Chapter 195: Top Student

Amalia tapped the table lightly, "Entering class 5 or class 4, you can still be together. It’s not impossible. I’ve observed everyone’s strength, overall the progress is good. Only a few of you who have slower progress, but class 4 and class 5 aren’t uniformly strong either."

Some people might focus more on academic subjects, leading to slightly weaker on their overall strength.

Mighel Zepeda’s eyes lit up, "Thanks, Amalia. I know what to do now."

Meanwhile, the news of Grace Rodriguez being taken away spread on the forum, which further tarnishing her reputation.

When Alex Rodriguez heard the news he rushed over immediately.

After he saw Grace Rodriguez disheveled appearance and acting crazy, he remained silent for a while.

"If you want to retaliate against Amalia, I do have a method, but it will also affect you," he finally spoke.

"What method?" Grace Rodriguez lifted her head abruptly, her eyes were filled with hatred.

"My reputation is already ruined. I’m willing to pay any price as long as I can retaliate against her!"

"Including the possibility of not being able to study at Heavenly Path University in the future?" Alex Rodriguez’s eyes flickered.

Grace Rodriguez hesitated for a moment, and a struggle flashed across her face, "Why wouldn’t I be able to study at Heavenly Path University?"

"Because this method might end up harming both parties..." Alex Rodriguez leaned in and whispered a few words in her ear.

Grace Rodriguez bit her nails.

It was deeply related to her reputation

Even though it was fabricated, Once it was stained, she wouldn’t be able to clean it up again in this life.

Everyone would looking at her with judgment.

More importantly, finding a well-off husband with good family background would become impossible.

"Brother, does it have to be this way? Can’t we think of another solution?" she resisted.

Alex Rodriguez sternly said, "Grace, with your current reputation, there would be no guy who would be willing to get close to you, and your talents aren’t outstanding either."

In short, her contributions weren’t that great.

Grace Rodriguez turned pale, and lowering her head slowly.

Just as Alex Rodriguez thought she wouldn’t agree, her brows furrowed.

She suddenly raised her head, and her eyes were gleaming with twisted determination, "Fine, I can agree, but Amalia must never rise again!"

"Don’t worry, this time she’ll be completely destroyed!" Alex Rodriguez was serious, everything was for the sake of the Rodriguez family in big apple city and his own future.

The next morning, before the rankings list for the first year at the artifact refining college were released, the AI Brain transmitted the students’ scores to the school instructors first.

After the instructors reviewed it and confirmed that there is no issues with the score, the AI Brain then released the rankings list.

On the day the rankings list came out, many students were crowded around the screens just to see who would be in the first place.

When the name of the first-place student appeared, except for a few who were disappointed, others student showed expressions of expected results.

Their speculations were correct – Rasler Yoder had been surpassed.

However, what surprised them was that Rasler Yoder’s overall score was two points lower than Amalia’s.

Looking further, for closely ranked positions, the score differences were within one point, with very few exceeding two points.

This could indicate that in at least one of the five tests, Amalia’s performance significantly outpaced Rasler Yoder’s.

Curiosity arose among the students about which test had such a notable difference in scores, but some remained skeptical.

"I don’t believe their gap is that big; there must be a mistake."

"Yes, Rasler Yoder’s overall ability has always been the highest, without a bias toward any specific subject. This overall score must be a mistake."

"The AI Brain says: I won’t take the blame for this."

"The scores were calculated by the central AI Brain. So, it cannot possibly be wrong."

Faced such undeniable fact, Rasler Yoder’s loyal fans couldn’t argue with other student anymore and they are reluctantly left, with their spirits dampened.

On the outskirts of the crowd, Alex Rodriguez watched this scene with an inexplicable expression.

A few moment later, he turned around and walked away.

At this point, Amalia has solidified his position as the number one student in the first year at the artifact refining college.

The most significant change brought about by this incident was that everyone who passed by would say hello to her.

"Amalia, congratulations on becoming the top student in your grade. You are truly well deserved."

After receiving numerous congratulations from her classmates, Amalia spoke her first words to a person claiming to be the vice president of the artificer club.

"I never said that I wanted to be the top student, nor do I have any interest in joining the artifact refining society. But, i would still say thank you for the invitation."

"Eh? That’s not what you have said? If it wa not from you, how did this rumor start then?" The vice president, who came on behalf of the club, was left dumbfounded by Amalia’s unexpected revelation.

"I don’t know."

Amalia then nodded lightly and walked away.

The vice president watched her leaving back with wide eyes, and he finally realize that Amalia had no reason to lie to him.

As she was already the top student in her grade, there was no need for hrr to deny it.

This indicated that she indeed not the one who have made such a statement.

Where did the rumor come from?

Being in the position of vice president wasn’t a role for the faint-hearted person.

The surprise on his face slowly transformed into a deeper meaning.

Involuntarily, the phrase "lifting a stone only to drop it on one’s foot" crossed his mind.

This was quite interesting.

He decided to share this information with the president and everyone else in the external relations department, except Rasler Yoder.

Sharing joy with others is better than enjoying it alone.

"Professor Frans, Dean Kirilova is back. He wants you to go to his office," the assistant reminded Professor Frans as he entered the office.

"I know. Give me the documents." Last time, as he was reminded by Professor Xander, Professor Frans intended to discuss about Amalia’s matter with Dean Kirilova.

However, Dean Kirilova happened to be out, and today was his return.

The assistant immediately handed him a set of documents – it was the score that was sent by the AI Brain.

Professor Frans glanced over them, and his gaze landing on the last test that was related to the pseudo-spiritual artifact.

He then chuckled, and said: "This kid hiding it quite well."

His office wasn’t far from the dean’s office, and it just a few steps away from him.

"After i come back, i heard from Herina that you were looking for me. What’s up?" Laurencia Kirilova was holding a pen, and just putting it back into the holder.

Herina Lazaro was his assistant, and after organizing the last document, she nodded to Professor Frans and left with the paperwork.

"Take a look at this." Professor Frans, as usual, got straight to the point, and placing Amalia’s test result in front of Dean Kirilova.

Laurencia Kirilova just took a glance at it and understood it immediately.

He smiled, and said: "I know this student. She has better grades than that younger one from the Yoder family. What’s the issue?"

"Of course, there is. With such a promising talent, keeping her in the weaponry departement would be a waste," Professor Frans said.

Laurencia Kirilova was surprised, "What weaponry departement? Isn’t she from the artifact refining college?"

Seeing his lack of knowledge, Professor Frans wasn’t surprised.

As the dean of the university, he couldn’t possibly spare the energy to focus on a first-year student artificer.

So, he briefly explained to him about the situation.

"I don’t know why she decided not to take a major in artifact refining college and went for weaponry departement instead. The fact that she can produce such a transcript indicates that he has a talent. We can’t let her talent go to waste in the weaponry departement."

"If she can tie with the black-clad opponent, her strength shouldn’t be that bad. So, It doesn’t seem like a waste," Laurencia Kirilova said with a smile.

Professor Frans frowned in disagreement, "I’m not joking."

Laurencia Kirilova waved his hand. "Alright, I get it. You want her to major in artifact refining, right? Are you planning to take her under your wing? Otherwise, she wouldn’t need to transfer departments."

Professor Frans sneered, "I’m willing, but she might not be. I actually think the dean is more suitable. Don’t tell me you don’t have this idea. The Yoder family’s attention is currently on the new disaster zone, and they can’t handle the matters here. But, i’m pretty sure they would began to make a move once they return from the new disaster zone."

"So, this was your intention. I didn’t expect you to have such a high expectation on her," Laurencia Kirilova chuckled.
