Chapter 1116: The Alien Command

They didn’t hesitate to run.

They had been utterly terrified by the beast puppets.

They were so overwhelmingly strong that their defenses couldn’t even be breached—how could they fight?

In less than ten minutes, the once-massive army of ten thousand had dwindled to less than half.

"I’m going to take a look," Kenny Lin said before flying into the sky.

He glanced at Lorrik, who was still falling, and casually unleashed a wave of sword energy.

Lorrik didn’t see the attack coming but noticed Kenny Lin defying gravity, flying effortlessly into the air.

He didn’t have much time to process this marvel before the sword energy pierced through his head.

When his body hit the ground, it sent up a massive plume of dust, several stories high.

Moments later, Kenny Lin arrived beneath the spaceship, his presence unnoticed by the alien Mechas retreating toward it.

They were so focused on fleeing that they failed to see an even deadlier enemy awaiting them ahead.

Vast waves of sword energy cascaded down as they approached, cutting through them mercilessly.

Within less than half an hour, the unprecedented battle had come to an end.

"Come up here and take a look. From the outside, this spaceship looks small, but it’s surprisingly spacious inside," Kenny Lin called out to Amalia.

"It’s about over. Clean up the battlefield and see if there’s anything useful," Amalia instructed, leaving a few beast puppets stationed on the ground as she flew up to join Kenny Lin.

By now, no one was shocked to see her defying gravity and soaring into the air.

They had grown numb to such feats.

Khalil silently began organizing everyone to clean up the battlefield.

They had once been frontline soldiers, but now they had been reduced to logistics personnel.

In times of peace, few would willingly choose to be in logistics.

The opportunities to earn merit and advance were far scarcer than on the frontlines.

Yet, at this moment, they embraced the role with enthusiasm.

While they were clearing the battlefield, the alien mothership received a desperate and unbelievable distress signal.

Before long, the top leaders of the alien forces gathered in a spacious conference room.

"A very unusual event has occurred over the past two days, which necessitated this meeting. I’ll get straight to the point."

The speaker is a middle-aged alien with a square face and exuded a cold and arrogant demeanor.

Whether speaking or silent, his commanding presence was undeniable.

He bore a striking resemblance to humans but was significantly taller and more imposing.

"The planet Shadron has shown abnormal activity. We’ve received two consecutive distress signals..."

"Distress signals? Humans are calling us for help?" The man with the hooked nose on the right sneered, as if he found the idea amusing.

"That joke isn’t funny in the slightest," another alien across from him said, his expression stern.

"I find it hilarious. We dominate the Andromeda Universe; who could possibly oppose us? Surely, it couldn’t be one of our own calling for help," the hooked-nose man scoffed.

"You’ve guessed right. Both distress signals were sent by our people," the middle-aged man’s icy voice interrupted.

It wasn’t just the hooked-nose man—everyone present displayed expressions of surprise.

The middle-aged man played the two distress signals. "The first was from a group of a few dozen who went to Shadron; none of them returned. The second came from a Mecha squad, which was also completely annihilated. They managed to send out a distress signal before losing contact. The third time, it was the large mech squadron unit led by Lorrik."

"The first signal contained only fragmented words, indicating the situation was dire. They didn’t have time to provide more details before meeting their end. The second group was larger, giving them a bit more time to send us additional information."

"Five strange Mechas?" The hooked-nose man squinted. "With Andromeda Universe’s technology, I wouldn’t even need a Cosmorite Mecha to deal with them. I could tear them apart barehanded. Even if they’ve made some advancements, they could never surpass our Cosmorite Mechas."

"And yet, it has happened," the middle-aged man said, tapping the table lightly. "Five Mechas wiped out our army of ten thousand. This situation demands serious attention."

"What’s your plan?" asked the alien commander on the left.

"We will mobilize all our forces to Shadron. We must eliminate any potential threat in its infancy," the middle-aged commander declared, his gaze cold and decisive.

"Mobilize all forces? Does that mean recalling troops from other planets as well? Is that necessary?" The room was filled with astonishment.

The middle-aged commander didn’t hesitate. "It’s necessary. I need to understand what these five Mechas are, whether their technology surpasses ours, and whether they are superior to the Cosmorite Mechas."

The hooked-nose man’s eyes flickered. "If they truly surpass Cosmorite Mechas, and we manage to acquire this technology for ourselves..."

He didn’t finish his sentence, but the knowing expressions on the other senior leaders made his meaning clear.

The order was swiftly issued.

At the same time, all aliens mech squadron, whether large or small, received the order.

On other planets near Lumora, a shocking and bewildering scenes unfolded as well.

The aliens stationed there began withdrawing their forces.

On Gaia, which is farther from Lumora, countless residents ran outside and saw the sky filled with the dense army of alien mechas.

They thought the aliens were about to attack their planet.

After a while, they realized that the alien mecha army wasn’t there to attack them, but was retreating.

In less than half an hour, the army of tens of thousands had completely withdrawn, along with the spaceship that had been hovering in outer space threatening them.

"Why did the alien army suddenly retreat?" a Major General muttered to himself.

The others were just as confused as him, they did not understand what the aliens were up to.

The same situation occurred on several planets such as Astralis and Krythos.

No one could figure out what had happened.
