Chapter 564: The World Beyond The Spatial Rift (Part 6)
The Earth was too small and narrow.
How had the cultivation technique, artifact refining, and amulets drawing suddenly emerged?
Many were curious but lacked the means to find out.
"I believe you are curious about the origin of the Yin-Yang Pearl. If I’m not mistaken, it came from the other world beyond the space rift. Such powerful and mysterious treasures can only originate from a true cultivation world," Adolfo Constanzo continued.
"Why are you telling us this?"
Amalia regained her composure and asked.
She couldn’t believe Adolfo Constanzo would reveal everything to Kenny Lin just because of an Astral Demoniaco Sect legend.
Adolfo Constanzo wasn’t surprised by Amalia’s wariness.
If they had trusted him without any doubt, he would have been concerned.
"I don’t know if you will believe me, but we of Dark Enclaves are genuinely willing to follow him. Besides telling me about the secret about the Dark-type Spiritual Vein’s owner, the previous leader of the Astral Demoniaco Sect also mentioned about the space rift," Adolfo Constanzo explained.
Amalia didn’t show whether she believed him and simply said, "As you said, the other end of the space rift might be a cultivation world. We can’t even get close to the space rift. How could we possibly reach that world?"
"That depends on master. Not only does he have the Dark-type Spiritual Vein, but he has also fused with the Yin-Yang Pearl. The Yin-Yang Pearl naturally possesses the power to counter the space rift. I believe it is the key to traversing the time-space passage," Adolfo Constanzo said, looking at Kenny Lin with fervent but not greedy eyes.
"Don’t call me master," Kenny Lin retorted, raising an eyebrow.
Adolfo Constanzo said nothing.
Amalia could see through him and asked, "Since you know about it, why didn’t you try to take the Yin-Yang Pearl by yourself?"
Adolfo Constanzo shook his head, "Only a spirit cultivator with a special spiritual body can fuse with the Yin-Yang Pearl. At first, I didn’t know it was the Yin-Yang Pearl. I just thought only the master with the Dark-type Spiritual Vein could fuse with it."
After saying this, he looked at Kenny Lin with excitement in his eyes, "I didn’t expect that the master would have two kinds of spiritual bodies. The Yin-Yang Pearl seems to be made for the master. It’s no wonder he can fused with it so easily. I must say, the Sea King had great foresight."
"Stop looking at me like that. Even if you keep calling me master, I won’t acknowledge it," Kenny Lin said coldly.
Adolfo Constanzo looked both amused and pitiful.
Kenny Lin felt a chill from his stare, reinforcing his resolve not to become the master of Dark Enclaves.
If others started looking at him like that, it would disgust him to death.
"Did your previous leader mention how to use the Yin-Yang Pearl?" Amalia, the only one unaffected, asked.
Adolfo Constanzo shook his head, "No, in fact, the previous leader didn’t even know the Yin-Yang Pearl had two sides."
The answer was expected, and Amalia wasn’t too disappointed.
At least they learned that the Yin-Yang Pearl could be used to traverse the space rift.
"The immediate priority isn’t exploring how to travel through time to a cultivation world, but how to close the space rift under the sea," Amalia said.
"The previous leader vaguely mentioned that the Yin-Yang Pearl has the power to forcibly close the space rift. However, it might require a great sacrifice. The exact cost will have to be sensed by the master," Adolfo Constanzo explained.
The fact that the Yin-Yang Pearl could forcibly close space rifts made Amalia increasingly curious about its origin.
What kind of powerful being could create such a defiant treasure, or perhaps the Yin-Yang Pearl was a natural born artifact?
"If you’re done talking, you can leave now," Kenny Lin said, starting to dismiss him.
Adolfo Constanzo smiled bitterly.
Although he knew that the heir of the Dark-type Spiritual Vein had a unique personality, he didn’t expect this.
"Master, everyone in Dark Enclaves genuinely respects and follows you. The reason I shared this information is that we want you to open the passage between Earth and the other world. While the previous leader didn’t tell me everything, I have my suspicions. The appearance of the Astral Demoniaco Sect isn’t coincidental. I suspect there’s a group of orthodox demon cultivators in that other world. If possible, we’d all like to go there," Adolfo Constanzo said sincerely.
There was no reason to doubt him.
The true cultivators on the path of immortality didn’t want to be confined to a world where they couldn’t break through to higher realms.
The humans and mutated creatures had always been limited to the peak of Tier 1 or Level 15.
No one had ever broken through beyond that.
It might be due to Earth’s insufficient spiritual energy, or perhaps breaking through required something that Earth didn’t have.
Many human expert leaned more toward the latter theory.
Amalia nudged Kenny Lin.
He was about to refuse but changed his mind, "Considering you’ve shared such crucial information, I can agree that if we manage to open the passage between Earth and the other world without a terrible cost, we won’t forget you."
"Thank you, master."
Adolfo Constanzo was overjoyed.
He believed that with Kenny Lin’s fusion with the Yin-Yang Pearl, the cost wouldn’t be too high.
"You can leave now. If there are any questions or issues, I’ll have someone notify you," Kenny Lin said, waving him off.
This time, Adolfo Constanzo left willingly.
"Do you think that just as there are demonic cultivators who follow the master of the Dark-type Spiritual Vein, there might be righteous cultivators who follow the master of the Light-type Spiritual Vein?" Amalia asked suddenly.
Kenny Lin thought for a moment, "It’s hard to say. The Astral Demoniaco Sect is currently weak."
"That’s true," Amalia agreed.
The ancient saying goes, ’Evil never prevails over righteousness.’
This should hold true in another world, especially a mature cultivation world, where various powerful factions surely exist.
No one would readily pledge allegiance to a sudden newcomer unless there’s a special circumstance, which is highly unlikely.
