Chapter 966 - 966: Fruit of Despair-1
The weapon that Jayden had created casually was so powerful that it would be treated as the supreme treasure in most universes.
Then he passed the sword to Rakshasa and once again disappeared from there.
Rakshasa caught the blade and gently swung it around, almost tearing apart the space. Then he stood like a statue and just focused on the surroundings.
'The first destination is the Fruit of Despair. It should be in this direction.' Just after thinking, his body tore through the space, traveling billions upon billions of light-years of distance within seconds.

Jayden arrived in front of a vast universe. Even though this universe wasn't ranked among the top 100 in the world ranking, it was still fairly strong, and the leader of this place was someone who was close to reaching the 4th star of power level.
He passed through the barrier without any hindrance and floated inside. His speed was so fast that he passed through a large space effortlessly. From what info he had received from that old man, the Fruit of Despair should be found in this place.
Jayden passed through hundreds of planets and looked over them briefly. It seemed the ruler of this place was even worse than the emperor of the Topaz Universe. This place was like hell for most people.
Wherever he passed, the atmosphere was very depressing. Not a single planet had light anywhere—they were completely submerged into darkness, as if they had never witnessed the light of day ever and lived only in nights.
There were all kinds of people living in this universe, but all of them looked very weak and thin, as if food had become a luxury for them all that they really couldn't afford. Jayden did feel a bit bad for them, but first, he needed to finish his task. Only then would he decide if he should help these people or not.
The deeper he went into the universe, the place seemed more and more dark. The cries of people rang constantly, and deaths were extremely normal. With each passing moment, countless people were dying because of hunger, beatings, or other such treatments.
No wonder the Fruit of Despair could only be obtained from such a place. The atmosphere of the entire universe itself was so bad, and it seemed the worst kind of negative energy was emanating from the centre.
"What kind of emperor is ruling this place? Hmm… it seems he has no interest in ruling or in this universe itself, but he is using this negative energy to grow stronger." Jayden observed and soon felt that the emperor of this place had a body that absorbed all the negative emotions and then turned it all into his own energy.
Jayden directly flew towards the centre where the emperor resided. The planet at the centre itself had turned completely black. Just the energy it was emanating was enough to depress anyone and make them want to commit suicide.
Even though he was flying around casually, no one was able to notice his presence, and it was this day that the prayers of all the people in this universe had finally started to work. After this point, they would no longer have to live such a miserable life and would never lack food.
Jayden descended upon the black planet and observed the place from the sky. He frowned seeing this place—it was probably the worst place he had ever seen. Whatever could be considered worst and most cruel behaviour seemed to be taking place all over this black planet.
Killing was as normal as chatting. Whether it be women or even kids, on the entire planet, only a small area was illuminated with a brilliant golden light. There was a big castle-like house at the centre which was the residence of the emperor of this universe.
And the surrounding houses all lived a life of luxury. They lived lives of kings and didn't care about the lives of the people in the black area and even used them as slaves or playthings.
"Tsk. This place really dampened my mood. Sigh… I would have to see my little angel to remove all this negativity." While muttering, Jayden slowly began to descend.
"Yeah, what a bad place to live. Even I would rather choose death than stay at this place." A familiar and sweet voice sounded in Jayden's mind. It was none other than Anna.
Jayden wasn't surprised. He still had that connection with her, and it reminded him of the time he ran all over the places while Anna helped him with her information and instruction. Plus, it felt better to have someone to talk to at a place like this.
"Since you were lighting up all the universes and wanted to spread your happiness, then you should help them. No one should remain sad on such a happy occasion, right?" Anna said, even though she knew Jayden was already planning to do this.
He landed on the ground as his clothes changed form. He wore a robe which looked very expensive and a conical hat. Just as the people of the black zone noticed him, they all moved away in fright, since they could be killed for the serious crime of going within a distance of a man from the golden area.
Jayden looked around. It seemed to be a market street where small and broken shops were present all over. Weak and shrivelled people were walking and lying over the road and in front of their broken houses. Many people even seemed as if they were on the verge of death.
This was truly the centre of this despair-filled universe. No matter where he looked, he only saw misery and cruelty. People kept crying, but there was no one to help them. Many of these strange-looking people were even carrying small kids around, trying to find some medicine or food. It was as if some kind of plague had spread across the place—various diseases, and even the air quality was very bad.
He walked forward as all the people moved away hastily, afraid that not only they but even their families would be slaughtered. They didn't even dare to look up at him.
Walking up to a shop, Jayden sat on a stone seat in front of it. He glanced at it and saw that even the water they were selling was dirty and filled with impurities and dirt. No one would even want to look at such water which clearly belonged to the gutter, but the people here had to work for days to even afford such dirty water.
Jayden sighed again. The more he stayed there and looked around, the worse his mood kept getting. All because of one person, they were all suffering so badly. He needed this depression to become stronger, and the energy that the emperor constantly released made the whole place rotten.
Jayden grabbed at something in the empty air, and a cup filled with warm tea appeared in his hand. He took a sip and calmed himself down. Even though these people had no strength, it didn't mean their lives were meaningless or worthless, they shouldn't be sacrificed like that just for personal gains of a single person.
Looking around, he gazed at different people and read their memories.
