"As expected, you’re here," a strong feminine voice sounded on Shentu Chu’s ears.

Shentu Chu turned around, coming face to face with his elder sister, Shentu Ling.

"Good morning, sister!" He greeted her happily. Why does it seem like he was expecting her?

"You’re having fun with a girl when you should be attending the meeting?" The clear displeasure was evident in her eyes when she looked at him.

Without the CEO present, how can the board of directors conduct their meeting?

"What’s wrong with having fun? I need to rest after working so hard," Shentu Chu smiled at his sister, watching Qiao Nian playing with rabbits from the corners of his eyes.

They were standing in a mini pet zoo. How had Shentu Ling found him, Shentu Chu already know. Ever since he became the CEO, his life was no longer peaceful as before.

Everyday, there was someone following him, paparazzi trying to snap photos of him, even his own family members were spying on him.

"All work no play makes Jack a dull boy," Shentu Ling walked around Shentu Chu as if she was an eagle circling a prey.

"What a nice dreamy life," Shentu Ling sighed and looked at the sky, she had stopped circling him.

Shentu Chu also raised his chin to look at the sky. He couldn’t tell what she was thinking of really feeling. Shentu Ling looked expressionless.

"Before dreams are nightmares. Shentu Chu said.

"Before dreamy skies are stormy seas. By the way, sister, how are things going? I heard you want to officially join the Shentu group?"

"Don’t call me, sister," Shentu Ling was very straightforward, ignoring his question.

"Why?"

"Didn’t father already kicked you out of the family?"

"He did. But I’ve been calling all of you sister and brother for many years. I’m used to it," Shentu Chu shrugged.

"You’re right. When you are too used to someone, you tend to overlook the things they do," Shentu Ling gazed at the girl laughing and running after the rabbits in the distance. This girl looks a little familiar, she thought.

"Actually, I came here because of this," Shentu Ling handed a file to him, exuding an air of a businesswoman.

"What is this?" Shentu Chu stared at it dumbly.

"Open it and you’ll know," she didn’t show any extra emotions, rather it seemed like she was pleased that he asked. A trap?

So Shentu Chu opened it and saw the words, TRANSFER OF SHARES. Below were the names, ’Shentu Jing and Shentu Chu’, and a stated amount of how much the shares were worth.

Shentu Chu glanced at it casually, no emotions in those slightly upturned eyes.

Shentu Jing had transferred his shares to him before the day he died in the plane crash.

Finally, Shentu Chu found out why was she here. All of Shentu Jing’s shares went to Shentu Chu which made him the largest shareholder. No wonder everyone thought that it was him who killed Shentu Jing. Because he was the one who benefitted more.

The only question was, how did he made Shentu Jing transfer those shares to him. Threaten? Bribery? It was impossible. The Shentu family knew Shentu Jing’s character well.

Shentu Chu only raised and eyebrow, then closed the file and handed it back to her.

"So?"

"What I want to say is, Jiang Zhaoling is already investigating you. I’m sure you already know that. Whatever the results of her investigation would be, I only hope you don’t bring down the entire Shentu Group. Shentu Chu, be careful. Your tracks might not be covered by gold,"

He could sense the threatening tone in her voice as she turned and left. Shentu Chu watched his sister’s figure fade No wonder those directors could support him without hesitation. It was because they knew that he might be having Shentu Jing’s shares.

"Who is she?" Qiao Nian came to his side, cuddling a rabbit in her arms.

"My sister," he replied.

"Your sister?! Why did she came here?" Qiao Nian, alarmed, looked up at him.

"To greet me good morning, of course!"

Qiao Nian frowned, obviously not believing i his words. From far away, she could sense the hostile energy that woman carried with her. Who would come all the way just to greet their brother good morning?

"What a cutie. It’s as cute as you!" Shentu Chu took the rabbit from her arms and cuddled it.

Qiao Nian couldn’t help but blush. Is he flirting with her again? What does he always do that?

"What’s wrong?" Shentu Chu bend down to look at her flushed face.

"It’s n...nothing," she quickly turned away to avoid his eyes. That pair of slightly upturned eyes were capable of making her nervous.

It was hard to admit, but Qiao Nian found his eyes enchanting at some point.

Suddenly a hand pinched her small chin and forced her to look up at those eyes. Qiao Nian shivered from his touch. Why was his fingers so cold?

"Nian Nian," he breathed.

"Yes?" The girl was confused as well as scared. Was he going to assault her? He said that he was a pervert but with principles, right?

Originally, she followed him because of the curiousity to know more about his life. She wanted to know what kind of person her fiancé really was. But after spending some time with him, so many things didn’t add up.

She even checked his entire house except for that locked room, but found nothing. No naked pictures, no illegal sex tapes, no magazines of women, not even a condom...

Qiao Nian only found a picture of a small boy with a small girl.

"Are you hungry?" He suddenly asked.

As they walked out of the exit, a camera flashed in the bushes.
