diana, arrived.
The grand banquet hall quieted as the resounding announcement echoed through the chamber.
"All rise for His Majesty, Emperor Darius of the Sacred Elements Empire, and Her Highness, Princess Diana."
The gathered guests, no matter their status, turned respectfully toward the grand entrance. The wide double doors opened slowly, and Emperor Darius entered, his imperial robes shimmering with the intertwined symbols of the five elements. His aura, calm and composed, was as vast as the sea and as immovable as a mountain.
Walking beside him was the focus of the evening—Princess Diana.
She was young, her beauty radiant, but what caught most of the guests’ attention was not just her graceful appearance but the refined nobility in her posture and the faint traces of extraordinary elemental affinity swirling gently around her. Her aura was hidden, but it was clear she possessed a powerful bloodline and great potential.
"Today is a day of joy and unity," Emperor Darius’s steady voice filled the hall. "I am grateful to all who have gathered here from far and wide, across continents and seas, to celebrate the coming-of-age of my youngest daughter, Diana."
The crowd respectfully applauded.
Apollo watched from his seat, his expression calm, but his sharp senses noticed subtle glances exchanged among the ancient races, the hidden forces.
Not only was he a bit surprised by the princess, as she wasn’t simple. Although she was a treasure that could hide her strength, it could not stop him. She was only eighteen, yet her strength already reached the peak of the saint realm.
But that wasn’t all.
There was a faint, mysterious power deep within her bloodline—something ancient, noble, and immensely powerful. The traces of that power didn’t belong to the emperor’s void god lineage. No, the energy came from something far higher.
’This power... at least from an Eternal God, maybe something even stronger.’
His curiosity deepened.
’Who is her mother?’
Emperor Darius’s strength alone couldn’t explain this. The princess’s hidden bloodline and cultivation speed hinted at secrets buried deep within the empire’s history—secrets that, perhaps, few in this hall even knew.
When Apollo was looking at her with interest, the princess suddenly felt something and looked back towards him, surprising him a bit.
"She noticed me?"
But at that time he was the only one that was surprised.
"Ancestor, are you sure you felt the mysterious person peeping was him?"
