Leng Yan stood at the doorway, counting slowly, his throat moving with desire to rush in.

Wen Nuan took a breath.

"Two, one!" As Leng Yan was about to push the door, it suddenly opened. He leaned against the wall naturally, squinting at her like a lazy leopard admiring its captured prey.

He was trying his best to suppress his inner impulse. So beautiful! He knew when he received the clothes that she would look stunning in them, but seeing her wear them in person was more breathtakingly beautiful than just seeing the garments alone.

Even though she was fully prepared, Wen Nuan’s face still blushed uncontrollably.

Standing at the door, she wanted to step out, but Leng Yan’s body blocked her way, freely admiring her.

"Move, I can’t get out." She lowered her head and muttered softly.

"I’m not stopping you, am I?" Leng Yan smiled intentionally, pressing his body against the wall and extending his right hand in a gesture of invitation.

Wen Nuan gritted her teeth and walked forward, each step unusually cautious, careful not to reveal anything.

Leng Yan watched her, chuckling as he followed, and when she stepped into the light, he quickly moved behind her and wrapped his arms tightly around her waist.

Wen Nuan’s body shivered uncontrollably as if electrified.

He held her from behind for a moment, gently turned her to face him, lifted her chin with his slender fingers, squinted at her with a smile, and then kissed her deeply.

"Go try the clothes on." Out of breath from his kiss, Wen Nuan took a deep breath and stopped him.

She knew him too well, once he started, he wouldn’t stop until he had his fill, and it might be more than once.

She didn’t know how long he would keep her here; to prevent the inevitable, it was better to stop now.

"Nuannuan." Leng Yan’s voice was hoarse, his deep black eyes staring at her for a moment before helplessly raising an eyebrow: "Alright."

He wanted so much to devour her, but he feared he couldn’t manage the time well, perhaps staying entangled with her on this bed all night.

"I’ll go change clothes."

Wen Nuan picked up her clothes to change elsewhere. What she wore now, though enticing, wasn’t suitable to wear underneath her outfit.

"Wait." Leng Yan chuckled softly, "I’ll help you dress."

He picked up a slightly sheer black cloak and draped it over her shoulders. While she was still surprised, he had already lifted her arms.

The sleeveless sheer garment was also sent by him. It had no buttons, just a narrow silver belt cinched at the waist, slightly revealing the lingerie underneath yet hidden by the cloak’s length.

"Do you know, you look like a seductress of the night, so enchanting!"

He chuckled low, leaned down to her earlobe, and brushed his lips lightly against it. Gently gathering her un-wet hair, he revealed her smooth, slender neck, securing a hairpin encrusted with glittering, colorful jewels at her side.

Wen Nuan blushed, running into the bathroom to look at herself in the large mirror. Under his simple touch, she became even more alluring and breathtaking, her face flushing again but unwilling to change.

Indeed like a beautiful nocturnal imp, yet her charm was not vulgar but pure, igniting a more profound urge.

She turned her head to see the hairstyle he arranged for her, slightly to the left ear, loose, casual yet natural, brimming with an air of purity.

When Wen Nuan exited, Leng Yan was already dressed. Black trousers and a white shirt—the simplest yet most classic combination, which on him seemed magically proud and beautiful.

The tie Wen Nuan chose for him was silver. When she saw him hold it up, she quickly reached out and took it from his hand.

Leng Yan immediately understood and smiled, lowering his neck slightly. When she looped it, he straightened up, his gaze lowered, fixated on her face, unwilling to look away.

"What are you looking at?" Wen Nuan barely managed to return her complexion to normal, but his gaze made her blush again.
