Chapter 342: Valley of Creation

Chapter 342: Valley of Creation

Even the Eternal Sword Rule within him had changed. Not only did it reach the peak of the first layer, but it also seemed to have become more mysterious and ethereal.

His internal world also expanded dozens of times and was already as big as a hundred thousand kilometres wide, which was comparable to some middle-stage eternal gods.

"I’ve walked a path few dared to imagine," he thought, gazing up at the stars.

"And yet, I feel like I’ve only reached the foot of a far greater mountain."

His gaze lowered to the distant horizon, where unknown realms stirred.

He knew the universe was vast—unimaginably vast. Beyond his world, beyond even the Three Universes... there were other dominions, older than time, where monstrous beings and fallen gods slumbered.

And he wasn’t the only one growing. He believes there is still a lot to know and understand; he just was starting.

These three months, although he didn’t face opponents who were as strong and tricky as Vael, he still experienced the various strengths of different races. It increased his experience, not to mention this land is filled with treasures, which is also why he was able to break through quickly.

Otherwise, the amount of energy needed for his breakthrough would have taken a few years.

But during these three months, in addition to finding treasure to improve their strength, they also gathered quite a lot of information about the place they were in.

From the information gathered from inhabitants of the Primordial Sanctum, the entire sanctum is divided into four sections according to the strength of beings who were suppressed here. The section they currently was the weakest section, where the monsters’ strength has been suppressed to true gods and below.

Hence, even in these three months, they never met someone whose strength can reach eternal god level. Outside they might be stronger, but after being suppressed here, they can just reach true god level.

His thoughts stretched outward like blades slicing through fog. The very concept made his spiritual core tighten.

The second section allowed strength up to Low Eternal God.

The Third, up to High Eternal God.

And the Fourth Section...

"...It holds things that can remain above Eternal God even under suppression?"

That was beyond terrifying.

How strong must those beings have been outside the Sanctum? How vast was their understanding of the rules, their fusion of principles and worlds, and their very existence?

Apollo exhaled slowly.

He felt no fear. Only gravity.

A sense of the immense and the incomprehensible. A pressure that was not imposed by force but by excitement.

This, in fact, made perfect sense.

If not for the suppression that limited even terrifying entities to True God level and below, not even he might have survived—much less the other so-called geniuses wandering this section of the Sanctum. The balance would have collapsed long ago.

But they also learn about an interesting place, which is called the Valley of Beginning.

That is the most important place in this section of the sanctum.

According to what they have heard, it seems to contain the legacy of countless warriors who died in ancient wars and even from the ancient warriors who, for some reason, are either suppressed or stayed here.

There were countless rumours about this place. Like some claimed that even just walking into the valley triggered visions of ancient battles—not illusions, but spiritual imprints powerful enough to test the will and soul of any who dared to stand up in front of it to receive their legacies.

Others believed that if one’s soul resonance aligned with a particular remnant, they could inherit a battle memory or even temporarily be possessed by a war spirit to relive an ancient confrontation.

But the most compelling rumour?

At the very centre of the valley...

...there was an unnamed corpse bigger than a small mountain that had even been dead for countless years, whose heart is still beating.

Many before believed it was alive; later, eons passed, and it still remained like this, and it said sound wasn’t heard with ears—it pulsed in the blood, echoed in the bones, resonated with the soul.

Some said it was an ancient sovereign, a being that had existed before the beginning of this universe. Others whispered it was a God of War, struck down in betrayal, refusing to let go of rage even in death.

Some even still believed it wasn’t a corpse at all but an incubating Will, preparing to rise again once the conditions were met.

Many warriors from ancient times were enlightened by the mysterious heart, which seemed to have the ability to bring out the potential.

After his breakthrough, they made their way towards the Valley of Beginning. The group then quickly arrived at their destination.

And they quickly noticed the change, as this place wasn’t desolate like before but had quite a few people there, and thankfully nobody seemed to stop them.

Strange formations and ancient statues dotted the cracked earth, half-buried in moss and time. Whispered chants and low conversations drifted in the air, but no one raised a voice or caused a commotion.

Sara glanced around. "So many people..."

Clark nodded. "This isn’t like the other places."

They even noticed some geniuses from both the Void god list and the true god list that came here just like them.

Apollo, calm as ever, walked forward. None stopped them. A few cast glances in his direction—some curious, others wary—but no one approached. The sheer pressure of his aura, even restrained, was enough to make people keep their distance.

Before long, they reached the edge of the valley, where the sky seemed dimmer and the land felt ancient.

They already started to feel the numerous auras scattered around the valley, waiting for an inheritor that can inherit their power.

"This place is different," Clark muttered beside him. His voice was subdued, unconsciously respectful.

Sara nodded. "It feels like the whole valley is... listening."

They didn’t waste time. The three of them stepped into the Valley of Beginning, and the world around them seemed to be changed.

Immediately countless tombs seemed to appear in front of them, each radiating a powerful and mysterious aura.
