Chapter 836: Crazy Conspiracy (Part 1)
Hana Yun’s voice grew softer, as if filled with some kind of allure.
"Hana Yun, they are my guests. Don’t go too far!" Sehyun Wang warned coldly, her face turned cold.
Hana Yun gave her a casual glance, twirling a strand of hair around her jade-like finger, and said nonchalantly, "What? Are you so afraid I’ll steal your ’guests’? It’s not like it’s the first time. We’re cousins, after all. It wouldn’t hurt to let me have them a few times."
"I wish I weren’t your cousin!" Sehyun Wang was infuriated.
It was precisely because it wasn’t the first time that she increasingly despised Hana Yun.
This woman knew Sehyun Wang also appreciated beauty very much, and every time she invited a good-looking people to her mansion, Hana Yun would come over and steal them away.
Several times, people who had been staying with her left after Hana Yun privately promised them benefits.
Although Sehyun Wang only liked their looks and wasn’t truly in love with any of them, Hana Yun’s actions were like snatching food from her mouth.
If she didn’t stop her, with Hana Yun’s personality, she would only push further.
"How about it? Both of you can come with me. I guarantee, before you reach the Deity Transformation stage, whatever you want, I can provide it."
Hana Yun no longer paid attention to Sehyun Wang and directly transmitted a message to the two of them.
As long as she could lure these stunningly beautiful women and handsome men to Harmonywood City, the cost before they reached the Deity Transformation stage would be worth it.
In the end, they might even return the favor to her.
It would be a win-win situation.
Hidden in Hana Yun’s eyes was a glimmer of calculation.
"Don’t believe a word she says," Sehyun Wang warned, seeing that Hana Yun was just staring at them without speaking.
She guessed that Hana Yun was secretly communicating with them.
"Sehyun Wang, just because you can’t do something doesn’t mean others can’t," Hana Yun twisted her words intentionally.
Sehyun Wang didn’t fall for it.
She sneered, "What is it that I can’t do? Like you, keeping a hundred concubines in your courtyard?"
Hana Yun’s face immediately turned cold. "For them, I could dismiss all those concubines."
"Dismissing them—could you really handle that?" Sehyun Wang mocked.
"Mock me all you want, but for them, I can do it." Hana Yun took the opportunity to declare her determination.
"So noisy." Kenny Lin finally revealed an impatient expression, his eyes flashing coldly as he glared at Hana Yun.
This damn woman—it’s one thing for her to desire him, but now she dared to covet his wife too.
Hana Yun felt her hair stand on end under his gaze, realizing that he was actually emitting killing intent toward her.
Her first reaction was disbelief, followed by not fear, but fury.
"What kind of expression is that? You want to kill me? You think you can? It’s your fortune that this young lady fancies you, and yet you dare think about killing me?"
Hana Yun laughed angrily.
If he weren’t the most handsome man she had ever seen, she would have had him killed on the spot for his ingratitude.
She didn’t necessarily need both of them.
Although the woman beside him was slightly inferior, compared to the concubines in her courtyard, she was far more outstanding—truly a rare gem.
Perhaps she should make an example of him to scare her.
If she killed one to frighten the other, he might just submit to her.
"Miss, be careful!" The Nascent Soul-stage guard behind her suddenly changed his expression and whisked Hana Yun away in an instant.
The violent sword energy didn’t hit Hana Yun but instead struck one of her Nascent Soul-stage guards standing behind her.
The guard didn’t even have a chance to dodge and was instantly killed on the spot.
Blood splattered, spreading a faint metallic scent in the air, and it wasn’t until a servant, who had been sprayed with blood, let out a sharp scream that the horror of the scene fully sank in.
Hana Yun stared in disbelief at what had just happened.
If the guard had been even a second slower, the blood splattered on the ground would have been hers.
Rage surged through her entire body.
"Yuji, kill him for me!"
Hana Yun coldly glared at Kenny Lin, the fake gentleness in her eyes vanishing as quickly as it had appeared.
"Yes, Miss." Yuji, the Nascent Soul-stage guard who had just saved her, responded with chilling indifference.
His gaze at Kenny Lin was equally filled with killing intent.
If the Miss had died or been severely injured right in front of him, as her main protector, he would have been held accountable.
This person had nearly caused him to be punished—unforgivable!
"How dare you!" Yuri stepped in front of them, blocking their path as Sehyun Wang urgently signaled her.
"Sehyun Wang, tell your dog to move aside!" Hana Yun’s face darkened instantly.
"You think my Yuri is the same as your Yuji? You dare to lay a hand on my guests in my own territory, and you expect me to stand by and watch as if I don’t exist?" Sehyun Wang snorted coldly, asserting her dominance.
"He killed my guard!" Hana Yun spat, her tone icy.
"And it’s your fault. If you hadn’t dodged, he wouldn’t have died." Sehyun Wang responded matter-of-factly.
Hana Yun was stunned, completely caught off guard by her words.
She blinked in disbelief. "What did you just say?"
"I won’t repeat myself," Sehyun Wang replied coldly.
"Who the hell asked you to repeat yourself? Sehyun Wang, I’m your cousin! If I die here at Skyward City Lord’s Mansion, I’d like to see how your father explains that to mine!" Hana Yun screamed in frustration.
Sehyun Wang simply chuckled, "Heh."
Watching Hana Yun nearly lose her mind with anger, Amalia couldn’t help but think to herself, This Sehyun Wang really is quite the character.
