By the time he came out, Jian Yufei was already sleeping comfortably under the covers.

“Go freshen up, then come eat,” Jian Yufei said with a smile, sitting at the dining table.

His voice had a nasal quality; Jian Yufei asked with concern, “Caught a cold?”

Ruan Tianling rubbed his brow, “It’s nothing, just a bit.”

Jian Yufei stood up and walked over to him, placing her hand on his forehead; his temperature seemed normal.

“I’ll go buy some cold medicine in a bit,” she told him.

Ruan Tianling stood up and kissed her lips, “No need, it’s just a small cold, it’ll be better soon.”
