Chapter 126: Repairing Xylia Lazaro artifact
Amalia repaired the man’s artifact problem on the spot.
Because of this, those who initially thought she was just someone who seeking for attention believed in her true abilities after witnessing her skills firsthand.
The man, happily touching his whip that was now restored, paid her promptly and left, while expressing gratitude.
"Just fix this for me too," another man said as the first one left, and placing an artifact on Amalia’s table with such speed that caught her off guard.
Amalia looked up at the newcomer, it was another man that she hadn’t seen before.
If Amalia watch the confrontation between the man in front of her and Sebastian Caceres before she would know that this man was Xylia Lazaro.
Looking at the artifact placed on her table, Amalia directly snapped it into two pieces, and raising an eyebrow.
"Aren’t you the one claiming you can repair anything here? Can this artifact of mine still be repaired? If not, it doesn’t matter; I’m just asking," Xylia Lazaro asked with a smile.
His friend who is standing behind him sighed, feeling exasperated.
Are you here to help or to pick a fight and ruin someone’s reputation?
Xylia Lazaro hadn’t witnessed Amalia’s skill when she repairing the previous man’s artifact; he just happened to pass by, and recognized this girl who opened the stall is the same girl who mocked Sebastian Caceres before.
He saw there is a few people around her, but no one dare to approaching her.
He thought her business was so poor that no one was willing to go to her. He remember he still have a completely broken artifact in his hand, and that’s why he stepped forward.
He had approached numerous artificers for this artifact, even some senior ones, and none of them could guarantee a complete repair.
It had been sitting in his storage for quite some time.
Initially, Xylia Lazaro intended to help increase Amalia’s popularity without much thought, only to realize it wasn’t quite appropriate to ask her to repair his completely broken artifact.
He want to rectify it, but it was too late.
His friend, worried he might say something else wrong, so he quickly pulled him over, "Are you here to help her or harm her? Please, just don’t say anything more. Even senior artificers couldn’t repair it; do you think a junior from the artifact refining college can do it?"
Both of them were unaware that Amalia wasa student from the weaponry departement.
Xylia Lazaro suddenly froze, he seemed to have done a good deed inadvertently.
"Is this artifact very important to you?" Amalia looked at the broken pieces, which most people would have discarded by now.
The fact that he still kept this broken pieces indicating its significance to him.
When she suddenly spoke, it’s catching both of them off guard.
Xylia Lazaro paused, and looking at the two broken pieces of the artifact with a complex expression.
"I understand," Amalia said.
"What do you understand?" Xylia Lazaro asked.
Amalia didn’t respond but said, "This artifact is severely damaged. I’ll need some time, and I’ll have to find materials elsewhere. If you’re not in a hurry, I’ll contact you when it’s repaired."
Xylia Lazaro and his friend’s minds seemed to slow down as if a gear had been shifted, and it took them a while to utter a hesitant sentence, "You... really can repair it?"
"What’s this?" Amalia gestured toward her signboard.
"Repair anything, or we compensate," Xylia Lazaro blinked.
Amalia nodded. "Give me your contact information, and I’ll message you when it’s done."
Xylia Lazaro immediately provided her with his contact details.
"Wait," his friend suddenly exclaimed.
After some eye gestures to a confused Xylia Lazaro, she said to Amalia, "Hey Beauty, what’s your name, what year are you, which college, which class? We’re quite free these days; you don’t have to bother. We’ll come to pick it up ourselves."
When Xylia Lazaro heard his friend bombarded Amalia with that four questions, he finally realized he was trying to prevent any potential issues with Amalia.
"Amalia, first year, weaponry departement, Class 9," Amalia confidently disclosed her information, and oblivious to how terrifying the next two sentences would be in this situation.
Both Xylia Lazaro and his friend’s eyes almost bulged out upon hearing it, and they exclaimed in unison, "You’re from Class 9 of the weaponry departement!"
"No, wait, a student from the weaponry departement? Why would you repair artifacts?" Xylia Lazaro’s friend wore a ’I’m well-read, don’t try to fool me’ expression.
"Is there a rule that an artificers can’t go to the weaponry departement?" Amalia countered.
"Not really," Xylia Lazaro hurriedly said, "Can you really repair my artifact?"
"If you don’t trust me, you can take it back. Just pretend this never happened," Amalia said nonchalantly.
"No, no, I trust you," despite his shock, Xylia Lazaro felt that Amalia wasn’t someone who like to joke about such matters.
This time, his friend didn’t say anything.
Amalia then packed up and prepared to leave.
"Wait, isn’t there one more repair chance?" someone from the onlookers, who had been observing for a while, urgently stopped Amalia.
Both Xylia Lazaro and his friend were bewildered by the sudden turn of events.
"I’m closing early today, no more chances," Amalia said calmly.
The person looked regretful, "Then when will you come tomorrow?"
"I have classes tomorrow, it depends," Amalia mentioned the optional classes at the weaponry departement for the next day, indicating uncertainty, then left.
"Senior, is Amalia famous? Why did you come to her for repair your artifact?" Xylia Lazaro couldn’t contain his curiosity.
The person glanced at him, and she realize that this guy might have caused her last opportunity to repair her artifact to slip away.
However out of consideration as this guy was look quiet handsome, she responded, "Whether famous or not, I only know she has a skilled hand in repairing artifacts."
"Oh, I see..." The two exchanged glances, and realizing their mistake.
Amalia wasn’t lacking business; It’s just they didn’t knowa about ut, which make it very awkward.
In the evening, Amalia went to the villa to find Kenny Lin.
The talk about breaking the villa that day is just a joke.
Kenny Lin entered her information right in front of her and granted her access to enter and leave the villa anytime.
He also mentioned that if she ever needed assistance next time, she just need to send him a message, and he would quickly arrive on time.
Not too early, and not too late.
Kenny Lin appeared promptly tonight as well.
As soon as Amalia saw him, an expression of surprise couldn’t help but show on her face, "What’s wrong with your eyes?"
Kenny Lin touched his eyes and grinned, "Can’t you tell that I’m wearing colored contacts?"
"Do you think there’s a sign on my forehead that says ’idiot’?" Amalia replied, while cast strange gaze toward him.
"How could that be? You’ve always been the smartest girlfriend in my heart. I admire your intelligence so much," seizing every opportunity, Kenny Lin managed to sneak in a declaration.
"Stop being so talkative. You still had smell of blood all over your body. Did you go out to kill someone?" It was faint, but Amalia could still detect it.
"Your nose is very sharp, worthy being my girlfriend’s," Kenny Lin applauded joyfully.
Despite he have traveling for four hours and any odor having dissipated by then, he was amazed that Amalia could still smell it.
Praising her for her dog nose ability wouldn’t be an overstatement.
Amalia had three black lines sliding down on her forehead.
It was pointless to argue with him.
She clearly didn’t want to answer any further, so he said: "Let’s begin."
"Wait a minute, first, take off your clothes," Kenny Lin used a purification amulet on himself, eliminating the dusty scent, and then turned around to find Amalia had already removed her top with her back facing him.
Her fair skin stretched taut over her faint defined muscles, the smooth lines extending downward, and disappearing between her two perky buttocks.
However, that wasn’t the focal point.
From Kenny Lin’s viewpoint, he could still see the two big fruit on her chest that was hanging in the air as if waiting to be picked up by him.
"My girlfriend’s physique is really getting better and better everyday," Kenny Lin exclaimed emotionally.
"Even the color her pink cherry fruit is so lovely."
Amalia couldn’t bear to hear it anymore, she then raising her elbow, and aimed at his waist, showing no mercy in her fierce and murderous intent.
Fortunately, Kenny Lin reacted quickly, or perhaps was prepared early on, blocking her with his hand, and complained, "Too cruel! If you had pierced my kidney, your future happiness would’ve been ruined."
"You’re getting carried away with your act?" Amalia was furious, and wishing she could glare him to death.
Looking down at Amalia, who was shorter than him after sitting down, Kenny Lin’s eyes bore an unusual, sharp, and metallic coldness.
The sight was both pleasing and a bit unsettling. He chuckled lightly, "Alright, I won’t tease you anymore. Let’s get started. You sit properly and be careful not to twist your neck."
Amalia couldn’t do anything about him.
This bastard seemed born just to tease her.
Each time, she couldn’t contain her temper, and itching to give him a piece of her mind.
Unfortunately, with her pride, she couldn’t flirt back like he did to her.
"I’ll give you one final warning: stop flirting with me, or you’ll face the consequences!" Amalia warned solemnly, her tone was very serious.
"Whoa, am I actually flirting with you?" Kenny Lin appeared surprised.
