Chapter 47: Feedback

"Just like I said, the formation will be less effective against the powerful. That’s the cons you must get rid of." Qwanisha advised. "Just be powerful enough so that no one can be more powerful than you three."

Kaiju nodded.

"The entire battle, I only used my mana once–to avoid falling from the pitfall. That means, those unawakened would surely die at that moment. That’s why, Kaiju, you have to learn more about traps until it reaches Rare grade, so it can be effective to those awakened like me."

Kaiju grasped that aside from eliminating key targets and inciting ambush points, his role was also to set up traps. Of course, he has to cooperate with Snow. Earlier, through communication with Snow, she purposely created a supposed safe area Qwanisha could escape to. That was very effective–though, he doubted if Qwanisha was really fooled. Kaiju bitterly accepted that his current trap skills were far from enough to trap Qwanisha.

"Snow, don’t hold back at all. You could have gotten me with your mist skill but you hesitated, only spewing it out before Little Gorilla could get away. Trust him, he could defend against your skill, he is a tank for nothing. If he can’t..." Qwanisha grinned. "Well, at least, you make him understand the importance of defending since his role is to anchor."

Snow lowered her head, feeling wronged. She shook her head and replied in a determined gaze, "You may be right, auntie, but you’re just powerful. I still timed it for Brother Gorilla to escape while you were about to land at the same time. Brother Gorilla’s role as an anchor is important. Once he is injured, our battle formation will be broken. It’s my role to ensure that he will take as little damage as possible."

Qwanisha was taken aback, in awe of Snow’s intelligence. It appeared Snow understood how lethal her skills were–although, indeed, Little Gorilla could tank it, it did not mean he would get away without repercussion. Qwanisha couldn’t help but smile.

"Alright, if you say so. But if the worst comes to worst, don’t hesitate to make a heavy decision for your survival."

Snow nodded. She received a gentle pet by Kaiju while praising her to which she liked very much. At the same time, she received a grateful smile and grateful message by Little Gorilla, to which she just nodded.

"As for you Little Gorilla. You did a good job trying to anchor me despite leaving the zone you were establishing. Your approach was correct, as soon as the enemies left the zone of control, establish another one, just continue to do so until your enemies slowly wear out of your assault."

Little Gorilla’s eyes sparkled, nodding frantically. From the past week, all he received was scolding from Qwanisha. Now, he received her approval and couldn’t help but feel elated. He has to thank his master and Snow since he was just following them, as it turned out to be effective.

"In addition, when it comes to battle attrition, Kaiju, you should quickly grasp which side would wear quickly. If you sense you are at a disadvantage, don’t hesitate to make a retreat. If it is impossible to do so, well, just die with them, then." Qwanisha giggled.

Kaiju laughed half-heartedly, replying, "Well, I’ll always make sure we always stay alive. I know how deadly this battle formation is, not only for the enemies but for us. I’ll keep that in mind." Qwanisha nodded in response.

"To end the feedback, take it with a grain of salt, Kaiju." Qwanisha’s countenance turned grave. "You were the weakness of the battle formation, your assassination could barely be called successful. It’s just that, you’re too weak. You have to be awakened in three months. You have to work hard."

Kaiju’s face turned solemn and nodded. He clenched his fist tightly. He felt pressure from Qwanisha’s task. He might really have to spend his Luck Points if he wanted to cheat his way through. Griffin and others managed to increase their attributes fast because they received a Genesis Serum. He did not even see one, much less be injected by it, even just a crude grade. Kaiju sighed helplessly.

It was not entirely over for him yet. At the very least, he just had to work hard, of course adding the fact he must put his whole mind into it, or else, working hard would not just be enough.

"Don’t worry, I’ll help you. You don’t need Griffin anymore." Qwanisha snorted. "I trained that guy until his sword mastery broke through. Don’t worry, I’m confident."

Kaiju nodded, heaving a sigh of relief. He couldn’t be more thankful with Qwanisha’s kindness, especially others who poured all their time and effort into training him and his pets. Slowly, without him realizing, another desire spouted in his heart–he did not want to disappoint them. It would become a driving factor for him to work hard–for the desire to survive did not suffice.

"Let us start another battle again." Qwanisha ordered. Kaiju and others instantly attacked her, performing the same battle formation but taking a minimally different approach.

Three hours later, Kaiju, Snow, and Little Gorilla were panting, perspirations all over their faces. Qwanisha did not even break a sweat, staring at them indifferently while ruminating. Kaiju and others were lying on the floor, breathing heavily. Qwanisha said, "You guys have improved. You are adapting to me. I was changing my approach so it would be difficult for you all to catch me but you were catching rapidly."

Kaiju and his pets were filled with smiles as they listened. They suddenly felt sleepy but Kaiju had to hold it in.

"Don’t sleep, Kaiju. You don’t have a rest." Qwanisha grinned. She sat without her butt and knees touching the ground in front of Kaiju and said, "Tonight, you will learn about the burg’s hierarchy."

Kaiju moaned in response, agreeing.

"Good." Qwanisha nodded. She tilted her head upward and stared in a particular direction. "Below the Baron Vampire, there are only two vassals, Bloodbound and Crimson Knights. We sometimes refer to them as the brain and sword of Vladislaus."
