Chapter 359: Changes In Rion (Part-2)

Leon took a sip, exhaled, then looked at Apollo with genuine curiosity. "To think... the young boy I met in Hunter City would one day make the entire Eastern Continent tremble.

"I only returned home," Apollo said simply, but his presence, calm and absolute, carried a weight words couldn’t match.

Leon smiled wryly. "Well, your ’homecoming’ has stirred the entire eastern continent like a divine calamity. Especially knowing you have brought very powerful subordinates. Half the court’s been scrambling. The nobles want to know what it means. The ministers want to send you gifts. The queen mother even suggested offering a princess."

Apollo nearly choked on his tea.

Leon grinned. "Kidding. Mostly."

They both laughed, and the air between them relaxed. Then Apollo’s expression turned more serious.

"Tell me, Leon... What’s happened in Rrioweth and the Eastern Continent since I left?"

The moment he entered, he felt a subtle change in the laws of the world, which he could not tell exactly what it was, so he wanted to know if anything special happened after he left.

Leon placed his cup down gently. "A lot. The world didn’t stay quiet after you left. You were gone only a few years, but quite a lot of things were changed."

He looked up, eyes sharp now. "Three major events shook the continent."

Apollo nodded slowly, listening.

"First", Leon began, "after you left just a year later, numerous ruins started to appear. Every ruin was different and filled with extraordinary treasures and natural treasures. Some treasures were something that even void gods fight for."

"Ahh." Hearing this, he felt a bit surprised as to why suddenly ruins started to appear on the eastern continent.

Leon continued, "Secondly, ancient races that were supposed to be extinct also started to appear with time. Many small special worlds appeared which weren’t like ruins; instead, they had ancient races surviving and living in them."

"The strength of the ancient race also is terrifying, as many Void gods appeared within them, and even there are rumours that there are more terrifying gods hidden in these ancient races, but they, for some reason, cannot appear."

Apollo’s eyes darkened slightly as he heard Leon’s words. His fingers, still holding the teacup, paused mid-motion.

"Ruins... and now ancient races?" His voice echoed quietly, as though committing the details to the depth of his soul. "And the third?"

Leon gave a slow nod, as though preparing Apollo for the most important part.

"The third is the most important one, as for some mysterious reason the five continents seemed to have become connected to each other."

"When that happened, the entire eastern continent, or to be the whole Rion, trembled, and many were terrified, as it was like the end of the world. But later the land changed, and even the mysterious Necros continent also appeared."

"Now the four continents are at four corners, while at the centre of it is the Necros continent."

Apollo’s pupils contracted ever so slightly. A chill, subtle but undeniable, crept through the air.

"The continents... connected?"

Leon nodded solemnly, his earlier smile long gone.

"Yes. No one knows exactly how it happened. It wasn’t through space travel or teleportation—it was as if the very foundations of the world were rearranged. The continents didn’t move. The world itself changed. Some say... it returned to its original form."

A long silence followed.

Leon continued with a hushed voice.

"The Necros Continent... Many even didn’t believe it even existed. But after the reshaping, it appeared at the centre, like a heart pulsing between the other four. It’s filled with deadlands, shadow valleys, and spectral energy."

"But even though it seems to be dead lands, the creatures on it not only seemed numerous, but they also have very strong beings."

"When it just appeared, countless creatures rushed out of it, but thankfully the four continents joined forces and suppressed that; otherwise, the eastern continent, or rather the entire Rion, would be messed up."

He placed his teacup down without a sound. The quiet gesture made Leon feel more pressure than any outburst would have.

Hearing he lost in thoughts, as he didn’t expect so many things to happen after he left Rion. He might have to go to the Necros continent, as he had a feeling that place held something important to him.

Apollo’s gaze was distant, but within it stirred a deep, ancient resonance—as though a memory he had never lived was trying to awaken.

"A world rearranged... the forgotten heart of the continent revealed..."

He whispered more to himself than to Leon.

"Alright, it looks like many things happened; I had to visit quite a lot of places." He murmured with a smile.

"Hmm, brother, but you had to be careful; now there are many unknown dangers on Rion. Especially if you are going to the Necros continent."

"No one can fully enter the Necros Continent right now," he said, leaning slightly forward. "Even after joining forces, the four continents have only barely managed to establish forward bases along the outer edges."

"Any attempt to go deeper fails. The fog inside swallows even Void Gods whole." He said with a grave expression that even though he knows Apollo wasn’t like before and is very strong and guarded, he still believed it wouldn’t reach Void god level.

As if anyone would believe that a first-rank limit breaker would reach void god rank in a decade.

Apollo didn’t reply immediately. His gaze remained fixed on the eastern horizon where Necros lay—shrouded in fog, mystery, and perhaps fate itself.

Leon’s words were sincere, heavy with concern. But to Apollo, they sounded like echoes from a world he had already left behind.

He finally turned to Leon, expression calm yet unreadable.

"I understand, Leon. Your warning is valid. And I’m grateful."

He smiled faintly. "But the fog that swallows Void Gods... doesn’t concern me."

Now his body is so strong that, not to mention void god-level attacks, even true god-level deadly attacks cannot hurt even a single hair of his. So why could he care about something that can be barely dangerous for void gods?
