Chapter 49 - 49 - Meeting On Venice Beach!

"Hm…let's hope we can find her in this mess," Darius muttered as he looked up and saw that he had arrived around Venice Beach.

That's where Clara had asked to meet up with him for some reason.

Everything around them was quite loud, and he could see kids running with their parents, struggling to control them. Still, Darius had to admit that it was a good idea. The spot was quite nice to spend time with someone. However, for a business meeting, it was quite unusual.

Still, with the huge amount of people, it would make things a lot harder to actually find Clara.

Nonetheless, Darius walked right in as he hoped that he would receive a call soon enough to help him, and that's exactly what happened. Clara told him that she was on the beach, close to where people were training.

Darius knew that spot, and he quickly headed there. As he was more around the roller coasters, he had to walk for a little while.

However, as he headed there, he managed to spot Clara while he was still quite far away.

She had brought out her A-game from the looks of it. She was wearing some mini jean shorts and a small tank top. Basically, it is something casual that anyone would wear in the summer. However, when it was on her body, it instantly made things ten times better.

It fit her beautiful body perfectly. Her black reflected the sun as she smiled at Darius. With each step she took, her breasts moved and jiggled…with her ass moving left and right.

Still, Darius shook his head as Clara was now only a few feet away from him.

"So, you said you were interested in me becoming your manager? Right?" Darius said as that was the words she had told him back on the phone.

"Yes. I just had some questions about…uh, your experience in this job. I tried searching for your agency, and I didn't find anything. That's why it took me a while to call you."

Darius nodded as he made a mental note to create a website. "Right, well, this is pretty recent. That's why there isn't a website. However, I can assure you that I'm more than qualified for this job. In fact, I even have Aaron Brighton's number, one of the greatest movie directors of this generation."

Clara's eyes widened at those words. "You know Aaron Brighton?!"

Darius smiled and thought. 'I'm even sleeping with his wife. I'd say I know him pretty well.'

"Of course, his daughter is one of my clients," Darius said.

He had said something completely different from what he had thought for the simple reason that he needed to stay professional with her. She still wasn't under his grasp, and he would need to spend a bit more time with her for that to happen.

Still, when all this would be over, Darius would be extremely happy since he would have three talents under him. And what was even better was the fact that those three talents were completely different from one another, making his connections a lot more large and varied.

For his own growth, that was the best thing he could have asked for.

"You know his daughter?! How is she? Is she nice?" Clara asked.

"Well, you might have seen her. She was with me at the swimwear shop."

Clara frowned. "Ah…she was one of those two. I see."

There was almost a tinge of disgust when she said that. However, Darius didn't pressure her to know what it meant.

"Still, you have great connections. How long has it been since you've started this agency of yours?"

"Less than a week. But both of my recruits have already started making a good amount of money. One of them has started her streaming career and has already reached the number of 100 viewers in less than two streams. My other recruit is a singer who has enough potential to become the greatest pop star the world has ever seen."

Darius made sure to sell his abilities as much as he could. He could see that Clara was hesitating as to whether she should sign a deal with him or not. After all, everything around Darius was quite uncertain. He needed to give her some security to make things move.

However, before he could speak up. He was cut off by Clara, who didn't seem finished with what she had to say.

"So, you've recruited a singer and a streamer? Will both of them become the greatest in their domains? Does that mean you think I can become the best actress this world has ever seen?"

'Well, not the best. But certainly one of the best,' Darius thought as he had already seen the future.

Clara's name had been everywhere. However, she hadn't been able to obtain the title of best actress in the world. That was someone else, and that someone was way out of Darius's league for the moment.

That's why Darius was happy with Clara since she also had an S-Rank Talent.

"I believe you have the talent to. Well, as long as you have me nearby."

Darius wasn't lying. The future might change if he was able to improve her talent and abilities. He could potentially make her greater than anyone else. Well, as long as they got intimate. But Darius wasn't too worried about that.

"Hm, what about your cut?"

"5% of your earnings. It's the same with all my recruits."

She rubbed her chin.

Darius could feel that she was getting closer to accepting joining him.

"Oh, did I mention that you don't have to pay any kind of rent if you're to join my agency? You see, we've recently acquired a pretty nice mansion, and there is still a lot of place inside it."

Her eyes widened at those words. "Where is it? Can I see it?"
