The five creatures soon noticed Mo Yan and dashed over at a speed so fast that the human eye could not distinguish their forms, leaving only trails of afterimages in their wake.

Just as the five creatures were about to pounce on Mo Yan, they hit something invisible about a foot away from her, sending out a thunderous ’thud’ as their inertia caused their massive bodies to tumble over.

"Xue Tuanzi, you’re being naughty again!" Mo Yan reached out her hand to feel in front of her, and sure enough, there was an unseen barrier, prompting her to say helplessly to the leisurely floating Xue Tuanzi.

Facing its owner’s reproach, Xue Tuanzi huffed discontentedly and said with righteous indignation, "I’ve trained you all for so many days, and yet you could still run straight into it. This only shows how utterly stupid these few idiots are, how can you blame me?"

By this time, the five creatures had climbed up from the ground and upon hearing Xue Tuanzi’s words, their five pairs of distinctive large eyes filled with defiance: Every time you set up a barrier without giving a shout, how can they possibly react in time with such a short distance and such strong inertia? Even if they had a hundred legs, it wouldn’t be enough.

How could Xue Tuanzi not see through the thoughts of the five creatures? Being scolded like this in front of Mo Yan, the five creatures felt so ashamed they wished they could crawl into a hole. But Xue Tuanzi’s teasing and threats were effective in curbing the smug attitudes that had been growing due to their rapidly increasing power. They obediently lowered their proudly raised tails.

This scene, reminiscent of an old teacher scolding unruly students, was one Mo Yan had seen many times, yet it still felt fresh every time. Just picturing the enormous creatures shrinking before the palm-sized Xue Tuanzi was a visual shock that could bring someone joy for a long time.

Mo Yan knew that despite Xue Tuanzi’s dismissive attitude towards the five creatures, and its joy in bullying them, it was fond of them. Since she, their master, could not stay in Space all day to keep it company, the five creatures were like a beacon of light in its lonely and long life, lively and warm, adding much delight to its existence.

Seeing Mo Yan laughing heartily, Xue Tuanzi’s tense nerves gradually relaxed as well. Knowing everything happening outside of Space, it was really worried that its master, in a fit of unhappiness, might call Red Python to gather a gang and deal with the Chens. That would truly be a headache.

Once the master started down that path, if she encountered such matters again, it might not be possible to stop even if she wanted to!
