Chapter 2103 - 2103: Delicious Food From Earth

It was food from Earth… simple food too, nothing too fancy, but there was also what I had asked for, soda! They had coke, and also snickers, and m&ms, and more!

"Is this all for us?" I asked.

"Of course, please feel free to enjoy this humble feast we've prepared for you…" sighed the Sergeant. "Ah, it's hard to speak so cordially, forgive me…"

"It's alright, I can tell you're trying very hard, hahaha! Let's drink and have a talk, I can tell you more about this world if you tell me what has been happening since I left," I said.

"Well, gladly!" he nodded, as we started having dinner leisurely.

We spent hours talking and drinking, as I learned a lot from what has happened on Earth while we also explained many things about this world, such as its many continents, its many people, the gods, titans, dragons, the Venerables, and even about Oberon and the Demon King, Pandemonium and Chaos.

I kept the thing about Oblivion a secret, however… I wasn't sure if that would ever be something I should tell anyone, it was simply too much of a top secret to even tell anybody even this old man that I had begun to trust a little.

Eventually, as we ran out of drinks and as the Sergeant became tired, the dinner was over and we moved to our lodging… there were a lot of rooms, but they still gave us a big one for me and my entire family. The Sergeant didn't seem to mind when I told him I had three wives, he simply arranged a larger room.

"Oh, this place sure looks fancy!" Benladann said happily, sitting over the bed. "It's comfy too! So soft, what sort of fabric is this?"

"It seems that everything here is of nice, high quality," Miranda walked to the bathroom. "Oh, so many things from Earth, they got Shampoo!"

"We also have something like shampoo back home you know?" I laughed, resting over the bed while I noticed Andromeda looking outside through the window with a worried expression.

Benladra, Kate, and Drakda were bouncing over the large beds, there were four in total, and as they did, I walked towards her.

"What's wrong? You seem worried."

"Well I am… a lot has happened, these people… I pity them."

"Ah, well, I do too, but it's not like feeling like that is going to solve anything."

"I know… but still, I can't help but feel like… something worse could happen."

"You think so?"

"We have to stay alert… it feels strange, this night…"

"Why?"

"…I don't know, you haven't sensed anything strange?"

"I expanded my Aura outside but there's nothing."

"Hm… then maybe I'm just being paranoid, sorry for worrying you."

She kissed my lips and walked to bed, resting over it while yawning, covering herself with blankets and then inviting me to rest by her side.

Benladann and Miranda quickly came to sleep as well, the bed barely could hold all four of us though, so at the end I used my powers to modify it, making it slightly larger.

Unfortunately, with the kids around, doing anything beyond sleeping wasn't on the menu for tonight, and that was fine anyway.

There was a lot to do yet, but taking a small break for tonight didn't seem that bad…

Although the worries of Andromeda did make me worry too.

I quickly sent my Slimes outside, watching the surrounding deserted landscape and the skies in silence.

Was there really something out there?

Slowly, I closed my eyes, deciding to sleep and rest for now, the battles yet to come will test my abilities even more anyway.

A pair of crimson eyes twisted amidst the dark of the night, above the skies, as a black fog continued spreading everywhere, undetectable, merely the night itself given a gaseous form.

Voices whispered as this night directly connected to another, aberrant dimension, where countless screaming souls reverberated everywhere, born from her agony, pain, resentment, and despair.

Her black blood endlessly bleed from her hands and her wounds, feeding this Dimension with dark power, each drop of her blood turning into a specter of nightmares…

These living curses assembled as they rapidly and constantly ate one another, growing larger and bigger, stronger.

Eventually, they would get "fished" by Demons and then forged into a body, imbuing them with potent Curses that both ate their life and empowered them beyond the limits of their own species.

But this time was different, they were not being used as materials or ingredients to turn someone else stronger, they were being freed from their Dimension, to spread the darkness of her screams of agony everywhere.

They aimed to do one thing, to cause mayhem and consume all life and all souls, until nothing but her eternal pain and despair remained…

RUMBLE!

The Night Skies trembled, as a woman wearing purple, black, and red kimono smiled, her hair tied into a butterfly-shaped purple ornament, as her glowing red eyes could be seen amidst the black clouds.

It was nobody else but her, of course, the one that Oda Nobunaga had sent directly to chase after Drake and kill him…

Kimiko Hanna.

"Ahahaha…! Yes! This power that my lord has granted me, a permanent connection to the Dimension where the Fallen Goddess resides is truly wonderful!" she laughed. "With this, what can't I do? I'm about to rain hell upon all of you…! I will show you the true power of his majesty the Emperor and his undying Empire!"

As she laughed, the portal constantly swirled and distorted, warping space as thousands of black specters started coming out from the portal, rushing down towards the barrier that Drake had erected and beginning to attack it.

At first it was one but quickly after, hundreds, thousands, and then tens of thousands of specters from this strange, bizarre dimension started coming out, constantly smashing their claws into the barrier, while also trying to bite it.
