Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong -
Chapter 1770 - Chapter 1770 Chapter 109 Lord and King
Chapter 1770: Chapter 109: Lord and King Chapter 1770: Chapter 109: Lord and King “Ten billion lords descended at the same time? I never imagined that such inconceivable events would have taken place during the time I was unconscious,” said the Old King.
After hearing Leo Ray’s brief description of the advent of the lords and related matters in the Territory, the Old King was stunned for a moment before he regained his composure.
His resolute face filled with astonishment, he muttered, “To think that an Otherworldly Lord, whose time here is limited, could contend with nobles who have been deeply entrenched in this land for centuries, is nothing short of a miraculous feat.”
“Father King, you must not underestimate him; he is far more formidable than you imagine,” said Ariel Watson.
It was as if Ariel was introducing a boyfriend to her father; her pale, delicate face was full of pride and triumph as she added, “Among the numerous Otherworldly Lords who have descended in the human various countries, he is the most respected and revered. Even to call him the King without a crown among the Otherworldly Lords wouldn’t be an exaggeration!”
“It seems Ariel has indeed met an extraordinary young man,” said the Old King with a benevolent smile, nodding at Ariel, though his mind was already racing with thoughts.
The Old King was well aware of the immense difficulty of contending with the vast Noble Coalition, powerful and established for centuries on this land, a challenge akin to ascending to the heavens.
Reputation, armies, equipment, wealth, food, and even items such as Magic Medicine and Magical Scrolls were all essential; a single misstep could plunge one into an abyss from which recovery was impossible, and the vengeful nobles would use every brutal and bloody means to utterly erase their opponents from this world.
Even he, who controlled the Coldflame Royal Family and was the King himself, had failed to decisively curtail the nobles’ interests and power, which ultimately led to an increasingly severe and uncontrollable situation.
After all, due to the weakness of previous monarchs, the Royal Family lacked the absolute strength and financial power to completely dominate any noble group and make them utterly loyal and subservient.
Yet what he himself had failed to accomplish, this young man from another world had achieved, and he had done so alongside his most beloved younger daughter.
Among his five children, Ariel was undoubtedly the one he had the highest hopes for.
Though wilful and haughty, possessing the arrogance common to all Royal Family members, she was the kindest and most pure-hearted among them.
She lacked the cruelty and defiance of the other princes, and unlike Caroline, she had no near-mad desire for battle and bloodshed; she was wholly devoted to the Kingdom and even tried to understand and empathize with Civilians’ feelings–a feat none of her brothers could accomplish.
To them, Civilians were nothing, oblivious to the common people’s feelings, even randomly killing and trampling them, not realizing that the people were the foundation and lifeblood of a Kingdom.
The Old King had often thought to himself that if he did not consider the feelings of the other princes or the nobles and other external factors, Ariel would undoubtedly be the most suitable heir to the Throne.
Although she was the youngest and lacked much experience and refinement, isn’t every precious ore transformed into steel through relentless forging?
Yet the reality was that neither the Three Princes nor their respective, enormous supporting noble forces would ever allow him to appoint Ariel Watson as the heir apparent.
But now, all those obstacles had already ceased to exist.
Ariel and this young man from another world had paved their way to the Throne through their own strength, cutting through thorns and difficulties every step of the way!
As he thought this, a sincere expression of relief and exhilaration emerged on the Old King’s resolute face.
With his excitement palpable, the Old King eagerly asked Ariel and Leo, “Quickly tell me, how exactly did you come to be where you are today?”
“Father King, it all started when I escaped multiple assassination attempts with the help of Miss. Joshua and Mr. Bert, cleverly leaving the Royal Capital, and headed to Cyan Town as an envoy…”
Ariel blinked her long eyelashes, a dreamy haze filled her clear, starry eyes as she delved back into her memories.
From her first meeting with Leo Ray in Cyan Town, to the ancestral resting ground encounters in Dragon’s Lair with Leo Ray, and then the fight at Mountain Fortress with meagre troops compellingly defeating the Holy Night Army, Ariel described everything in great detail.
Especially each time she mentioned Leo Ray, her pale and refined face was full of pride and reverence, and she even unconsciously started to get animated.
Whether it was annihilating the enemy’s vanguard in Cyan Town, the large-scale Cavalry battle on the plains, defending the Territory from White Knight, defending Cyan Town from Nightmare Knight, or the empty city strategy at Galaxy City–just the sequence of battles to conquer the Coldflame Eastern Region left the Old King dumbfounded once again.
“Father King, this is just the beginning,” she said.
Looking at the Old King’s increasingly astonished expression, Ariel Watson smiled and continued to recount Leo Ray’s great accomplishments.
Persuading the Lunar Temple Holy Maiden to retreat at a banquet, repelling the Half-Orc Army at Dragon’s Lair, quelling uprising smoke in various cities, summoning Dragon Knights at Galaxy City, and together with Wu and White Knight, crushing the Fallen Nobles Allied Army led by the Black Duke and No. 3 Black-robed man, and finally using Thunderclap means to bring the entire Northern Territory into submission and earning Caroline’s wholehearted effort.
