'Tower of Myths huh… I wonder what kind of fights I'll get to have there,' he said thoughtfully.

[They will be interesting for sure, Master! (≧∇≦)/]

He chuckled and nodded in agreement. 'Yes, for now I should focus on learning these spells.'

Saying that, Orion shifted his focus back to the Fire Apprentice Spellbook in front of him, gently flipping through its beautifully detailed pages until he found the section dedicated to the three new spells he intended to master: Flame Dart, Cinder Trail, and Searing Touch.

The soft glow of the mana lamps illuminated the graceful runic script and intricate diagrams.

His finger traced the intricate quill lines as he focused first on Flame Dart, his eyes capturing every nuance written carefully beneath the vivid illustration:

Flame Dart

Description:

Launches a narrow, high-velocity flame projectile designed for piercing precision. Ideal for mid-range engagements.

Tier: 1

Primary Runes Used:

[Fire] – Core elemental force of flame.

[Sharpen] – Focuses and refines the flame into a narrow dart for piercing power.

[Launch] – Propels the spell forward in a swift, linear path.

Effect:

A fast, dart-like flame is shot forward, able to pierce through soft defenses and weak barriers with speed. It burns on contact, leaving small localized ignition.

Orion continued to read the Mana Circuit Framework and the Runic Inscriptions before gently nodding to himself, taking note of the new runes he would need to master—[Sharpen] and [Launch].

'Welp, time to take out the Runic Codex.' Smiling lightly to himself, he took out the Runic Codex and opened the page for the first rune—[Sharpen].

He analyzed the intricate lines detailing the rune, then dipped his quill lightly into the mana-infused ink and began drawing on the parchment with focus.

After several careful iterations, he managed to make a decent rune, and before the sixth attempt passed, he had brought it up to the same standard as the rest of his runes.

Next was the [Launch] rune. He flipped the pages and analyzed it again. Soon after, he learned it to his standard as well.

Satisfied with his progress, he turned his focus back to the Fire Apprentice Spellbook.

'Nice, my learning speed with runes is improving after learning the previous ones. Now, let's see what this spell has to offer.'

[Hehe, Master too OP! ヽ(o^▽^o)ノ]

Smiling lightly, he analyzed the spell, studying all the layers and learning the mana circuits. After making sure he remembered all the details, he began practicing it on parchment.

After multiple attempts, the parchment finally glowed softly with faint orange hues, confirming his success.

"Flame Dart completed," Orion murmured contentedly, pleased with his increasing speed.

[One down already! You're really flying tonight, Master!

Orion chuckled quietly, encouraged by Lumi's enthusiasm. He turned his focus next to Cinder Trail:

Cinder Trail

Description:

Each step taken by the caster leaves behind scorching embers, creating a trail of damaging flame underfoot. Effective for zone control and pursuit deterrence.

Tier: 1

Primary Runes Used:

[Fire] – Generates the burning embers.

[Sustain] – Keeps the flame active with each step.

[Flow] – Directs the mana to continuously flow along the path the caster walks.

'[Sustain] and [Flow], huh…' Orion murmured thoughtfully, studying the new runes closely.

'This spell will only help against wild beasts though. Against humans, it's pretty much useless. But it might prove useful in unexpected situations if I don't already pass to the next tier.' He inwardly chuckled while flipping the Runic Codex to locate the runes.

He learned the runes shortly before practicing the spell on the parchment. After several attempts, Cinder Trail's spell appeared clearly on his parchment, gently radiating a faint crimson glow—another indication of success.

Orion smiled softly. "Second spell down."

[You're unstoppable, Master! This one's gonna be super handy for quick escapes if you're being chased by a large group. ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ]

He chuckled, 'I don't have plans to make enemies with a large group—at least not until I'm stronger,' he said while finally moving to Searing Touch:

Searing Touch

Description:

The caster's hand becomes enveloped in intense flame, burning anything it directly touches. Ideal for close combat or grappling enemies.

Tier: 1

Primary Runes Used:

[Fire] – Core flame component.

[Ignite] – Activates the burning effect upon contact.

[Strength] – Increases the physical force of the spell, enhancing both the burn and melee impact.

He didn't waste time and quickly began learning the runes before starting to practice the spell.

Soon, he successfully combined these runes as well, forming the complete Searing Touch spell. The parchment glowed intensely with a faint reddish-orange hue before settling down, signifying a successful formation.

"Finally…" Orion exhaled quietly, his tone satisfied and content. He leaned back in his chair, stretching slightly.

[Wow, Master! Three new spells in one night—you're absolutely amazing! (≧◡≦) ♡]

Orion chuckled softly, closing the spellbook and rune book gently before tidying up the parchments from the ground. He didn't want to leave a mess again.

'Well, one more thing to do before I sleep today,' he said, looking at the darkened sky outside as it was already quite late.

Standing up from his desk, he stretched, feeling a pleasant tension release from his shoulders and back. A faint, satisfied smile lingered on his lips as he reflected on his productive evening.

Turning around, Orion moved to the soft, circular meditation mat positioned in the room's center. He settled down calmly, folding his legs comfortably beneath him and closing his eyes. He inhaled deeply, the cool night air filling his lungs and calming his thoughts.

"Alright, time to engrave these spells," he murmured softly, calming his mind and delving inward into the tranquil sea within him—the Sea of Consciousness.

His consciousness drifted gently into his inner space, a vast and boundless azure realm. At one corner lay his brightly glowing Fire Affinity Rune, the nine intricately inscribed Primary Runes pulsating softly with gentle, rhythmic waves of mana.

Nearby floated the gentle, warm sphere of Fire elemental energy, its gentle heat bathing everything in a soothing golden-red glow.

He approached carefully, floating gently in his mental avatar form, coming to a stop near the newly formed Fireball spell engraved earlier. Orion carefully recalled the precise rune patterns for Flame Dart, visualizing each detail vividly.

Starting with the [Fire] rune, he etched it carefully, its glowing lines manifesting gracefully within his consciousness. Next came the [Sharpen] rune, refined strokes forming with confident clarity, followed by the precise [Launch] rune, completing the sequence.

Orion then carefully connected the Primary Runes with mana circuits as detailed in the book before writing down the Runic Inscription.

The spell glowed brightly momentarily, then stabilized, confirming its successful engraving. Orion smiled inwardly, relieved.

"One down," he murmured gently within his Sea of Consciousness. Turning his attention next to Cinder Trail, he recalled the intricate mana structure he'd practiced earlier.

Once again, Orion carefully engraved each rune—first [Fire], then [Sustain], followed swiftly by [Flow], each rune illuminating gently as it settled into place, forming a harmonious sequence.

The engraved spell formation emitted a soft red pulse, shimmering faintly before stabilizing into permanence within his inner sea. Orion exhaled quietly, satisfied.

Finally, he directed his attention toward Searing Touch. Carefully visualizing the runes, Orion etched them one by one.

He formed the [Fire] rune first, followed immediately by [Ignite], and then the [Strength] rune before forming the mana circuits and then the Runic Inscriptions. The spell formation quickly solidified, emitting a bright, intense flare before fading gently into stability.
