Genius Noble With System
Chapter 290: Returning to the original timeline

Chapter 290: Returning to the original timeline

Apollo stood in absolute silence. The power surging within him was beyond anything he had ever imagined.

Before, he had already been a monstrous genius—but now, with three Supreme Rules at his command, he had stepped into an entirely new realm of power.

Space.

Fire.

Destruction.

Any one of these rules alone could make someone a legendary existence. But together?

Even he himself wasn’t sure of his limits anymore.

Could he fight against Eternal Gods? The very thought was madness, yet... he had a feeling that weak ones might already be within his reach.

And yet, despite this overwhelming transformation, he was still just a Half-God.

His journey wasn’t over.

The Seventh Turn was only another step. With two more breakthroughs, he would finally step into the realm of a Void God—the threshold of true divinity.

But he knew one thing for certain.

He wouldn’t just be a Void God.

He would be the strongest Void God in existence.

After this, he quickly wanted to check the flames that the unknown seed had bloomed into. Apollo controlled the flames within him, and instantly, a small ball of black with a hint of golden flames appeared on his hand.

"This clearly sovereign’s flame; it cannot go wrong." Golden Flame Lord appeared right beside Apollo and said excitedly, It, as he looked at the black-golden flames in his hand.

The other two Great Flame Lords and other high-ranking surviving members of the Black Flame Sovereign realm also came and surrounded him. All of them showed excited expressions when they saw the flames, which means that at least the legacy of Sovereign still remains, and maybe he can be resurrected from these flames.

He looked at the excited expression of the golden flame lord and others but remained calm and looked at the flames in his hand. He felt the three great flame lords should not make a mistake, as they were the sovereign’s own child.

And then he suddenly thought of something and became excited. Could it really be the black lotus flame? Then wouldn’t it mean he fulfilled the mission of saving the black flame lotus?

Apollo’s mind raced.

The Black Lotus Flame... could it really be?

If what the Golden Flame Lord and the others said was true—if the flame in his hands was truly the Sovereign’s own—then... didn’t that mean he had fulfilled his mission?

He might not have saved the original Black Flame Sovereign, but if he had inherited the Black Lotus Flame itself...

Wouldn’t that be enough?

His return should be possible.

His heartbeat quickened. For the first time since his arrival in this unknown past, he felt a real sense of hope.

But he forced himself to remain calm.

However, he cannot control his emotions, and just as he is about to see if there are any new updates on his mission in his system, he hears the cold system’s voice.

[Chapter three: Black Lotus Flame]

[Objective - Save the Black Lotus Flame]

Apollo’s breath caught in his throat.

[Status - Completed]

He had done it.

A rush of emotions surged through him—relief, excitement, disbelief. After everything, after facing annihilation, witnessing the fall of an entire realm, and nearly being trapped here forever...

He was going back.

But before he could fully process it, the cold, mechanical voice echoed once more.

[Space-time jump is being issued in ten seconds.]

And the mysterious power of space-time started to fluctuate around him, which was first noticed by the senior orb, who understood what was going on.

"Looks like it’s your time to leave." Senior Orb’s world echoed, and he didn’t try to hide it, which was clearly heard by everyone present.

The Flame Lords and the remaining survivors noticed the sudden shift in his aura. The air around him shimmered unnaturally as if the very fabric of reality was about to pull him away.

"What?" The Golden Flame Lord’s voice trembled slightly, eyes widening in realization.

The other two Great Flame Lords stiffened.

"Stop it; he, from the beginning, didn’t belong here, and be glad that at least his flames survived." Senior Orb said to calm them.

They were powerful beings, yet at this moment, they were helpless—watching as the only remaining trace of their Sovereign was about to vanish before their eyes.

"Wait!" The Golden Flame Lord reached out as if trying to grasp onto fate itself. But it was no use.

Apollo looked at the three Flame Lords and Senior Orb finally for the last time.

"Thank you for everything, and goodbye. Maybe in the future, we will meet again." With those words, he disappeared from the time-space.

The moment Apollo vanished, an eerie silence settled over the ruined battlefield.

The black-golden flames he had left behind still flickered, a lingering testament to his presence—yet, he was gone.

"...He didn’t belong here," he muttered, echoing Senior Orb’s words. But that didn’t make it any easier to accept.

Senior Orb, with his ever-composed voice, let out a soft sigh. "At the very least... the Black Lotus Flame has been reborn. That is enough."

The surviving members of the Black Flame Sovereign Realm bowed their heads in quiet reverence. They had witnessed a miracle—the rekindling of their Sovereign’s legacy.

Then, the Golden Flame Lord turned toward the place from where he disappeared.

His eyes burned with determination.

"He said we might meet again." His voice was steady, filled with conviction.

The other two Flame Lords exchanged glances before nodding.

"Then we will wait," the Golden Flame Lord declared.

On the other side, Apollo felt as if he were drifting through an endless river of time, the currents pulling him through the vast and unknowable depths of space-time. He had no sense of direction, no sense of how long he had been travelling—only an infinite, unyielding void surrounding him.

Then—boom!

A powerful force slammed into him, and his vision twisted violently. Reality shattered and reformed in an instant.

When the dizziness faded, he found himself standing amidst a familiar ruin.

The Forbidden Infernal Destruction Realm.

Or, more precisely—the remains of the Black Flame Sovereign Realm. He had finally returned.

His eyes narrowed as he took in his surroundings. The Infernal destruction realm was exactly as he had left it before being pulled into the past. Crumbling black stone, scorched earth, and the lingering echoes of annihilation and aura of destruction filled the air.

He didn’t find the small shrine from which he found the system’s fragment, as it seemed to have disappeared.

[Reward is being issued...]

....

[Reward- Seed of Destruction is being issued.]

The moment the system’s voice faded, Apollo felt a surge of unimaginable power erupts within him.

Within his soul, a mysterious seed containing the rule of destruction appeared and burst with a powerful aura that instantly merged with his understanding of the rule of destruction.

BOOM!

A terrifying aura exploded outward, the very air trembling under the overwhelming force of destruction. The broken land beneath him cracked further, unable to withstand the sheer weight of the destructive energy.

His understanding of the Rule of Destruction deepened at a monstrous pace. And the uncontrollable wild power of destruction slowly started to become steady.

The surge of aura was so terrifying that even the land filled with destruction and the aura of the abyss, his power still travelled far, and numerous corrupted beasts and other explorers from the outside also felt that.

Most of them were afraid and tried to move far from this place, but some brave ones started to move towards this direction, thinking some powerful treasure was born.

But Apollo didn’t care as he was busy with the surge of power that lasted only a few moments, but when it settled, his aura had undergone once again a profound transformation.

His golden-black flames flickered wildly before stabilizing, their glow more profound, more absolute. And his understanding of the rule of destruction seemed to leave his other two rules and reached the peak of the first layer before stabilizing completely.

The Seed of Destruction had not just merged with his understanding of the Rule of Destruction—it had reforged it, making his control over destruction even more terrifying.

His breath came out slow, measured.

Too much power. Too fast.

But Apollo’s mind was sharp. He swiftly adjusted, compressing his aura so it wouldn’t recklessly spill outward. Even so, the land beneath his feet continued to crumble; the very laws of the world were being destroyed under his presence.

The seed of destruction within his soul didn’t crumble or disappear, but it remained sturdy, anchoring and maintaining the balanced power of his destruction.

Apollo finally opened his eyes.

A cold, detached gaze swept across the horizon as he felt quite a few auras coming this way.

"Idiots." His voice was indifferent, but the space around him shuddered—the mere weight of his will seemed to shatter lands.

After all of this, his strength reached a terrifying level; before entering the infernal realm he might feel troubled seeing so many coming towards him, but now it doesn’t matter as they didn’t belong to the same level at all.
