He stared with wide eyes, but that woman still didn’t react at all.

The man was finally sure, this woman wasn’t looking at him at all.

A frosty chill brushed over his handsome face, forcing him to stand up. With his long legs, he took just a few strides to reach her glass window.

He tapped twice on the glass with his distinctly jointed fingers.

"Ah..." The first thing Lin Banxia did upon waking up was instinctively wipe her cheek, as if she had just dreamt of a male god drooling on her.

Huo Yanting was even more displeased when he saw her action, and after shooting her a warning glance, he resolutely stepped out of the office door.

Under the man’s intense gaze, she felt incredibly guilty, but she had indeed been thinking about him—just a past version of him.

"Look into my eyes and say it again." Huo Yanting suddenly demanded sternly.

Lin Banxia had no choice but to open her eyes wide. Her eyes, black and crystal clear, didn’t seem to be lying.

"I really was thinking about you. I didn’t expect you to be so busy with work all day long, which is not quite what I imagined you to be." Lin Banxia laughed self-deprecatingly.

Huo Yanting had long honed the ability to discern truth from lies, and at this moment, her words seemed to genuinely convince him.

"What is the version of me in your imagination like?" Unaccountably curious about the meaning of her other words.
