Qin Zhuzhu realized she was all alone in this round. The model she had previously called and agreed to work with her suddenly ignored her and blocked her!

The other models she reached out to all scolded her and made excuses, claiming they were too busy.

She looked around; there was no one to help her. She would just have to rely on herself!

The new dress she had made was difficult to wear. The zipper at the back was hard for her to reach on her own. Nevertheless, Qin Zhuzhu decided to become the model and wear the dress herself!

All the other candidates had hired top models with amazing figures and beautiful faces. Qin Zhuzhu looked at her own waist.

Not bad, she thought as she looked at her figure in the mirror. She slipped into the dress.

A shadow walked into the dressing room, silent and quieter than a mouse. He stood behind her, watching her struggle with the zipper. The elegant curve of her back was revealed. He was tempted to touch her smooth, fair skin but refrained.

"Don’t move," the voice was cold and icy.

Qin Zhuzhu froze on the spot, suspicion creeping in.

There was someone here the whole time? Did he see her naked?! Qin Zhuzhu could only lament how unlucky she was.

She silently reached out and grabbed her phone, her thumb hovering over Sanya’s number.

"Who are you?" she asked cautiously. She was facing the wall, so she couldn’t see him, but she felt his strong, suffocating aura.

"I’m here to help you," the man answered. He reached down to her back, his gloved fingertips gently brushing her lower back as he took the zipper between his fingers.

Qin Zhuzhu shivered. That touch... somehow, it felt strange yet warm.

"What are y-you doing?" she trembled slightly.

"Helping you. You have only 15 minutes," he replied.

"Who sent you? Bai Qianhua?" Qin Zhuzhu forced her fear down and tried to get some answers out of him.

The man felt like a block of ice standing behind her. He brought with him a coldness, yet there was also that strange warmth she had felt earlier. Who is he?

"Bai Qianhua? Who?" The man successfully zipped her up.

She glanced sideways at the mirror to her right. She could see the man’s figure, but only half of it. He was wearing a black mask that resembled a masquerade mask.

Suddenly, Qin Zhuzhu turned around and reached for his mask, but the man grabbed her wrist and pinned her against the wall!

Her back slammed against the wall, and she yelped.

Their eyes met...

His were dark and dangerous, but there was something else in them. Something...

The man pinched her chin with his gloved fingers. She winced and narrowed her eyes.

"What tricks are you playing, little girl? Don’t mess with me!" He pinned both her hands above her head and growled.

Qin Zhuzhu took a deep breath to calm her racing heart.

"I need to be careful, right? Who knows if you’re a criminal sent by Bai Qianhua to harm me again?" She chuckled to ease the tension.

The air shifted. The room felt as if it had been buried in snow. The man leaned closer to her face. Qin Zhuzhu got a good look at his mask. It was delicate and exquisite—not an ordinary one.

His sharp nose and lips were the only visible parts of his face.

"If you dare to remove my mask, I will kill you. Do you understand?" he warned, his murderous aura radiating.

Qin Zhuzhu swallowed, goosebumps crawling up her spine. She nodded.

"Close your eyes," he instructed.

"What?"

"Do it!" he hissed.

Qin Zhuzhu quickly shut her eyes tightly. What is he going to do to me? Her heart raced, and she nervously licked her lips.

Soon, she felt his grip on her wrists loosen. Then, the suffocating presence subsided.

The next moment she opened her eyes, he was gone. She looked around frantically. There was no sign of him. It was as if he had never been there at all.

The manager walked in. "Miss Qin, it’s your turn!"

He stopped in his tracks when he saw the gorgeous, stunning woman in a beautiful dress before him.

"Uh... Where’s Miss Qin?" he asked, looking around. The model was here, but where was the designer?

"I’m Miss Qin," Qin Zhuzhu said, stepping forward.

This is Miss Qin Zhuzhu? The manager couldn’t believe his eyes! She was more gorgeous than he had imagined!

"Manager, did you see anyone leave the room just now?" Qin Zhuzhu asked politely, though she was a little flustered.

"No. Is something wrong?"

"No. Thank you, Manager. I’ll go now," Qin Zhuzhu said, her heart was pounding wildly in her throat.

Outside, in the main hall of the hotel, the stage was designed like a runway. Many models wore the clothes designed by the candidates and strutted down the stage.

The judges would give points to the best design. Bai Qianhua was pleased with her design. The top model made her dress look unique and extremely beautiful! Luckily she had taken a trip to the saloon and spa, and gotten her hair and nails done.

She had the highest score out of all the candidates. However, some of the models who walked on stage suddenly had wardrobe malfunctions!

Because of that, many candidates were eliminated!

"How did this happen? I clearly double-checked, and there was nothing wrong!" one candidate said, feeling defeated.

"How did the zipper break? I remember using high-quality materials!" another cried.

For some strange reason, it seemed like a ghost was sabotaging their designs at the last minute. When the models wore the clothes and walked on stage, it looked like they had wardrobe malfunctions.

"Next up, Qin Zhuzhu!" the announcer boomed.

Li Shao sat up in his seat, hoping to catch sight of his first love.

Bai Qianhua snickered. How is that bitch Qin going to deal with it this time? Her dress has already been sabotaged!
