But Ann Nolan had not expected to encounter the man who had helped her at Grandfather Santos’s home.

She parked her car on the open ground outside the villa, and coincidentally, she immediately noticed a Ferrari nearby.

The Ferrari was a limited edition, very expensive and conspicuous, which Ann Nolan remembered seeing just once before.

He was old and not in good health, and really shouldn’t have to worry about things anymore.

“Grandfather!” Ann Nolan called out, carrying a gift.

Grandfather Santos and Zachary Santos turned their heads together!

In that moment, Ann Nolan stopped in her tracks, her gaze fixed on Zachary Santos’s face.

There was no mistake… he was the man who had helped her before.

His features were handsome and refined.

“Ann has arrived. I was just talking to Zachary about her,” Grandfather Santos mused, “I said it’s been a few days since Ann had been here, almost… half a month? Or twenty days?”

“Half a month,” Ann Nolan said apologetically.

Her eyes still rested on the man’s face, not moving away!

Ann Nolan suddenly felt disoriented, her mind blanked for a moment, it was as if something was sparkling before her eyes.

“Why stand there? Come over here,” Grandfather Santos stood up. “I don’t know if you know each other, let me introduce you. I bet you don’t know each other since Zachary didn’t come back when Ann and Zaiden got married.”

Zachary Santos’s gaze also landed on Ann Nolan, who was not wearing her black and white work outfit today but had changed into a fresh and elegant light green dress.

Her black hair was tied up, and sparkling diamond earrings dangled from her ears.

Without her work’s seriousness and severity, she looked like a completely different person.

The surrounding flowers lost their color in comparison.

Ann Nolan walked towards them on her high heels.

“Zachary, this is Ann, Ann Nolan, your sister-in-law,” Grandfather Santos spoke slowly and firmly, “Ann, this is Zachary, Zaiden’s brother. You’re all family, no need to be formal. It’s quite a coincidence that we’re all here today.”

Zachary Santos smiled slightly at Ann Nolan in a very gentlemanly manner.

Ann Nolan was somewhat shocked, not expecting him to be Zaiden Santos’s brother, his half-brother from another mother.

She knew Zachary Santos had grown up abroad and seldom returned to the country, and when he did, it was to visit Grandfather Santos.
