Chapter 341: Chapter 340 Respected Princess, Don’t … Force Me Chapter 341: Chapter 340 Respected Princess, Don’t … Force Me Inside the door.
Richard looked at Rose.
Rose, with a tense face, swallowed and plucked up the courage to say, “This is my… my last warning to you, don’t try to do anything to me, or you…”
“Don’t misunderstand,” Richard interrupted Rose, “I pulled you in here just to ask you for a favor.”
“Huh? A favor?”
“Yes, a favor. The Kingdom of Black Holy Mountain where you’re from, it’s a remnant of the Black Spirit Empire, right?” Richard asked.
“Yeah, what about it?” Rose still asked in a guarded tone after hearing Richard’s words.
“Since that’s the case, you should be quite familiar with some of the things from the former Black Spirit Empire, shouldn’t you? I’m not talking about anything secretive, but rather the more popular, common things. Things like culture, language, and customs. After all, your kingdom was inherited from the Black Spirit Empire, so they should be similar, right?”
“So what if they are?” Rose continued to be wary.
“That’s good,” Richard said, “I want to consult you on something, more accurately, a song. It’s said that this song was once a folk ballad of the Black Spirit Empire. Some people can play and sing it, but they don’t understand the meaning. I hope you can help me translate it.”
“Is that so.” Rose blinked, realizing the true nature of the situation and understanding that there should be no danger, she let down her guard a bit.
After letting down her guard, Rose raised her head with a spoilt and proud nature, glanced at Richard sideways, and said, “So you’re asking for my advice, you’re asking for my help! Since you’re asking for help and advice, shouldn’t there be a much more humble way? What are you looking at? Am I wrong?! Hmph, even if you don’t kneel down and beg me, you should at least show me a smile.”
Richard looked at Rose for a long while, raised an eyebrow as if contemplating something, then finally said, “Alright.”
Richard’s expression changed, and he said to Rose with all due seriousness, “Your Highness Princess Rose of the Black Holy Mountain Kingdom, as a fellow classmate, I now earnestly request your assistance. Can you help me?”
“No way!” Rose loudly refused, nitpicking, “Your expression isn’t sincere enough, and your tone is too harsh. Try again.”
“Huff–”
Richard took a deep breath, glanced at Rose, and changed his expression again. He slightly bent forward and repeated the request, “Your Highness Princess Rose of the Black Holy Mountain Kingdom, as a fellow classmate, I now earnestly request your assistance. Can you help me?”
“Still no way!” Rose loudly refused again, “Have you never asked for help from anyone? Is your back really that stiff? Can’t you bend it a bit more? I’ll tell you, if it were my servant, and he dared stand before me and talk like this, I would have broken his back by now. I’ll give you one more chance, now repeat it properly to me one more time. If you still can’t do it, don’t blame me for really refusing to help you!”
Hearing this, Richard’s eyebrows shot up, and he straightened his body, his gaze becoming sharp.
Rose noticed, and said, “Hey, what are you thinking of doing now! I’m telling you, this is really your last chance. If you don’t take it, don’t even think about getting me to help with what you’re asking…”
“You should understand that there are many ways to ask someone for help, right?” Richard looked at Rose expressionlessly and cut her off. After finishing his sentence, he flipped his hand and a sharp dagger appeared in it, spinning rapidly.
Rose’s eyes widened, looking at the dagger, she instinctively shrank back into a corner, “Hey, don’t… don’t mess around.”
“Whether I mess around or not is all up to you, Your Highness Princess Rose of the Black Holy Mountain Kingdom,” Richard said softly, looking at Rose, “You’re a smart person, and I think there are some things I don’t need to explain too clearly.”
Rose lowered her head as if contemplating. Then, in the next moment, she suddenly looked up and shouted loudly, “Idiot, of course I understand! In fact, you’re the one who’s been fooled! You think your dagger can scare me! Think again! I am–a–Wizard–Apprentice! Go to hell!”
“Swipe!”
Rose quickly extended her hand, five spots on her body lighting up simultaneously–the necklace around her throat, the crystal rings on both of her fingers, the bracelet on her left wrist, and the chain on her right wrist. Although Rose’s power was low, being only a Level One Wizard Apprentice, her wealth meant that the magic tools she carried were luxurious. Even if she lacked combat experience, even if her attacks were haphazard, a usual Second Level Wizard Apprentice facing her would be at a disadvantage.
However, she encountered Richard–Richard, who had killed wizards.
As Rose released her attack, several condensed balls of air flew out like hefty lead spheres, crashing around the room. The dusty wooden bed shook violently and collapsed with a “clatter”; a “crack” sounded in the wall, fissures appearing, the whole room quivering slightly as dust filled the air.
Amidst the billowing dust, Rose’s eyes widened to see Richard standing in place, unscathed, all the attacks seeming to have automatically swerved past his body.
This!
“This is impossible!” Rose exclaimed, immediately preparing to launch a second round of attacks.
But Richard didn’t give her the chance.
“The game is over,” Richard said, somewhat seriously, sliding his foot and with the aid of the “Wind Light Spirit” spell upon the No.1 Ring, he appeared directly in front of Rose, the icy blade of the dagger swiftly touching Rose’s throat.
Rose’s eyes bulged, a mixture of fear and defiance, as she said through clenched teeth, “Don’t think you can intimidate me, don’t think you can make me submit!”
“I have no intention of scaring you, nor making you submit,” Richard said slowly. “I just want you to help me solve a problem, that’s all. Cooperate a bit, it’s better for us both.”
After hearing Richard’s words, Rose’s fear seemed to vanish, and with a tilt of her head and a sneer, she said, “Hmph, I knew it, no matter what, you need my help. Well then, I’ll tell you–no way! Unless you kneel before me, slap your own face saying you were wrong, I absolutely won’t help you!”
“You’re not afraid of death!” Richard brandished the dagger in his hand.
Rose’s eyes flickered, a fleeting look of terror in her eyes, then she spoke with resignation, or perhaps a sense of self-abandonment, “Hmph, of course I’m scared, but I believe you wouldn’t dare to kill me! Because, you want my help, how can I assist you if I’m dead? So, before I help you, you definitely won’t kill me, otherwise your problem will never be solved.”
“Are you sure?” Richard looked at Rose, his eyes narrowing.
“Sure, very sure,” Rose said, biting her lip.
Richard’s eyes narrowed to slits, his dagger slowly moving downward: “Well then, I’ve got good news for you, you guessed correctly.”
Rose smiled smugly, like a little fox that had succeeded in its crafty plans.
“But there’s also bad news,” Richard said with a serious expression, “Although I can’t kill you, I can still do… other things, like…”
Richard’s dagger continued to move downward, resting on Rose’s clothing and slowly exerting force…
“Rip!”
Rose felt the fabric of her upper garment being sliced open, the cool air from outside touching her tender skin, causing certain areas to contract uncontrollably.
The slit in her clothing grew larger and larger, Rose clenched her teeth and said, “I’m not afraid!”
“Are you really not afraid?” Richard said, the dagger continuing to slide down, Rose’s clothing shifting from a round neck to a small V-neck, to a large V-neck…
More and more of her pale skin was revealed…
