The two of them entered together.

Xiao Linye put his things down and went to his room.

Ye Yuning took out all the items to categorize them, putting what needed refrigeration into the fridge and storing the rest.

Just as she finished organizing, Xiao Linye came out of his room, glanced at the tidy kitchen, and asked, "Is everything put away?"

"Yes, I was just familiarizing myself with everything."

Her earnestness brought a hint of softness to Xiao Linye’s eyes.

Looking at the vegetables she had placed on the counter, he smiled. "You want to eat these tonight?"

"I’ve been eating a lot of meat these past few days, so I feel like having some vegetables," Ye Yuning said.

She didn’t mention that because she had eaten too much grilled fish at noon, she felt overheated in the afternoon and now had a slight toothache.

Xiao Linye nodded. "Go and wash up."

"Okay."

Ye Yuning didn’t vie with Xiao Linye for kitchen duties.

She went back to her room and took a bath.

Seeing that those people were almost desperate, she picked up her phone and answered it, "Hello."

Compared to the urgency on the other end of the line, her demeanor was indeed leisurely.

Zheng Cai had been stifling her frustration for a long time and now wished she could unload it all on Ye Yuning, but she didn’t dare.

She could only suppress her anger and ask, "Where are you? Let’s talk!"

The moment her words fell, the breathing on the other end of the line hitched.

She had never been interested in red wine and simply went to the fridge and grabbed a yogurt.
