Chapter 251: Battling Seven Void Gods (Part-1)
They all couldn’t believe that only a few top geniuses in the universe could fight Void gods with their half-god realm. But that unbelievable thing just happened right in front of them.
The air was thick with tension as powerful auras flickered to life, hidden observers from various factions reconsidering their plans. Many of them had hoped to swoop in after the dust settled, claiming the treasures without dirtying their hands. Now, they weren’t so sure, as how can there be no protector beside him?
The Void God and the young man were now utterly horrified, especially the Void God, as he knew how much strength he used. Although it wasn’t his best, Apollo also didn’t try. Just from this, he was sure he might not be able to defeat him.
Not to mention, Apollo wasn’t alone. Serena stood a short distance away, her arms crossed, gazing at the scene with contempt as if the blue-skinned young man and his entourage were nothing more than insignificant ants.
The young man’s frustration boiled over, and he shouted, "Are you all just going to stand there and watch? You’ve already seen that this isn’t going to be easy. If we keep fighting on our own, we’ll all end up paying the price! Why not join forces instead? Together, we can take him down, and then we can decide how to use the key!"
His voice echoed across the silent battlefield, seeking support from the hidden onlookers who were still observing from the shadows, hesitant to make the first move.
The silence that followed the young man’s plea was deafening. Those hiding in the shadows exchanged uncertain glances, weighing the risk against the potential rewards. For a moment, no one moved, the sheer aura of Apollo’s earlier display lingering in their minds like an oppressive storm cloud.
From one of the hidden alcoves, a shadow-cloaked figure finally stepped forward, their presence imposing. "Interesting." The figure’s voice was low, gravelly, and carried an air of authority. As the first person spoke, others began emerging, one by one, until nearly a dozen figures stood in the open.
"Strength doesn’t mean invincibility," another spoke, a woman with golden eyes that glowed faintly.
Lady Ysera and the young man with her also came out, but they weren’t alone; beside them were two people, one man and one woman, standing there like guards.
Among the dozen, there were six Void Gods, and counting the one from before, there were now seven Void Gods standing right in front of Apollo.
Seeing such a number, the crowd watching from afar was too shocked. Every Void God is a powerhouse and is usually difficult to see, but seven were gathered at the same place, making the aura so intense that the entire station seemed to be trembling.
Even the hidden Void gods of Astral Void Station, who at first didn’t want to join the mess, were also unable to help it as they concentrated on the battle that was going to happen.
The air seemed to tremble, resonating with the oppressive force of their power. The onlookers, both hidden and visible, were frozen in a mix of awe and fear.
The young man from before, emboldened by the arrival of reinforcements, sneered at Apollo. "Your arrogance will be your undoing. You may have handled a single Void God but against seven of us?" He gestured to the powerful figures around him. "Even if you are a top genius, you can’t overcome those odds."
Apollo stood unfazed, his expression calm, almost indifferent. He didn’t even glance at the gathered Void Gods; instead, his eyes lazily roamed across the distant observers and hidden powerhouses.
Finally, his gaze settled back on the young man. "Seven Void Gods," Apollo murmured, his tone casual yet carrying a weight that made the surrounding air quiver. "Is this supposed to impress me?"
The young man bristled at the remark, but before he could respond, one of the Void Gods, a towering figure wreathed in faint, swirling darkness, stepped forward. "Arrogant child," the Void God said, his voice like a rumble of distant thunder. "You may have some strength, but that’s it. Do you think you can defeat Void Gods easily."?
"Then show me; why talk this much?" Apollo replied calmly with a smile.
The tension thickened as the Void Gods exchanged glances, silently coordinating. Their combined aura intensified, the ground beneath their feet cracking under the strain. The distant spectators could barely keep their composure, many of them retreating further into the shadows, unwilling to be caught in the crossfire of what was to come.
Hidden within the Astral Void Station, other Void Gods—those who had chosen not to involve themselves—now turned their full attention to the unfolding confrontation. Even they couldn’t remain indifferent to such a gathering of power.
"Seven Void Gods," one of the hidden observers muttered. "If this young man can stand against them... no, if he can survive, his talent might not be weaker than the top thousand rankers in the World Battle Dimension."
The battlefield was set, the silent anticipation palpable. Seven Void Gods stood ready to strike, their combined power threatening to engulf everything in their path. But in the eye of the storm, Apollo stood unwavering, his calm demeanour a stark contrast to the chaos brewing around him.
"Come," Apollo said, his voice steady and unyielding. "Let’s see how many of you it takes to entertain me."
Three Void Gods attacked first, and they didn’t waste time as they took out their weapons. Two of them used swords, and one used a spear, and they were all divine rank weapons, although only 1st rank; it was still divine weapons. It increased their strength.
The three Void Gods moved with lightning speed, their weapons cutting through the air with a deadly hum. Their divine-ranked weapons radiated unimaginable power, tearing space around them with their movement.
The pressure of their combined assault was enough to make half of the land of the entire station beneath them tremble violently.
The Void God with the spear thrust forward, the weapon’s tip glowing with an intense energy that seemed to distort the space around it. The two swordsmen followed, their blades carving arcs of light in perfect synchronization.
This was not a reckless attack; their movements were calculated, a coordinated strike. Even though fighting for the first time together, they design to overwhelm Apollo from multiple angles.
But Apollo didn’t flinch. Instead, he raised his hand quickly as he was a bit excited.
The spear was the first to reach him, its tip aimed directly at his heart. Apollo’s hand moved with a speed that defied comprehension, catching the spear mid-thrust.
Boom!
The force of the attack sent a shockwave rippling outward, tearing apart space behind him, but Apollo’s stance didn’t waver.
"Is this all?" he murmured, his tone as casual as if he were discussing the weather.
The swords followed immediately after, one aiming for his neck and the other for his side. With a flick of his wrist, Apollo spun the spear he had just caught, deflecting both blades in a single, fluid motion. The clash of metal on metal rang out like a thunderclap, and sparks flew as the divine weapons collided with the spear, creating space-shattering shock waves.
The Void Gods recoiled, their expressions a mix of shock and anger. Apollo hadn’t just blocked their attacks—he had done so with an ease that bordered on mockery.
"Three Void Gods, three divine weapons, and this is all you can muster?" Apollo said, his voice carrying just the faintest hint of disappointment. He casually flipped the spear in his hand before throwing it back at its owner with terrifying precision.
The Void God with the spear barely managed to evade the projectile, the weapon embedding itself in the ground behind him with enough force to destroy a mountain.
He was truly a bit disappointed, as after the breakthrough, his divine body had become too strong, already enough to fight 1st rank divine weapons with his body alone. And the three that just attacked him were just early-stage Void Gods and weren’t very talented.
The two swordsmen regrouped, their auras flaring as they prepared for another assault. The Void God with the spear retrieved his weapon, his expression grim.
Apollo smiled faintly, his eyes gleaming with a predatory light. "Come now," he said, his voice laced with challenge. "Surely you can do better than this."
From a distance, the other Void Gods watched with narrowed eyes. Their expressions betrayed a mix of concern and disbelief. This wasn’t a low-level battle but a battle of gods, but the current situation shocked them, as even three Void Gods joined together didn’t seem to do anything to Apollo.
The battlefield seemed to freeze for a moment as the three Void Gods hesitated, their confidence clearly shaken. But their pride didn’t let them back down.
They looked at each other and nodded as they made up their minds.
Boom!
Their aura climbed with different energies, and strong suppression of law covered the entire space. The three of them majored in different laws, and the internal world they created was different.
They were ready to use the strongest means of gods, ’Internal world,’ the source of their power.
