First Legendary Dragon: Starting With The Limitless System -
Chapter 151: Verdant Harmony
Arya was particularly animated, gesturing vividly as she spoke, her clear laughter floating gently on the morning breeze. Emilia listened quietly, her expression composed yet attentive, occasionally nodding and replying gently as Arya's enthusiastic chatter continued.
Noticing Orion's approach, Arya turned her head, a bright smile instantly lighting up her features. "Brother Orion! Good morning!" she greeted him warmly, waving cheerfully.
Emilia raised her head as well, her usually calm eyes observing him and the sword strapped to his waist calmly. She nodded toward him in greeting.
"Morning, Arya, Emilia." Orion greeted back warmly, joining them beside the bench. He settled comfortably, leaning slightly against the bench as he glanced curiously between the two. "You two seem quite energetic today. Did I miss something interesting?"
Arya giggled, shaking her head slightly. "Not really. Emilia was just telling me about the Thunder Elemental Class we'll be attending today. Apparently, Instructor Thalia, who is teaching today, is quite popular among the Thunder affinity students."
Orion raised an eyebrow in mild surprise and interest. "Instructor Thalia, huh? I haven't heard much about her yet."
Arya smiled knowingly, leaning forward slightly as if sharing a secret. "Well, Brother Orion, that's because you rarely ask about teachers or classes. You're always focused on attending classes and then leaving right after. Honestly, you're missing out on some really good instructors."
Orion chuckled lightly, scratching his cheek. "Haha, I suppose you're right. I guess I should pay more attention to more instructors and classes."
Arya playfully rolled her eyes, shaking her head gently. "At least now you know! Anyway, Emilia and I will attend Instructor Thalia's Thunder Elemental Theory class today. It's called 'Thunder Element Fundamentals'. It should be exciting."
Orion nodded thoughtfully, clearly interested in the class despite not having Thunder as his primary element for public view.
Still, he considered attending briefly before dismissing the thought. He already knew that he could learn it from his Grandfather, and attending Thunder Elemental class so early without attending other classes might raise questions.
Instead, he calmly smiled, thinking of a different path. "Thunder Element Fundamentals does sound interesting, but since you two are attending that, I might head to the Wood Elemental class instead. I need to learn a second tier soon anyways and it wouldn't hurt to understand it better."
Arya's eyes flashed with understanding. "Wood Elemental Class huh? Hmm, it's good to understand the next element that you want to learn. Learning about the nature and other things of the said element will help you during the Affinity Rune forging process as well."
Orion nodded his head in agreement. "Yes, and Wood Element has many supportive and versatile applications. It could be useful for our club in the future."
Arya nodded softly, her expression thoughtful. "Indeed, Wood affinity is quite good for versatility and supportive skills. I read in some books before that those proficient in Wood Element can influence an entire battlefield and it's decent even in healing injuries."
Orion shook his head with a chuckle. "Yes, but Light Element is always better at healing than Wood."
Arya laughed lightly, shaking her head. "Of course it is. Well then, good luck with your Wood class. Do tell us if you find something particularly interesting."
Orion nodded, smiling warmly at the two of them as he rose slowly from the bench. "Definitely. You two enjoy Instructor Thalia's class—I'll meet you both afterward."
Arya waved gently as Orion turned away, Emilia giving a gentle nod as well.
"See you later, Brother Orion," Arya called cheerfully.
Orion waved lightly over his shoulder, walking calmly after exiting the lecture hall along the path as he headed toward the designated hall for Wood Elemental Studies.
With light steps and a thoughtful expression, he mentally reviewed what little he already knew about the instructor of today's class.
From the academy's general curriculum schedule he had browsed previously, Orion remembered that today's Wood Element class would be taught by Instructor Lysandra, a well-known figure among Wood affinity users for her profound understanding of the Wood element's versatile nature.

Orion continued along the elegant corridor leading to the hall designated for "Verdant Harmony: Basics of Wood Elemental." The passageway was unlike most others within the academy, distinctively decorated with carvings of lush greenery and detailed floral motifs.
'Does the academy prioritize Wood Element? Or do all Elemental Classes get the same treatment?' he wondered.
As Orion approached the entrance of the classroom, he noticed several students gathering near the large wooden double doors, chatting in low, excited voices.
He gently maneuvered through the small crowd, stepping inside with a curious glance around the interior. Immediately, the room felt welcoming, designed specifically to help with the nature-oriented teachings of the Wood element.
The walls were constructed from polished wood panels, with small niches housing potted plants and climbing ivy, adding vibrant splashes of green.
Large windows lined one side of the classroom, allowing natural sunlight to stream warmly through, illuminating the neatly arranged desks.
Most students had yet to arrive, providing Orion ample choice for seating. His gaze settled on the front row, where only a single student was seated—Felira Norwyn, one of the top-ranked first-year students.
Felira was ranked eighth among their freshman batch, and Orion had noticed her calm and gentle nature during the orientation. Her presence seemed to exude a calming aura filled with gentleness of nature––befitting her status as one of the top prodigies of their year as well as a wood and water elemental user.
Felira raised her head, noticing Orion's approach. Her pale green eyes looked at him calmly with mild curiosity. Her long, honey-brown hair cascaded neatly down her back, complementing the rich, earthy colors of her academy uniform.
As Orion reached the first-row seat beside her, she offered a polite nod in greeting, her expression calm and composed.
"Good morning, Orion," Felira greeted gently, her voice clear and soothing. "I was wondering when you would take this class."
Orion settled into the seat, returning her greeting with a gentle smile of his own. "Good morning, Felira. I took this class as soon as I could. I want to learn the Wood Element quickly for its versatility."
Felira's lips curled into a subtle smile, appreciating his straightforwardness. "A wise choice. The Wood Element offers much more than people assume. Its various uses can surprise even seasoned mages."
Orion nodded thoughtfully, appreciating her words. "Indeed. Supportive and healing capabilities aside, I'm particularly intrigued by its tactical uses."
Felira tilted her head slightly, interest flickering in her eyes. "Precisely. Controlling terrain, establishing defenses, or even setting up traps—the possibilities are vast and often overlooked."
Their brief exchange paused as more students entered, quickly filling the classroom. Soon, every seat was occupied, and a soft buzz of excitement rippled among the students.
Moments later, the classroom doors opened gently once more, and Instructor Lysandra gracefully stepped inside, instantly drawing everyone's attention.
Instructor Lysandra was a striking figure. Her elegant emerald-green robes fluttered gently around her as she walked to the front, her movements as fluid and natural as the leaves in the breeze.
She had lustrous green hair, woven through with tiny white blossoms. Her eyes, deep as fresh spring grass, looked at the students warmly as she greeted them with a gentle, melodic voice.
