Chapter 360: Angry (Part 2)

The flame in Wealth’s eyes that has been extinguished were lift up instantly.

It hopped onto Amalia’s body, and trying to please her by hugging her thigh.

It knew that its owner was the best person in the world.

Amalia flicked it away with a finger, and thinking to herself: Such a young age, and it already knows how to flatter others!

"What about you, will you come with me?" Amalia asked Kenny Lin after dealing with her son.

Kenny Lin’s cold eyes flashed, "When did I say I would go to the central disaster zone with you?"

Amalia chuckled inwardly, finding his response longer than necessary and insincere.

She retorted, "Because you like me, right?"

Kenny Lin remained composed, but his ears immediately turned red.

Even the back of his neck that was hidden beneath his clothes, flushed with crimson color.

"Saying such things, don’t you feel ashamed?"

"I don’t feel ashamed. If two people like each other, why should there be any shame?"

Amalia teased, "If you were the you from when you had amnesia, you would have jumped at me already."

The blood drained from Kenny Lin’s ears and neck in an instant, and he coldly replied, "Then you go find him."

With that, he turned and walked away.

"Eh?" Amalia was a little bit bewildered.

What’s wrong with him again?

He’s been acting strange lately, suddenly changing his demeanor during conversations.

Did what she said just now upset him?

Amalia pondered for a moment.

She hadn’t mentioned about his mother at all, nor had she brought up about the milk candy.

It seemed this guy becoming more and more unpredictable.

"Is your dad acting weird lately? Is he angry just now?" Amalia stroked Wealth’s ears.

Wealth blinked its eyes.

How would I know? I can barely stand him.

If it weren’t for his suggestion, you wouldn’t have almost left me behind for the central disaster zone, and I wouldn’t have been deprived from my favorite barbecue.

Amalia thought it wouldn’t be good to let him stay angry like this, so she decided to go over and check on him.

The door was closed, but it wasn’t locked, so it opened it easily.

When she saw Kenny Lin standing in front of the window, emitting a cold aura, and the pressure in the room seemed to drop, even his silhouette seemed to say, ’I’m angry right now, don’t provoke me.’

If she didn’t want to provoke him, Amalia worried he might stay upset for a long time.

He had indeed been acting strange lately.

"What’s wrong with you?" she asked as she walked up behind him.

She following his gaze to look outside the window.

She saw in the backyard of the villa, there was only wild grass that has been grown wildly, unchecked due to no one had taken care of them.

Kenny Lin didn’t respond.

Amalia asked again, "What happened just now? Weren’t we getting along fine?"

It felt like an eternity had passed before Kenny Lin slowly turned his head, his expression cold and indifferent, calm yet inscrutable, but his eyes seemed to burn with a fierce fire.

Amalia felt like her whole body was about to be on fire under his gaze, and this guy seemed even more displeased now.

She racked her brain, trying to remember what she might have done or said to make him upset.

After a while, with sweat dripping down her forehead, she glanced at Kenny Lin’s increasingly cold expression, and suddenly an idea flashed on her head.

"Is it because I only mentioned the good things about the you after you lost your memory? I was just joking, I didn’t mean to imply you weren’t good to me. In fact, you’ve been quite good to me."

Kenny Lin’s head snapped back, and the cold air around him instantly turned into a chilling coldness.

It’s wrong?

Wait, this doesn’t make sense, Amalia thought, feeling a headache was coming.

None of this was right.

This guy really good at creating problems for her.

She never been in a romantic relationship before, so she had no idea how to handle her boyfriend when they’re upset.

She had no experience in this area whatsoever.

"Um, you know, you’ve hardly ever tried my cooking. Even though you’ve reached this stage in cultivation and don’t need to worry about getting hungry, it’s still nice to enjoy food occasionally, right? How about I make a big dinner for you tonight?"

If this didn’t get a response out of him, she didn’t know what else to try.

Just as she was thinking this, Kenny Lin suddenly turned to her, his cold eyes fixed on her, and he finally spoke.

"Have you ever cooked a big dinner before?"

Amalia didn’t know what she had said that finally struck a chord with him, but she nodded immediately, "No, I haven’t. Usually, with cultivation and the trips to the disaster zone, as you know, spiritual cultivators don’t really focus on indulging their appetites. If it weren’t for Wealth liking the grilled meat I make, I wouldn’t be cooking so often."

"I see," Kenny Lin said, his gaze steady and serious.

Amalia nodded in agreement, "That’s right," she said, a hint of a smile crossing her eyes.

Although Kenny Lin didn’t say anything more, the cold air around him noticeably warmed up.

Either way, this was progress.

Apart from his storage items and the spirit meat in Soltice’s ring, she had nothing else to offer.

Amalia went out and bought a bunch of food, then came back and prepared a sumptuous dinner for him as promised.

Kenny Lin didn’t eat much, but it was clear that he was satisfied, although she wasn’t sure exactly what he was satisfied with.

Most of the food on the table were ended up in Wealth’s mouth.

It devouring them all as if it hadn’t tasted anything good in eight hundred years.

Amalia had to stop it from eating more, she was afraid that it would devour even the plates.
