He dared not look up at his father, afraid to see deep disappointment in his eyes. He was even more afraid that his father might consider him incapable and choose another heir.

Yannis raised his head in surprise, and only to see his father’s imposing face, but there was no trace of any anger or disappointment.

Mr. Yoder snorted derisively, "If it were anyone else, I would naturally be angry. But these Accacia Duo, their deaths are nothing to lament over."

"This Ms. Vanquez, even the Accacia Duo weren’t a match for her, she definitely has strong protectors around her."

"Father means she already has an affiliated family?" Yannis adjusted his expression.

If that were true, it explained why Amalia showed no hesitation that day.

"The one she’s affiliated with is likely not weaker than the Yoder family. I’ll personally have this investigated. You doesn’t need to get involved," Mr. Yoder stated.

"Regarding Ashe in the Red Espiritual Net, how’s the situation progressing?"

Yannis had to say, "The fish is almost taking the bait. We’re waiting for the other party to call. Such a big deal, they can’t resist."

"This time, don’t mess it up. Are you sure the other party has no background?" Mr. Yoder said calmly.

He had been biased and hadn’t considered any connection between them.

"Ridiculous! What if this so-called supply chain is actually that Ms. Vanquez!" Mr. Yoder’s face turned cold.

Yannis’s mind raced with sweat. "But, Ashe once displayed seven artifacts at once. If it’s all come from that Ms. Vanquez, how could she manage to do that?"

Mr. Yoder’s expression darkened. "How do you know that she didn’t save them up before? Go and investigate right away."

"Yes, Father."

Yannis left the Yoder residence and immediately began the investigation. Ashe’s identity was a closely guarded secret, and the Red Espiritual Net was unwilling to disclose any information. Samuel certainly wouldn’t tell him either; so, his only option had to be Francisco.

When he realize it, Francisco found himself once again captured by the second young master of the Yoder family.

"I’m asking you, how did Samuel know about Ashe’s shop? What’s his relationship with Ashe?" Yannis narrowed his eyes.

Francisco’s legs turned weak. When he was first caught, he thought the second young master wouldn’t let him go. Hearing this question, he wiped the sweat from his forehead.

"H-he... he doesn’t have any relationship with Ashe. Someone else introduced him."

"Who?" Yannis immediately pressed.

"It was Carlos. The Salvador family and the Cabello family used to be neighbors. Their relationship was good. Carlos always treated Samuel like an older brother and discovered Ashe’s shop, so he introduced it to him."

Francisco explained nervously, unaware of the impact his words had on Yannis.
