Chapter 131: Moving Out

Youma Loera’s mind raced until a splatter of crimson color sprayed near him.

His pupils shrinking into dots, and gradually replaced by a mix of bewilderment and fear.

A severed head with spraying blood rolled over, and facing downward.

Sanchia Calderon’s expression frozen in the grip of death, his face remained filled with ferocity until his last moment.

They had planned to attack from east and west side, but before the plan could take effect, one was dead, and the others couldn’t survive.

Curling up amidst the foliage, Youma Loera hugged his legs tightly.

He could faintly heard Heriberto Cabrera’s terrified voice in the air, as if talking about the man’s prowess.

But before it could reach him, the scream soon vanished and dissipated into the air.

The man stood at the center of the blood-drenched chaos for a few seconds before starting to clean up.

He swiftly dismembered the monster, and taking the most precious parts.

As he prepared to leave, the man took two steps before turning back his body.

Youma Loera thought he’d been discovered, and his trembling teeth revealing his shock.

However, he observed the man also picking up belongings that belong to Heriberto Cabrera and the others.

Just as he was about to exhale in relief, the man’s snickering voice echoed in the air.

"Considering you didn’t emit any killing intent all this time, I’ll spare your life."

Youma Loera was instantly drenched in cold sweat.

He realized the man had actually been aware of his presence right from the start.

However, the man’s strength was so formidable. If he didn’t noticed his presence, Youma Loera might’ve doubted it.

Once the man departed, Youma Loera emerged, and cautiously approaching a pile of dismembered limbs.

The sight was very gruesome, each member’s expression frozen in death.

It sent shivers down his spine, and while fighting his nausea, he swiftly retrieved a few storage items the man hadn’t taken and hurriedly left the area.

Shortly after he left, the blood-soaked marshland that was bearing traces everywhere, gradually collapsed.

In just a few minutes, all traces of the remains vanished, and leaving the ground refreshed.

...

The feeling of witnessing her cultivation draining away was something Amalia would never want to experience for a third time.

Fortunately, due to Master Dugu’s help in clearing the dispersing bone fragrance from her arms, her cultivation didn’t decline as rapidly as it did at the first time.

Half an hour was both short and long. It finally concluded as the villa’s door opened.

Kenny Lin walked in against the sunset that make him looked like a walking golden sun.

Amalia immediately pinched her nose for a second and without pausing disgustedly said, "Why do you smell so bad?"

"Oh i’m sorry baby, I forgot to use the purifying amulet," Kenny Lin slapped his forehead and promptly used a amulet on himself, quickly dispelling the foul odor.

When he was getting closer, Amalia look into his eyes, "What’s wrong with your eyes? Don’t tell me you’re wearing two different colored contact lenses today."

"You even noticed that," Kenny Lin sighed.

He then took out two storage items and tossed them over, "Take a look at the goodies I brought for you."

Amalia didn’t reach for them, and she still looking on his eyes as though witnessing something novel, "What’s with your eyes? Don’t keep making excuses. Why are they getting redder each time i see it?"

"Well, since you asked, I’ll tell you the truth," Kenny Lin’s expression turned serious and earnest.

The sudden solemn atmosphere made Amalia slightly uncomfortable.

"Oh, it’s just because I ran out of milk candies."

A baffling discomfort engulfed Amalia.

She took a deep breath, and said: "Don’t tell me you were crying because there were no milk candies."

"Yeah, yeah!" Kenny Lin nodded enthusiastically.

"You’re such a crybaby," Amalia scooped up the two storage items that was thrown at her and hurled them back at him with force.

Dodging her attack, Kenny Lin approached her from behind, placing his hands on Amalia’s shoulders, and then leaning closer to her ear.

"Alright, alright, let’s get started okay. Quickly take your clothes off. I’m all set."

Unable to outmaneuver him, Amalia yielded once more. She scratched her itchy ear, and gently pushed him back, while removing all her upper garments.

Kenny Lin placed his hands on Amalia’s fair and smooth shoulders.

After that he looked like lost in thought, and doesn’t make any move.

"What’s wrong?" Amalia turned her head in surprise.

Her anger had surged quickly but then dissipated just as fast as it comes; she wasn’t mad at Kenny Lin anymore.

"Amali, have you ever noticed that your tolerance toward me has been increasing?" Kenny Lin gazed at her with his red eyes that was filled with deep affection.

Amalia was taken aback; it seemed like the first time he’d heard Kenny Lin call her name seriously.

"I still remember the first time I saw you in the supermarket. You had this icy expression, and earnestly wiping a can of milk powder with a cloth. At that moment, I wondered what kind of circumstances that compelled you to do something you didn’t like," Kenny Lin spoke as if confessing his feelings.

If this was a confession, Amalia didn’t fancy this way of confessing.

Forcing herself due to circumstances... such a terrible imagination.

"Later, you started to stick around me. Was it because I gave you two packs of milk candies?" Amalia guessed; she always felt that excuse was too lame.

Kenny Lin, with a ’don’t you dare say that’ expression, confidently replied, "What if I really say yes? What do you think?"

"Do you think I’m that foolish?" Amalia calmly retorted.

"Of course not. My girlfriend is the smartest girl on Earth, even smarter than me," Kenny Lin added, "I’m speaking the truth."

Amalia glanced at him deeply, "So, are you saying you genuinely stuck around me because of two packs of milk candies? And your eyes turn redder because you’re out of milk to drink?"

Kenny Lin happily nodded, "You’re really clever! Just add the word ’sugar’ after ’milk’ next time."

Amalia felt like she was dealing with a madman and decided to ignore it, "Let’s get started."

"Sure thing! I’ll start right away," Kenny Lin obliged eagerly.

This was the only time Amalia wasn’t provoked by Kenny Lin.

As she left the villa, she glanced back at the silent house, and furrowing her brows tightly.

Although Kenny Lin always joked, this time, she found herself oddly believing his nonsense.

If what he said was true, then perhaps the matter regarding milk candies could be understood this way.

At first, Kenny Lin stuck around her, possibly thinking that she had good luck and she was someone who had milk candies to share with him.

Later, she discovering it wasn’t the case, he became interested because of her revealed artifact refining abilities and strength.

Until now, with he had finished eating all of his milk candies, his eyes turned red.

However, running out of milk candies might not be the sole trigger for his red eyes.

There might be other additional conditions, which she hadn’t figured out yet.

So, what was Kenny Lin’s real connection to milk candies?

Amalia felt it couldn’t be something special within the milk candies.

The only explanation could be that Kenny Lin had some psychological attachment to the milk candies, and serving it as a psychological comfort, but that’s on the premise that he wasn’t lying.
