Despite having Space to rely on, seeing their cautious behavior made Mo Yan worry unconsciously. This trip into the mountain was specifically for something that the four beasts had found with great difficulty. If they really encountered unforeseeable dangers, even though their lives may not be at risk, it seemed the object would be unattainable.

Fortunately, the journey had so far been stable. The greatest crisis encountered was a few herds of wild boar searching for food, and several brightly colored snakes. They hadn’t stumbled upon any ferocious predators such as tigers or wolves. With three beasts and the Red Python there, whether it was wild boars or snakes, they would consciously avoid them, not daring to approach.

The untouched deep mountain was not an easy path, even with the Red Python clearing the way and the stick brushing aside thorns and underbrush. It was unclear how they communicated, but ultimately, the Red Python, with its large body and tough skin—capable of easily parting the thorny underbrush—wrapped her with its long tail and took the lead, protecting her at the front.

Without Mo Yan "slowing them down," the four beasts quickened their pace, and after about an hour, they arrived at the base of a large mountain and halted.

Compared to the surrounding towering peaks, the mountain before them was not particularly tall, but lush vegetation densely covered the entire mountain, making it appear dark, deep, and enigmatically silent.

Seeing how alert the four beasts were as they stared at the mountainside, not daring to relax, Mo Yan knew they had arrived. But what exactly was there that made them so wary? The Red Python hissed for quite some time, yet no stir came from the forest, nor could they see even one bird in flight, as if there were no living creatures inside.

Just as Mo Yan thought this, suddenly her vision blurred, and a wild beast, entirely black and a size smaller than Dabai, yet resembling a cat, shot out of the jungle like lightning, landing a good four or five yards away. Its deep blue, piercing eyes looked past the four beasts in front and fixed directly on her.
