Chapter 249: Auction Ends

This Black Horn also wasn’t just a treasure for individuals; if they were lucky and found some resource point in the Forbidden dimension, then even the entire force might climb to higher heights and become a domineering power in the universe.

Apollo sat quietly in his own VIP room, his gaze fixed on the black horn. He hadn’t made a move yet, thinking about the Forbidden Realm, as he had read little about it.

But that is still a little information, as the universe has countless mysteries and secrets. He cannot just learn about them in two years.

"Serena, do you know anything about Forbidden Realms?" He asked her, as she is strong and has lived who knows how long and should know more about them.

"Hmm, not much. All ten Forbidden Realms have their secrets," Serena said thoughtfully. "But from what I remember, each Forbidden Realm is actually a world left behind by a transcended master—someone who surpassed even the Eternal Gods. So, there are definitely treasures of unimaginable value within them."

She paused for a moment, his expression contemplative, before continuing, "From time to time, keys to these Forbidden Realms randomly appear across the universe. These keys grant access to those forbidden realms. I recall hearing that there’s a similar key to a Forbidden Realm stored in the Sky Tower’s treasure house."

However," she added, thinking for a moment, "the key in the Sky Tower doesn’t appear to be related to the horn we’ve encountered here. That likely suggests they belong to different Forbidden Realms entirely."

"But don’t worry lord; I will quickly ask back and gather information about this forbidden realm, " Serena assured him.

He nodded upon hearing this and felt it not to be a bad choice to buy this as surprisingly Forbidden Realm was left by a transcendent powerhouse.

The bidding goes on, but now it seems fierce competitiveness remains between only VIP 1 room Lady Ysera and a mysterious guy in VIP Room 14, who made his first bid at the last moment like he was waiting for the last item, the Black Horn.

The bidding war between Lady Ysera in VIP Room 1 and the mysterious figure in VIP Room 14 grew more intense, their offers escalating in leaps and bounds. Lady Ysera, known for her vast wealth and influence across multiple star systems, seemed unwilling to let the black horn slip from her grasp.

Meanwhile, the mysterious bidder from VIP Room 14 remained calm, not caring about Divine stones.

"Eight hundred Divine Stones!" Lady Ysera’s voice echoed with unwavering determination. Her aura seeped through the protective barriers of her room.

"Nine hundred," came the counter from VIP Room 14, his tone calm but firm. The authority in his voice sent shivers down the spines of those listening.

The tension was palpable, the room charged with the energies of ambition and greed. The rest of the VIPs had long fallen silent, realizing they couldn’t compete with the sheer financial might of these two juggernauts.

On the stage, Haze’s excitement was clearly visible, her smile widening with each new bid. "Nine hundred Divine Stones from VIP Room 14! Any further bids?"

Lady Ysera’s voice rang out, cold and cutting. "Thousand Divine Stones!"

Gasps filled the hall. Thousand Divine Stones—an amount that most Void Gods wouldn’t earn in a hundred thousand years. Yet neither Lady Ysera nor the man in VIP Room 14 showed any sign of faltering.

Finally, the voice from VIP Room 14 broke the silence once more. "One thousand two hundred Divine Stones."

The hall fell into stunned silence. Even Lady Ysera hesitated, her expression darkening. She clenched her fists, debating whether to go higher. But at such a time, the young guy beside her said something silently that seemed to calm her down. And she stopped bidding.

Seeing the silence, everyone thought that the auction was coming to an end, but at such a time, Serena’s voice echoed in the entire hall.

"One thousand five hundred Divine Stones."

Making the silenced guests feel shocked as they didn’t expect there was another person who had such resources.

The sudden bid from VIP Room 7, Serena’s clear and confident voice, sent a wave of shock rippling through the auction hall. Gasps and murmurs erupted once more as everyone turned their attention to the previously quiet room.

"One thousand five hundred Divine Stones from VIP Room 7!" Haze exclaimed, her excitement barely contained. The hall’s atmosphere turned electric as a new player entered the fray, completely overturning expectations.

All eyes quickly shifted to VIP Room 14. The mysterious bidder had been dominating the auction with his steady resolve and deep pockets.

A long silence followed, and tension increased with each passing second. Finally, a low chuckle echoed from VIP Room 14, calm yet filled with an unspoken intensity. "Two thousand hundred Divine Stones.

"Two thousand five hundred." Immediately, Serena beside Apollo raised the bid.

"Three thousand."

"Three thousand five hundred."

"Four thousand."

The bidding battle between the two giants became intense as they didn’t hesitate to bid one after another to raise the price. It quickly surpassed four thousand and didn’t show any sign of stopping.

Finally, from Apollo’s room, Serena’s cold and calm voice echoed that it seemed to finally end this competition.

"Five thousand Divine Stones!"

In VIP Room 14, the silence stretched unnervingly long. Everyone held their breath, waiting for the next move. But no voice came.

Haze’s gaze darted nervously toward VIP Room 14 as she began counting down. "Five thousand Divine Stones from VIP Room 7! Going once... going twice..."

"Sold!" She finally declared, her voice ringing with finality. "To VIP Room 7 for five thousand Divine Stones! Congratulations to the bidder!"

The black horn was now Apollo’s.

In multiple corners of the hall, hidden behind layers of veils and shadows, numerous pairs of cold, calculating eyes fixed on VIP Room 7.

As the murmurs of speculation and disbelief spread like wildfire, Apollo sat quietly, his fingers lightly tapping the armrest of his chair. Serena turned to him, her expression composed but faintly triumphant. But she felt something; her eyebrows furrowed.

"Lord, I already sensed a large number of people have already surrounded the auction house."

"Oh, how strong are they?" Apollo asked with interest as he wasn’t afraid.

"Most of them were half-gods, but there were also five Void gods," Serena said calmly, not taking the group seriously.

Apollo’s lips curled into a faint, almost imperceptible smile. He leaned back in his chair, appearing entirely unbothered by the situation. His calm demeanour was entirely different from the tension that seemed to hang in the air like a storm cloud.

"Five Void Gods?" He mused, his tone filled with curiosity. "It seems this black horn has stirred quite the commotion.

Serena’s expression remained composed, but her sharp gaze flickered with a dangerous light. "Don’t worry, lord, if those bugs dare to attack, I will make sure that every single one of them won’t leave this place alive."

Apollo chuckled softly. "I suppose it’s only natural. The allure of a Forbidden Realm key would tempt even the most disciplined. Still, five Void Gods..." He tapped his fingers against the armrest, the rhythmic sound echoing faintly in the luxurious VIP room. "It seems like a good warm-up."

Serena glanced at him, her confidence unwavering. "Shall I handle them, my lord?"

He shook his head, a glint of excitement flashing in his eyes. "No need. Let’s see how bold they are. If they attack, I’ll consider it a chance to stretch my legs. Besides," he added, his tone turning cold, "I wanted to see how good Void gods truly are."

Serena nodded, her respect for Apollo deepening. "As you wish, Lord Apollo."

"Good," he said, rising from his seat. "Let’s complete the transaction. I’m curious to examine this horn up close."

As Apollo and Serena waited for their item to arrive at their place. The atmosphere in the auction house shifted. Whispers about them, many eyes lingering with envy, curiosity, and hidden malice. The black horn had drawn every kind of attention imaginable, and the air was thick with tension.

"Who is in VIP Room 7?" one voice murmured, laced with disbelief.

"Whoever they are, they must be backed by a terrifying power. Five thousand Divine Stones... That’s not a sum any ordinary person could throw around."

Despite the tension outside, Apollo sat calmly in his chair, exuding an air of detached confidence.

Just then, a knock echoed on the door of their VIP room. Haze herself entered, carrying the sword fragment and black horn on a velvet tray. Both artifacts radiated a faint, oppressive aura, and their mysterious energies shook even though the room’s layered enchantments.

"Your item, my lords," Haze said seductively, looking at Apollo, bowing low, showing her magnificent twin peaks as she placed the tray before him.

Apollo didn’t care about her small tricks; instead, his eyes gleamed with interest as he reached out, his fingers brushing the surface of the broken sword. Instantly, he felt a surge of ancient power, wild and ferocious, an aura he couldn’t yet comprehend.
