Chapter 650: Untouched Secret Realm (Part 1)

Amalia glanced at him, amused.

She had long noticed Vincent Tan’s slightly offbeat nature and wondered how he had managed to get by.

"Let’s go," she said to Kenny Lin and Renshu Chang.

Renshu Chang eagerly agreed; he was glad to leave before any more trouble could arise.

After the three of them left, everyone finally came to their senses.

"Junior Sister Amalia wasn’t lying; she’s not a Junior Master Uncle, but she seems like someone that was close to Junior Master Uncle," Dura Jin said, half laughing, half crying.

"It seems Amalia must have been one of the disciples that was recruited during the Green Lotus Sect’s big competition two months ago. No wonder no one recognized her," Mahamu Tang thought.l, "With Junior Sister Amalia being so formidable and favored by the Junior Master Uncle, she must be quite exceptional."

Dura Jin suddenly remembered something, "But if Kenny Lin is a disciple of the Junior Master Uncle, what about Junior Sister Amalia? He’s so strong, and he mentioned being from the main peak. Could he be a disciple of the Sect Leader?"

"I haven’t heard anything about that, so it’s unlikely. She might have been accepted by another highly ranked elder."

"Well, then Junior Sister Amalia’s backing must be quite powerful too."

Everyone started speculating.

Ding Huiqing and Vincent Tan, who hadn’t gone far, heard the conversations.

"Huiqing, we’re really lucky she didn’t pursue the matter. If it had involved the Junior Master Uncle and the other elders, we’d be done for," Vincent Tan said with relief.

Ding Huiqing rolled his eyes, "They’re just guessing. It’s not necessarily true."

"But I think they’re right," Vincent Tan blinked, "The four of us together couldn’t even fight her back and ended up with three black eyes. She’s really amazing. My father said that disciples with high talent are always sought after by the peak masters and elders."

"Can you stop boosting others’ morale while diminishing our own?" Ding Huiqing said, exasperated.

Vincent Tan, seeing that Ding Huiqing was getting angry, cautiously replied, "But isn’t that the truth?"

Ding Huiqing felt like coughing up blood, "Forget it, pretend I didn’t say anything."

"Who were those two just now? I heard someone say they’re second-generation disciples."

After leaving the main peak’s square, Amalia suddenly asked.

Renshu Chang was slightly startled but knew who she was referring to when he heard "second-generation disciples."

"Why are you suddenly interested in them, Junior Sister Amalia?"

"They have interesting personalities," Amalia replied with a smile.

Renshu Chang also smiled upon hearing this, "Ding Huiqing and Vincent Tan do have rather unique personalities. Especially Vincent Tan. Although Ding Huiqing often finds him annoying, he always takes him along with him when they go out, especially when Vincent Tan cries."

"Did they grow up together?"

"They are childhood friends. Their elders are Elder Ding and Elder Tan of the main peak, both of them are highly respected elders in the Green Lotus Sect."

Renshu Chang continued, "It’s said that the two elders were sworn brothers when they were young and joined the Green Lotus Sect together. Both of the had children late in life, and their only descendants are Ding Huiqing and Vincent Tan. They dote on them immensely, which is why they are so protective."

Amalia laughed again, "So that’s why they have such arrogant personalities?"

"Not exactly for Vincent Tan, but a little bit for Ding Huiqing. It’s understandable, given that he’s been spoiled since childhood and never faced any hardship," Renshu Chang concluded, sighing, "But don’t be fooled by Ding Huiqing’s arrogance. He’s not a bad person and tends to yield to gentleness rather than force."

"That’s apparent. If he were truly a complete scoundrel, he wouldn’t tolerate Vincent Tan," Amalia found this aspect amusing.

Renshu Chang, seeing that she truly bore no grudge, sighed in relief, "The ’second-generation disciples’ everyone talks about are indeed those two. The other two who ran away are third-generation disciples. They usually hang around Ding Huiqing and often instigate much of what he does."

If Ding Huiqing were truly a bad person, Renshu Chang wouldn’t have defended him.

The three of them soon reached the Sect Leader’s hall.

With Renshu Chang leading the way, they entered the hall without needing to announce themselves.

"Congratulations, Martial Aunt, on winning the first place in the Illusion realm trial," Sect Leader Qing stood in the center of the hall, seemingly waiting for them.

It was Amalia’s first time in the Sect Leader’s hall.

It was very spacious inside, more like a place for discussions.

"Thank you, Sect Leader."

Sect Leader Qing smiled and took out the insights into the formation he had prepared in advance, "This is the reward for breaking through the formation. I didn’t expect you to be the one to solve it; it truly surprised me."

"Is that genuine?" Kenny Lin asked, smiling faintly.

Sect Leader Qing’s expression remained unchanged, "Of course. Joining halfway put you at a disadvantage, yet you managed to turn the tables at the end. If I’m not mistaken, Martial Aunt, the blade technique you used should be the Eight Gods Blade."

"Correct. Is there something special about the Eight Gods Blade?" Amalia nodded, noting that everyone seemed to recognize it, indicating that the Eight Gods Blade was not an unknown blade technique.

Sect Leader Qing, noticing her ignorance, explained, "Martial Aunt, you might not know this, but the Eight Gods Blade is actually the signature technique of an elder from the Eternal One Sect."

Amalia showed a hint of surprise, as she was entirely unaware of this.

"It’s understandable that you wouldn’t know. The elder from Eternal One Sect passed away many years ago," Sect Leader Qing continued, revealing the origins of the Eight Gods Blade.

Amalia remembered something, "I once used the Eight Gods Blade in front of disciples from the Eternal One Sect on the devil battlefield, but they didn’t recognize it."

Sect Leader Qing laughed, "Ordinary disciples wouldn’t recognize it because the Eight Gods Blade is a rarely taught technique in the Eternal One Sect. It is extremely powerful and particularly effective against devils. Once the blade’s energy enters the body, it can destroy a devil’s primordial spirit. However, not everyone can withstand the blade’s intense energy."
