Chapter 438: The Beginning Of The War (Part 6)
The same move as the Eight Gods Blade’s second technique, but this time the blade’s glow was blindingly bright.
Unlike Kenny Lin’s pitch-black and eerie sword light, this was like an extreme point—a piercingly bright light that seemed to expand to its maximum, making the small area no longer able to contain it.
Kenny Lin turned around and saw Amalia’s face illuminated like crystal, with a few black fragments hanging over her sharp and deep emerald pupils.
For a moment, there was a sense of sacred solemnity.
At that moment, the entire battlefield’s focus was taken by her; even the powerful spiritual cultivators fighting in the distance unconsciously slowed down, paying close attention to every movement happening here.
Kenny Lin stepped aside, making way for Amalia in the battle with the Black Titanoviper and the Green Morphaloth King.
A strong sense of crisis quickly targeted the Black Titanoviper, causing it to feel both surprised and angry.
It was surprising that this human dared to abandon the fight with the Green Morphaloth King and boldly chose it as a target.
It was angry that this human underestimated it; the Two Gods Blade might have been able to defeat the Green Morphaloth King, but it was impossible to annihilate it!
The human’s arrogance filled the Black Titanoviper with rage.
"I’d like to see how skilled you are. If not, I’ll tear you to pieces," the Black Titanoviper roared, its dignity deeply affronted.
Amalia’s expression remained calm.
After channeling the power of the Two Gods Blade, the blade’s glow had softened.
Although it was no longer like a dazzling mini sun, its indescribable dangerous aura had not diminished at all.
"Then let’s try it," Amalia said.
As she finished speaking, the sharp aura of the Two Gods Blade erupted suddenly, instilling fear and causing everyone to shiver.
Goosebumps rose, and people couldn’t help but speculate: if they were to face this attack head-on, would they still have the will to resist?
Without trying it themselves, they didn’t dare make a definitive judgment, but from a distance, they could sense the razor-sharp threat emanating from the blade.
They couldn’t help but make up their minds.
Killing the Black Titanoviper would undoubtedly impact the battle situation.
It would boost human morale and decrease the number of high-level mutated creatures on the opposing side.
The human side didn’t have many top-tier experts, even with preparation.
They couldn’t gather many people because other cities also needed top-tier experts to guard against further sudden attacks by mutated creatures.
A loud crash echoed as the Black Titanoviper revealed its giant form, ready to confront the Two Gods Blade head-on.
The serpent’s mouth spewed out a ball of black energy, which met the incoming Two Gods Blade and was instantly sliced in two.
The unstoppable force of the Two Gods Blade easily overwhelmed even the Black Titanoviper’s formidable defense.
The mutated creature’s skin cracked in many places, blood splattered everywhere, and the aftermath seemed even more brutal than expected.
From within the light, the Black Titanoviper’s roars of anger and pain could be heard.
During this clash, a mass of black mist approached the heavily injured Green Morphaloth King from behind, unnoticed and taking advantage of the chaos.
No one expected it, not even the Green Morphaloth King, who never imagined that someone would ambush it at this moment.
Seeing the Black Titanoviper’s dire situation, the other high-level mutated creatures immediately charged in to help, but their opponents intercepted them.
"Where do you think you’re going? Your fight is with me!"
Hans Manuel laughed as he blocked the frustrated Yellow Owlfire.
"Get out of my way!" the Yellow Owlfire roared.
Meanwhile, the Purple Pavoraiah, left behind by Kenny Lin, returned aggressively.
Angered by the human’s underestimation, it dived down from high above, flapping its massive wings.
Its feathers turned into sharp blades, glinting with a black poison, and shot toward Amalia.
Kenny Lin raised his sword, gathering black sword light around him, and emanating an overwhelming pressure.
He then unleashed a rapid attack like a myriad of shooting stars cutting through the night sky.
Explosions bloomed like fireworks in the air, creating a colorful starry sky that transformed the dark heavens in an instant.
The dust and debris from the explosions formed ripples beneath Kenny Lin’s feet as he shot forward, targeting the heavily injured Black Titanoviper.
Although the Black Titanoviper managed to block Amalia’s Two Gods Blade, it suffered severe injuries, and its entire body was drenched in blood.
"How dare you!"
The Purple Pavoraiah realized Kenny Lin’s intent and shouted angrily as it charged forward.
The other high-level mutated creatures also understood the gravity of the situation.
The Orange Auriempest realized this was a pivotal moment for the battle’s trajectory; they couldn’t afford to let the Black Titanoviper die.
What the Orange Auriempest realized, so did Mr. Lin.
Almost simultaneously with its movement, Mr. Lin moved as well.
A massive energy explosion blocked the Orange Auriempest’s path.
The Black Titanoviper’s body was huge, but it didn’t take Kenny Lin long to reach its body.
The sword light in his hand was the sharpest, most unyielding weapon, rotating and piercing through the Black Titanoviper’s body, creating a massive hole at its weakest point.
The Black Titanoviper raised its head and let out a roar, but the sound cut off halfway through.
The giant snake began to plummet from the sky, crashing to the ground and causing a massive dust cloud that rose several tens of feet.
The earth shook, and for a few seconds, those on the city walls felt as though the city was on the verge of collapsing.
From a distance, the Black Titanoviper’s massive body seemed so close.
Everyone gasped in shock as they watched the powerful Black Titanoviper fall dead.
Their eyes turned back to Kenny Lin and Amalia with admiration and awe, particularly toward the latter.
If it weren’t for Amalia’s powerful attack that severely wounded the Black Titanoviper, Kenny Lin might not have been able to finish it off.
