Chapter 123: Garcia Perez (Part 2)
"Amalia? She’s so unlucky to drawn by Garcia Perez. Judging by her posture, she’s going to make an intense demonstration against class 9," remarked the classmate who had spoken to Amalia earlier, and relieved it wasn’t his name but he still slightly displeased.
At that moment, Amalia who was standing next to him walked out.
"Eh, what are you doing..." The word ’doing’ was cut off as the student stared her in shock.
"No way, he’s Amalia? When did Amalia... become so beautiful?"
Many in class 9 shared the same thought.
Handsome and beautiful individuals tend to leave a lasting impression.
They all just recognized this beautiful girl as the weakling Amalia.
"You’re Amalia?" Garcia Perez eyed her disdainfully, and not hiding her contempt.
To Garcia Perez, Amalia is no different from someone who try to seduce Sebastian Caceres with her beautiful face.
However, Amalia remained silent, and just looking at her.
With a sneer, Garcia Perez said, "Today, I’ll smash your face. So, Prepare yourself. Besides, I’ll make it clear: stay away from Sebastian in the future."
"Ease up, this isn’t a life-or-death match," reminded class 7’s instructor casually.
"Don’t worry, Instructor. I know my limits; I won’t kill her," Garcia Perez laughed heartily.
The students from class 7 erupted in laughter.
"It’s Garcia Perez, but don’t beat that girl to death."
"Just play around; don’t get too serious. Just knock her around a bit," another fanatic of Sebastian Caceres chimed.
She was not as strong as Garcia Perez, so she reluctantly let her take the opportunity, and feeling somewhat annoyed.
The instructor Waldo from class 9 sighed and pulled Amalia aside, "It seems Garcia Perez won’t hold back. Remember to protect your vital spots. In the future, steer clear of her and don’t give her any excuses."
"Don’t worry; I’ll be fine," Amalia assured, and appreciating the genuine concern shown from him.
"Go on," Instructor Waldo simply thought he already reassuring Amalia, and patting his shoulder.
Amalia walked to the center of the field.
Garcia Perez had been impatiently waiting for her.
As students from the weaponry departement, they didn’t always use artifacts in every match.
Facing class 9, students from class 7 were quite arrogant, and believing they could defeat them without exerting their full strength.
However, its still quite a few people who were willing to fight barehanded.
And Garcia Perez was one of them.
She had no intention of using artifacts, she want to relying solely on her punches and kicks, a method that could turn someone into a mess.
In Amalia’s eyes, she possibly accustomed to using artifacts, the speed wasn’t impressive, and the moves were filled with flaws, though her footing was slightly better.
Swiftly analyzing the opponent’s weak points, Amalia’s figure began to moved in response.
Garcia Perez threw a punch toward Amalia’s face, and intending to mess up her beautiful face.
The attack looked very fierce, making some girls cover their faces in fear.
However, the next moment, the fist unexpectedly missed the attack.
Amalia is more faster than her, and s moved to the left side.
Without experiencing it firsthand, it’s hard to perceive that feeling of knowing the opponent’s fist is coming but not being able to dodge due to delayed body response.
Garcia Perez was furious.
A dull thud echoed.
Before the situation ended, a dozen more punches followed, each punch landing heavily, and gradually silencing the entire arena.
Everyone stared in disbelief, and witnessing an incredible scene before their eyes.
Contrary to their expectations, it wasn’t Garcia Perez pummeling Amalia into a mess; it was the other way around.
Under Amalia’s rapid fists, Garcia Perez had no way to counterattack.
Her face visibly began to swelled at a noticeable speed.
The facade of class 7, known for their strength, was being utterly defeated by someone relatively unknown from class 9.
If it were told by someone, who would believe it?
If they hadn’t witnessed it themselves, they wouldn’t believe Garcia Perez had actually lost to someone from class 9.
The one-sided beatdown lasted only ten seconds.
After ten seconds, Amalia stopped.
Garcia Perez collapsed on the ground, her face was unrecognizable, only the rise and fall of her chest that indicating she was still alive.
"The first match of class 9 against class 7, class 9 wins!" shouted class 9’s instructor excitedly.
"Wow!!!"
"Ahh, Garcia Perez lost!"
"Amalia won!"
"Amalia is amazing, encore, encore!"
"..."
The excited voices of class 9’s students instantly overturned the roof of the arena.
The people from class 7 were all green-faced.
Shortly after, Garcia Perez was helped down by people and probably wouldn’t appear in public for a while.
Perhaps spurred by Amalia, the other students from class 9 were began to fired up, and no longer as passive as before.
They are act as if they had gone crazy, and it frightened class 7’s students, who ended up in an awkward situation.
In reality, they were just a class apart, not three or four classes.
Strictly speaking, the strength of class 9 and class 7 wasn’t significantly different.
When they put in effort, the results were unpredictable.
It was just that the students from class 9 had grown accustomed to being lazy, which led them to being underestimated by other classes.
This was the most pleasing time for Instructor Waldo.
He thought his class would always be like this in the future, but seeing them began to taking things seriously, each one with such spirited resolve, made him reconsider not giving up on them too soon.
This time, the credit went to Amalia.
The instructor glanced toward Amalia, that was leaning against the wall.
In fact, he had recognized Amalia yesterday but he was a little surprised by the change in her, though he hadn’t dwelled on it much.
He didn’t expect to see such a huge surprise today.
During these two months of vacation, Amalia probably hadn’t lowered her high standards for herself.
Looking at his class of students, when they were serious, even the strongest in class 7, Garcia Perez, wasn’t a match.
Could this mean others could also achieve the same?
The instructor’s eyes that was resembling those of a predatory wolf, scrutinized his students.
Many students who felt his gaze shivered, and feeling a sudden chill down their spine, wondering if someone was plotting against them.
Though class 9 lost more in this match, it ended with a disastrous defeat for class 7.
They walked out with faces resembling pig heads and disappeared instantly, afraid of being seen by students from other classes.
If other classes found out they were defeated by class 9, that stigma would never be wash away.
