Chapter 1184: The First Strike

"Then just send down a 10,000-strong mecha army. These humans won’t be able to put up a fight anyway."

The aliens on the battleship laughed heartily. Soon, they received orders from above to make a quick decision.

They decided to send 50,000 mecha troops down.

The Cosmorite Mechas, like locusts, were dropped from several battleship.

All of them deployed except for the larger battleships that remained idle.

Just then, a tremendous noise erupted.

It came from the bottom of one of the battleship, which began to tilt to one side slowly.

The aliens aboard the ship were shocked and furious, initially thinking someone on board had made a mistake.

They quickly instructed their subordinates to investigate the situation, only to find that a huge hole had been blown through the bottom of the battleship.

"Look, what’s that?"

The screen immediately focused on a black dot suspended in the air.

When they zoomed in, they realized it was a human holding a gleaming knife in his right hand, shimmering with an unnatural glow.

Before they could even react in shock, the human raised the knife and swung it forcefully.

A barrage of blade lights shot out, flying toward the Cosmorite Mechas behind.

One by one, two, three—each mecha struck by the blades accelerated mid-air, crashing straight into the ground, and within moments, these mechas were reduced to nothing but scrap metal.

The humans on the ground were stunned.

After a two-second pause, Duviel immediately reacted, shouting orders for everyone to attack.

The battle cries erupted.

Some of the aliens who had survived the fall were just emerging from their cockpits, only to find their heads separated from their bodies.

The soldiers who had killed the aliens couldn’t believe how easily they had defeated such a formidable enemy.

They stood there dumbfounded for a few seconds before it fully sank in.

Even the soldiers who hadn’t received Amalia’s treasures felt a surge of strength.

For some reason, they felt invincible.

Normally, they would be pushed back by the aliens, but now, they could counterattack with ease.

Some were so strong that they tore apart the remains of the alien mechas, pulling out the near-dead aliens and killing them without hesitation.

This unexpected turn of events shocked not only the humans but also the alien high command.

Their 50,000 Cosmorite mechas hadn’t even made contact, yet they were already in such a devastating state.

Amalia glanced at the ground.

While others couldn’t see it, the surface of Planet Teutonia was glowing faintly in her eyes.

These lights gathered toward the great formation and kept entering the bodies of the humans at the center of the formation, almost as though they were transforming them.

These lights were the spiritual energy of Planet Teutonia.

Before attacking the planet, Amalia had noticed that the spiritual energy here was stronger than any planet she had ever encountered.

Afterward, she asked Wealth about it and learned that Planet Teutonia was an advanced planet.

Unlike the human classification of planets, the aliens defined an advanced planet based on its spiritual energy concentration.

Planet Teutonia had an abundant supply, which allowed it to bestow Amalia with so much life force.

Amalia wasn’t sure if this plan would succeed.

She only wanted to test it.

These humans couldn’t possibly rely on her protection forever, so she gave them a chance.

And as it turned out, some had indeed seized the opportunity, like those people who are holding her artifacts.

She didn’t blindly give these artifacts to anyone; they were only given to those more suitable.

Behind the many battleship, the enormous space battleship—larger than any of the others—displayed Amalia’s face on a massive screen.

"Without relying on any technology, floating in the air by their own ability... this is undoubtedly the work of a cultivator."

Prince Ceodore stared at Amalia’s flawless face on the screen, magnified hundreds of times, a hint of greed in his eyes.

The civilization of the higher-dimensional universe was far superior to that of the lower dimensions, but there were still limitations.

For example, they couldn’t freely float in the air like this human cultivator.

This was also why the aliens, who had always looked down on the weak humans, regarded cultivators differently, even wanting to win them over.

Powerful strength was the foundation of everything.

Cultivators had strength, which gave them the right to stand on equal footing with the aliens.

Humans were weak and insignificant, and thus were meant to be controlled.

This wasn’t the first time Gren had seen a cultivator.

The Draconis Empire had a few, and during previous wars, those cultivators had appeared.

While they were strong, they hadn’t yet reached the point where they were truly feared.

If they had, the Draconis Empire would have already defeated them, driven them out of the Erythar Star System, and taken control.

Yet, those cultivators, as powerful as they were, couldn’t do what this human cultivator was doing—flying freely in the air.

"Your Highness, this human seems incredibly strong. We’ve received no news from Nemel. Could he already be dead?" Gren couldn’t help but ask.

They had tried contacting Nemel several times, but there had been no response.

He had already suspected something was wrong.

Now, seeing this human cultivator, he was even more convinced.

"And also, didn’t we hear that Planet Teutonia was occupied by Aelra’s battleship? Yet there are only humans here. Could our intel be wrong?"

Gren had a bad feeling in his heart.

He hoped it wasn’t true, but now it seemed there was a 90% chance it was.

Ceodore didn’t respond to either question but suddenly asked Gren, "What do you think the chances are of this human joining our side?"

Gren paused for a moment, quickly realizing the prince’s intentions.

There was a lot of infighting among the aliens, and without enough leverage, they would fall behind in the battle for supremacy in the Andromeda Universe, potentially being swallowed by other forces.

That was why the prince was interested in Aelra’s battleship.
