Vadim was determined to succeed in this operation; he had rallied all of his remaining subordinates and also mobilized military technology that had been supporting him for years. The firepower they were equipped with far surpassed that of gang members, all sourced from military supply. They now resembled a private army.

This was the scenario he had dreamt of back in District 17. Had he possessed this equipment back then, he would never have failed in the turf war.

"Remember the protocol for today’s operation."

Before they set off, Vadim delivered his final speech.

"Secret operation, Lightning raid!"

This was the slogan they had devised for the operation; when they learned that their enemies were from the Bureau of Anomalous Cases, everyone was thrilled.

Compared to the powerless journalists or private detectives they encountered in the black market, the Bureau was a worthy opponent, finally presenting them with a perfect opportunity to test their cybernetic enhancements.

"Get the optical camouflage ready; I want you to have blown open the gates of B Area by the time the agents discover you."

"Don’t worry, boss, they won’t expect us to strike at this time!"

Someone in the team remarked, "Now there’s only one last issue, how should we deal with those agents?"

"Take out everyone you encounter inside."

Vadim said in a ruthless tone, "Leave no witnesses. Now, initiate the action!"

The darkness afforded them the best cover.

Yet their every move was completely observed by Lu Xiang and Mentor Catherine at the command center.

Watching their route, Catherine exclaimed in surprise, "You were right indeed; their attack route is as if they made no plans at all!"

In summary, Vadim breached from the front, while the other squads took the opportunity to bypass and flank, then blasted a path to B Area using C4.

They hadn’t even bothered to scout the distribution of surveillance cameras and were completely unaware that they were being monitored.
