Chapter 67: Bath [M]

Chapter 67: Bath [M]

Noelle stands in front of the large mirror, the soft glow of the evening light casting a warm hue across his skin as he undoes the intricate buttons of his outfit. I can’t help but admire the way the fabric clings to his frame, the elegant lines of his posture so naturally perfect. He’s always graceful, even in the simplest of movements.

I drop my jacket and the rest of my upper garments onto the floor, too eager to be rid of them. The moment the clothes hit the ground, Noelle turns and fixes me with that familiar look—disapproving but affectionate.

"Really?" he says, his eyes doing all the scolding for him.

I grin sheepishly, bending down to retrieve the discarded clothes. "Alright, alright. I’ll behave."

Noelle rolls his eyes but steps toward me, his fingers already moving to undo the complicated pins and accessories that are more trouble than they’re worth. "Let me help," he says softly, his touch as deft as ever. His hands glide across my skin as he unfastens everything with ease, and all the while, I can’t tear my eyes away from him.

He’s beautiful. His long lashes, the way the soft curls of his hair fall loose around his face, the light in his eyes when he’s focused on something. I don’t think I’ll ever get used to it.

"Don’t stare at me like that," he murmurs with a smile, catching me in the act.

"It’s impossible not to," I reply, my voice low. He shakes his head but turns back to the mirror to finish undressing, his movements calm and deliberate.

I can’t resist. I walk up behind him, my gaze tracing the elegant line of his back. His long hair is swept up in a complicated half-up style, leaving the nape of his neck and shoulders exposed. My fingers follow the curve of his spine, trailing softly down his skin.

"What’s with you?" Noelle asks, laughing softly as my fingers continue their gentle exploration.

"You’re so beautiful," I murmur, my voice filled with a reverence I rarely express aloud. "And honestly, this outfit—it was something else. You should’ve seen the eyes on you all night."

Noelle snorts, dismissing my words with a wave of his hand. "Please. It was the novelty of being your husband. That’s all."

But he doesn’t know. My beloved has no idea just how beautiful he truly is, how he turns heads everywhere we go, how every room seems to quiet just a bit when he walks in. It’s fortunate, and yet, somehow, it’s a little unfortunate too.

We’re both submerged in the steaming water of the tub, with Noelle resting against me, his back flush against my chest. His eyes are closed, his expression peaceful, almost serene, and seeing him like that calms me too. My hand rests on his lower belly, drawing lazy circles in the hot water, feeling his breathing slow and even.

It’s intimate, almost too perfect. The warmth, his skin against mine, the quiet moments we rarely get to share. My fingers continue to trace those gentle circles across his abdomen, dipping lower, teasing the edge of something more.

Noelle shifts slightly, eyes still closed. "What’s that?" he murmurs, his voice soft but knowing.

I feign innocence, though we both know he’s already caught on. "I don’t know what you’re talking about."

His lips twitch into a smirk, not opening his eyes but pressing his back more firmly against me, clearly feeling the hardness that’s now poking him. How could I not be aroused, with him so close, so exposed, his body so warm and inviting?

"Is that so?" he says, his voice teasing as he wiggles his hips, pressing back against my erection. The pressure sends a jolt of need through me, and I find myself adjusting, allowing him more room to settle in against me.

My hand moves lower, drifting from his stomach to his cock, already hard and leaking. I can’t help but smirk. "Well, well, well, what do we have here?" I tease, my lips brushing the shell of his ear.

"Hmmm... I don’t know..." Noelle responds, twisting slightly in my arms, his playful tone driving me wild.

I lean forward, trying to kiss the side of his neck, but the angle is wrong. I sigh softly, giving in to the need to see more of him. "Come on, my beloved star. Face me."

In one swift motion, Noelle moves, water splashing over the sides of the tub as he turns to straddle me. His green eyes lock onto mine, and the look he gives me—filled with lust, affection, and a primal need—sets my blood on fire. It’s like we haven’t done this in weeks, though we were tangled together just this morning.

His hands slide up my chest to my neck as he leans in, brushing his lips against mine. When he bites my bottom lip, I feel a surge of desire crash through me, like a dam breaking. The smell of his pheromones, thick and intoxicating, fills the air, making it nearly impossible to think about anything but him.

I grab his waist, pulling him closer, water splashing over the tub as our bodies collide. His mouth is on mine again, our kisses fierce, urgent. My hands slide down to his ass, pulling him harder against me until our erections press together, the friction sending sparks of pleasure through both of us.

"That... feels amazing..." Noelle breathes out, his voice shaky as he starts grinding against me, the friction intensifying with every movement. I grip him tighter, lost in the sensation of his body against mine, in the way he makes me feel.

I kiss him again, more desperate this time, needing to taste him, to feel him. The scent of his pheromones is dizzying, driving me mad with need. "You drive me insane, my star," I groan against his lips before pulling him in for another kiss, deeper and more frantic.

His breathing grows heavier, his hips moving more erratically against mine as we both chase that inevitable release. Water sloshes around us, spilling over the edge of the tub as we move together, a mess of wet skin, tangled limbs, and hurried kisses.

Noelle trembles first, his body shuddering against me as he lets out a quiet moan, his release spilling between us. The sight of him falling apart in my arms sends me over the edge, and I follow, my release crashing through me with a force that leaves me breathless.

For a moment, we’re both still, his head resting on my shoulder, our breathing heavy and uneven.

Then, Noelle lifts his head slightly, his lips brushing my ear. "Are you still capable of getting it up?" he teases, his voice soft but challenging.

I don’t bother answering. Instead, I stand up in one fluid motion, water streaming off our bodies as I lift him effortlessly into my arms. Noelle wraps his legs around my waist, his arms around my neck, clinging to me as I carry him. My left knee protests, a sharp twinge of pain shooting through it, but I ignore it. Pain is the furthest thing from my mind right now.
