Chapter 947: The Path of Ying and Yang And The Path of Chaos (Part 3)

Had Amalia and Kenny Lin chosen another path, there was a high likelihood that enemies would attempt to follow them.

"Everyone else has already chosen, yet they haven’t moved. They must be waiting to see what our martial uncle and aunt will choose. I’d love to see their reactions when they find out they’ve taken the Path of Yin and Yang and the Path of Chaos," Seongwoo Jin said with a satisfied smirk.

"Alright, everyone else, go on ahead. We’ll reunite later. I hope we all make it through and see each other again," Jirandai Tang said, giving his instruction.

"I’ll go first." Taeseon Lei was the first to move, making his way straight toward the Path of the Sword.

The Path of the Sword’s gate was large, with a sword engraved on it that exuded an intense sword energy. Staring at it too long could leave one injured by the aura alone.

As the senior disciple, Jirandai Tang watched as each person entered their chosen path until only Amalia and Kenny Lin remained.

"Once we enter, will we be able to meet up again?" Amalia asked, recalling his earlier words.

"Yes, but only if you make it out. Some might get too deeply absorbed and never return. When comprehending your path, be careful not to lose yourself," Jirandai Tang replied.

Amalia nodded her head. "I understood. You should go as well."

Jirandai Tang smiled and said, "Martial aunt, you should enter first. I’ll join you through the Path of the Sword in a bit."

Seeing that he was trying to watch over them, Amalia said no more and led Kenny Lin toward the two front gates.

Some lingering gazes followed their every move.

"They both use blade and sword, so they’ll definitely take the Paths of the Blade and the Path of the Sword. There’s no question about it. Amalia is one of the few in the Green Lotus Sect who wields a blade. If we enter the Path of the Blade, it’s only a matter of time before we run into her," Seonho Ming said coldly.

"They have Gold tokens," Temujin Lei replied, sensing a potential twist. He wouldn’t be at ease until he saw it for himself.

"You think they might enter the Path of Yin and Yang or the Path of Chaos?" Seonho Ming asked, catching Temujin Lei’s implication. "That’s impossible. Even with the Gold tokens, it depends on destiny. My master once said that someone had held a Gold token before but was still denied entry to the Path of Chaos."

"They’re moving," Hyejong Xiong suddenly shouted.

Everyone immediately looked over, only to see Amalia without changing her expression, walk past the Path of the Blade they expected her to choose, then the Path of the Sword, before finally stopping before the Path of Yin and Yang and the Path of Chaos.

"They actually chose the Path of Yin and Yang and the Path of Chaos." The disbelief extended even to the Demonic Night Sect. Dongjian Zhao hadn’t forgotten the humiliating defeat outside, and his injuries still hadn’t fully healed; the sword energy lingering within him was hard to purge, and if not for his master’s assistance, he wouldn’t have even had the strength to enter the Path of All Immortals.

"It’s pointless. The Path of Yin and Yang and the Path of Chaos require fated individuals. Even with the Gold tokens, they won’t..." Songji Yan trailed off, watching as the two of them threw their Gold tokens forward.

In midair, the tokens burst into golden light before flying into the Path of Yin and Yang and the Path of Chaos. The entrance to the Path of Yin and Yang let out a deep, resonant sound, while the Path of Chaos simply absorbed Amalia instantly.

On the other side, Jirandai Tang watched them enter and was the last to leave.

Seeing that their targets hadn’t followed their predicted path, the Eternal One Sect and Demonic Night Sect disciples, with grim expressions, quickly entered other paths.

Amalia was transported within, and in the blink of an eye, the swirling vortex vanished, leaving her in complete darkness. She stretched out her hand, and a cluster of flames burst forth, illuminating her surroundings as if it were daylight.

Before her lay a long, narrow passageway, stretching forward into endless darkness.

A faint sigh sounded.

"Who’s there?" Amalia’s eyes narrowed.

Her voice echoed against the stone walls, rebounding back and creating layers of eerie echoes, as if she had wandered into a haunted house.

Having come this far, she composed herself and began walking forward. As she drew closer to the walls, she noticed what seemed like carvings on the stone. Just as she leaned in for a closer look, the carvings seemed to come alive, suddenly transforming into a flaming phoenix that lunged at her.

Amalia stepped back quickly, drawing her blade to strike, but the fiery phoenix vanished as swiftly as it appeared.

"A fire phoenix appearing in the Path of Chaos... Does this mean the Path of All Immortals might actually contain the Phoenix Feather I’m looking for?"

As this thought crossed her mind, the world around her turned white, and she saw a "waterfall" at the end of the sky.

The "waterfall" appeared as a massive pillar, like a tear in the heavens, with vast amounts of water flowing down endlessly, vanishing into some unknown place. Occasionally, someone would emerge from the "waterfall," day after day, year after year.

Then one day, the "waterfall" suddenly collapsed, and from that moment on, no one emerged from within.

With the collapse of the waterfall, the space became extremely unstable, splitting into dark, jagged cracks—like the spatial rifts she had seen on Earth, capable of instantly destroying even the strongest individuals.

This world seemed increasingly fragile. The inhabitants began falling one after another, and those who survived fought desperately in a battle to save themselves.

The war pierced the heavens themselves—literally tearing open the sky and spilling into a continent below, where the fight continued, even drawing in the demonic beasts, including the fiery phoenix Amalia had just witnessed.
