Watching Lixiu’s frail figure, Mo Yan sighed deeply. After a long while, she left the house to visit the Wu family, telling them about Liyu being Si Nier.

The Wu’s had previously considered adopting Liyu, but since Liyu was inseparable from Lixiu, they gave up on the idea. However, Wu’s treated Liyu as if she were indeed Si Nier, making several sets of clothes and socks for her, and often sending over delicious food.
