Chapter 231: Spending two day with family

They barely managed to send everyone back before boarding the Sky Ship of the Sacred Light Empire to return to their kingdom. With only two days to visit their families and loved ones, time was of the essence.

The Sky Ship of the Sacred Light Empire was far superior to their previous vessel. It was capable of travelling many times faster and could return them to the Kingdom of Rrioweth in less than twenty hours.

They didn’t talk along the way; instead, they rested and adjusted their minds, as they didn’t have time to rest and sort out the things that just happened.

The next day, they arrived at the Rrioweth Kingdom, and the Sacred Empire’s ship even dropped him directly in the Fletcher family’s territory so that he didn’t have to waste time.

A gigantic skyship appeared in the sky above Fletcher castle, shocking everyone within the territory, as for them it was the first time they had seen something this massive and mysterious. Even some servants were trembling, looking at the sky.

But as Apollo came out of it, Grandpa William, his father, and his mother, who were also anxious, had their eyes glow with bright light, and a smile appeared on their faces.

Although only a few months had passed, Apollo had changed significantly. Now, even if he didn’t intend to, he naturally exuded a divine aura that compelled weaker beings to feel an instinctive urge to bow before him, as if it were the most natural thing in the world.

However, his grandfather and parents immediately recognized him. To them, he was unmistakably their son or grandson. There wasn’t a single ounce of doubt in them; they all just knew it.

"Apollo!" Grandpa William called out, his voice trembling with joy.

Apollo’s divine aura softened as he approached them. The moment he stepped onto the castle grounds, his otherworldly presence seemed to ease, replaced by the warmth of familiarity.

Louise was the first to move, rushing toward him and embracing him tightly. Despite the power now emanating from him, Apollo remained still, allowing her to hold him.

"You’ve changed," she said softly, her voice filled with both pride and relief. "But you’re still my son."

His father placed a steadying hand on her shoulder and nodded at Apollo, his usual stern expression breaking into a rare smile. "Welcome back, Apollo. You’ve grown."

Grandpa William chuckled, his eyes shimmering with pride. "I told you he would shake the world one day. Didn’t I say it?"

Apollo smiled faintly. "Grandpa, you say that about every little thing I do."

The old man laughed louder, stepping forward to pat Apollo’s shoulder, though his eyes widened slightly at the subtle resistance of Apollo’s physique, harder than steel. "Well, this time, I’m not exaggerating, am I?" As he looked at the gigantic skyship in the sky.

As the family reunited, the surrounding servants began to recover from their shock, murmurs rippling through the gathered crowd.

"Young Master Apollo has returned!"

"He looks... divine."

"Did you see that gigantic ship in the sky?

"I am not blind; how can I see this monstrosity?"

The murmurs grew louder as everyone speculated about the journey Apollo had undergone and the significance of his return.

Apollo turned to his parents and grandfather, his expression softening. "There’s a lot to tell you, but first, let’s go inside."

Grandpa William grinned. "Yes, let’s! And you’d better not hold back. I want to hear every detail!"

The family began to make their way into the castle, leaving the stunned onlookers and servants behind. For the first time in what felt like an eternity, Apollo was home.

The Sky ship also left, and the Fletcher castle didn’t return to normal but instead became more hectic as they organized a party for Apollo’s return.

The Fletcher family spared no effort in organizing the feast. The castle’s grand hall was adorned with decorations, and tables were laden with an abundance of delicacies, ranging from rich roasted meats to exquisite desserts that melted in the mouth. Even the air was alive with laughter and the clinking of glasses.

Apollo sat at the head of the table, surrounded by his family and the most loyal servants of the household.

They all ate and drank, whether it was his father, mother, grandpa, or others; even the servants, who were usually in the background, were brought into the festivities. Each received generous rewards—enough to change their lives forever. Coins and treasures were handed out, and the joy on their faces was uncontainable.

The entire day they all talk about almost everything that happened in the Sky Tower and let them know how large the entire universe is, and the incomparably large Rion isn’t much.

Knowing this, they were shocked. They felt proud of Apollo but worried at the same time that now he was going to leave the world and face many unknown dangers beyond their comprehension.

Especially his mother, who couldn’t help but say worriedly, "Apollo, hearing this fills me with pride, but also with worry. The universe is vast, and its dangers are beyond what we can imagine. You’re going to leave this world, aren’t you? And face things we can’t even comprehend."

Apollo met her gaze, his expression resolute yet gentle. "Mother, I can’t grow if I stay here. The unknown is dangerous, yes, but it’s also where the greatest opportunities lie. I have to go if I’m to achieve my destiny."

The hall fell silent for a moment as his family processed his words. Then Grandpa William, ever the optimist, broke the tension with a laugh. "Well, if anyone can survive out there and thrive, it’s you, Apollo! And don’t worry about us. We’ll be here, waiting for your triumphant return."

The mood lightened, and the festivities resumed, though an undercurrent of bittersweet emotion lingered. For all the pride they felt, they also knew that this was only a temporary reunion.

As the night wore on and the castle grew quieter, Apollo stood by a window overlooking the bustling celebration outside. The servants, now free from their duties, danced and sang in the courtyard, their spirits lifted by the night’s generosity.

Pussy King leapt onto the windowsill, yawning lazily. "Kid, tell me truthfully, how many lights you made the Sky pillar shine." It seems to have wanted to know about it for some time and couldn’t help but ask.

"Haha, guess." He laughed and teased.

Pussy King narrowed his eyes, his whiskers twitching in mild irritation. "Don’t toy with me, boy. You’re clever, but I’ve seen enough to know when someone’s hiding something big. Spit it out already."

Although he didn’t fully understand the meaning of his talent of the thirteenth light, since his fifth brother had made sure that nobody remembered it, he had to follow through, as who knows how many dangers he would face if it spread.

Seeing this Pussy King didn’t ask anymore. The next morning arrived swiftly, the vibrant energy of the previous night’s celebration still lingering in the air.

Apollo wasted no time, shifting his focus to more pressing matters. Standing in the training courtyard of the Fletcher estate, he began to instruct those closest to him, especially his grandfather, William, who had recently reached the peak of the second rank.

William stood before Apollo, his posture straight and his expression determined. Despite his advanced age, his spirit remained vigorous. Apollo observed him with a critical eye, his voice calm but firm.

"Grandfather, your foundation is solid, but at the peak of the second rank, precision in controlling your energy is paramount."

Now that resources aren’t a problem, it has become easier, not to mention his grandpa’s talent wasn’t too bad. He should be able to break through in a few months.

Under Apollo’s careful supervision, William felt his control improving, each session bringing him closer to the threshold of a breakthrough.

He didn’t just teach his grandpa, even his father, uncles, or soldiers; he gave them some guidance. But this small hint was a great help to all of them, as his current strength and understanding make it indeed a great benefit for all of them.

Time passed, and the two days given to him quickly came to an end. The moment had finally arrived. Apollo stood with his parents and grandfather, all of them wearing slightly worried expressions. Despite their concern, they didn’t try to stop him.

He could feel the mysterious call deep within, an undeniable pull. The Sky Tower was summoning him.

"The time has come," Apollo said, his voice steady yet tinged with emotion. "Grandpa, Father, Mother, I’m leaving now. I don’t know when I’ll return, but I promise to come back as soon as I can. Please be careful while I’m away and take care of yourselves."

His mother, Alyona, reached out to brush his hair, her eyes glistening. "My son, no matter how vast the universe is, take care of yourself. Your safety means more to us than anything."

Pussy King yawned lazily at Apollo’s feet but then leapt onto his shoulder, purring softly. "Don’t get too sentimental now, kid. You’ve got bigger things ahead."

Apollo chuckled softly at the cat’s words. The Sky Tower’s mysterious call grew stronger, resonating with his very soul.

He took a deep breath and stepped back. "I’ll return," he said again, his voice firm. "When I do, we’ll have more to celebrate than ever before."

A brilliant glow enveloped him, and an invisible force began to lift him and Pussy King from the ground. The family watched, holding their breath, as Apollo ascended into the sky.
