Chapter 155: Completely Eradicated (Part 1)
"Rasler, what if we just get someone to take care of these people?" Karina Wences’s expression turned fierce as she saw these people badmouthing about Yoder family.
"No need. Let them curse. The more vicious their words, the more evident their jealousy towards the Yoder family," Rasler Yoder remarked.
The online small fry didn’t merit any space in his mind.
Meanwhile, Amalia was currently at Master Dugu’s residence, and completely unaware of the turmoil on the forum.
Kenny Lin, for some reason, had tagged along this time, and Amalia didn’t refuse, allowing him to observe silently.
With previous experiences, Amalia and Master Dugu had developed a tacit understanding.
Amalia removed her clothes, revealing a fair body that was covered in bruises and marks.
Xylia Lazaro hadn’t found the instigators who occupied the A-level training room.
When they were questioned, they claimed it was their own idea.
He was very annoyed and ended up hitting one of them, but the next day, the situation remained the same.
Unable to assist Amalia, Xylia Lazaro felt embarrassed to face her and texted her about the situation.
Amalia reassured him it was fine, and then headed to the B-level training room.
She currently didn’t need a high-tech facilities for her training, so training in the B-level room was just as effective, with little difference.
For the past few days, she had been busy researching in the library, and forgot to buy medicinal herbs to heal her external injuries.
Master Dugu had already figured out the reason, and she still maintaining her demeanor, but it was the first time Kenny Lin had witnessed this.
"What happened to your injuries?" The room’s temperature dropped a few degrees.
Her once porcelain-like healthy skin was now marred with alarming shades of blue and purple.
Amalia recalled that Kenny Lin didn’t know about this, but what surprised her more was that he asked about it.
She thought he would remain indifferent throughout.
Amalia explained that it was from body strengthening exercises and had been happening for a while, nothing serious.
Kenny Lin didn’t say much more, and reverting to his usual cold demeanor.
Master Dugu initially intended for him to leave, but seeing his current condition, she vaguely guessed his identity and allowed him to stay.
The process of expelling the injuries was tedious.
Amalia usually endured it, but this time, the room suddenly had a third person.
This individual occasionally stared at her, and harboring unknown emotions.
Towards the end, Amalia couldn’t quite figure out what Kenny Lin was thinking.
There was one thing she pondered over and only he could help her with it.
"Do you have time this afternoon?"
"For what?" Kenny Lin’s thin lips lightly pursed, his angular features reflecting the same icy demeanor he exuded.
"I want to go to area A on the third floor of the library. Only second-year students and above are allowed in, and first-years need someone to accompany them," Amalia explained, afraid he might not be aware of these rules.
Kenny Lin gave a noncommittal "Mm," his handsome face still devoid of expression.
Unsure if his "Mm" was an acknowledgment or just an acknowledgment of understanding, Amalia assumed it was a yes.
An hour later, Master Dugu finished manipulating the energy and smiled.
"Congratulations, all the dispersing bone fragrance in your body has been completely eradicated."
Amalia paused, "But I thought it would take a month. It’s only been twenty days. How is it possible?"
"You’re still not happy, huh? You can thank the person who helped suppress the dispersing bone fragrance in your body. They always forced the dispersing bone fragrance to gather in one place, making it easier for me to treat it. Otherwise, it wouldn’t have been cleared this early," Master Dugu explained.
Amalia hesitated for a moment, and then looked lightly towards Kenny Lin. "Thank you, Master Dugu."
"Thank to that person. They also saved you over ten million," Master Dugu waved her hand.
Her treatments were calculated based on time; originally set for a month, now only taking twenty days.
She wouldn’t force someone to pay for the full month.
The wallet unexpectedly regained its plumpness, and Amalia couldn’t help but feel as if she had stumbled upon a stroke of luck.
After leaving Master Dugu’s residence, Kenny Lin then drove her back to school.
Kenny Lin’s car was not stopped at the school gate and went straight into the campus.
Before, Amalia had seen several cars attempting to enter the school, only to be stopped before breaking in.
Kenny Lin parked directly in front of the library.
At this time, most of students were still in class, and Amalia had also skipped a class at the weaponry departement.
The two of them arrived at the third floor of the library.
Upon seeing Kenny Lin the librarian old man didn’t say a word this time.
He just looked at Amalia with a bit of surprise, as if not expecting her to suddenly be associated with Heavenly Path University’s most outstanding student.
Kenny Lin then led Amalia into Area A.
The space in Area A was not large, but there weren’t as many books as outside; some were even kept in protective covers.
Amalia walked slowly, reading the introduction of each book, and choosing only the ones that interested her the most.
"Do you want to go to the disaster area?" Kenny Lin noticed the books she picked.
His eyebrows arching, and his slender sharp eyes following her every movements.
"Yeah, I want to make some preparations in the early stage and i will definitely go in the future," Amalia said without firm plans for what would follow.
"As a freshman, you don’t have many external resources," Kenny Lin paused, and looking directly into her eyes, "That’s a limitation within the school."
Amalia was struck by his words, and realizing he had thought along the same lines as her.
She nodded slightly, and said: "I understand."
After saying this, Kenny Lin walked away, and found a place to sit down.
His tall and straight figure resembled a pine tree; even when he sitting still, one could sense his intimidating aura.
Amalia remained silent and found a spot to start reading the books.
