However, the situation at the Ye Family residence was causing an even bigger headache.

Zheng Cai stormed back to the Ye residence. Ye Shilong was already home, and Ye Tong had also been discharged from the hospital. Seeing her return, Ye Tong immediately rushed over and warmly took her arm. "Mom, you’re back."

Hearing her daughter’s gentle voice, the knot of anger in Zheng Cai’s chest loosened slightly.

After bottling up her anger for two days, Zheng Cai finally exploded, ranting incoherently.

Ye Yuning replied, "A Passat."

Ye Yuning said, "He mentioned that if I don’t want to do housework, we can hire a housekeeper."

"I’m suing him! A direct divorce!" Right now, all Tang Xi wanted was a divorce, no matter the cost.

Ye Yuning nodded. "A divorce would be for the best." She was well aware of Tang Xi’s situation with that family; the marriage had been nothing but a huge burden. And if something was a burden, it needed to be eliminated.

Tang Xi then asked, "And what about you...?"

"He doesn’t know my actual circumstances at the moment, and I don’t intend to tell him yet. We’ll see how things go first."

"You haven’t told him? What do you mean by that?" Tang Xi was completely baffled.

Ye Yuning explained, "I told him I don’t own a house or a car, and that I’m just an odd-job worker earning eight thousand a month."
