After giving first aid to one of the least injured street thugs, Lu Xiang summoned him into the interrogation room.

The thug cried out as soon as he saw Lu Xiang, "This is a misunderstanding, we actually left the gang a long time ago!"

Therefore, when the special response team arrived on site, the scene could only be described as horrific.

Yet when the crime analysis division checked, they could only come up with the possibility of a gang fight. Besides gang-on-gang violence, it was hard for them to imagine who in the 17th District would bother to target these gang remnants.

"Yes, yes, that’s the place! It was a big deal, we lost more than a dozen brothers in one go!"

The street thug nodded frantically, haunted by the bloody scene for several days.

"So you just decided to disband the gang? That doesn’t seem like your style."

To contain the spread of Cyber mental illness, the research departments of the United Government proposed an assessment for prosthetic implantation:

For ordinary citizens, the implantation degree of a combat prosthesis should not exceed 20%.

For some with special physiques and a high compatibility with prosthetics, the implantation degree could be increased to 40%-60%. Once they reached this level, they were qualified to work in some key enforcement departments.

The street thug’s pupils dilated, and a viscous liquid splattered all over him. Just a moment ago, he had clearly seen his friend’s head pop like an exploding balloon, turning into a mushy mess.

The intermediary still stood there, maintaining the gesture of helping to light the cigarette.

The gold chain on his mouth fell to the ground without support, the silver-white cross-shaped lighter was now stained with a bright red hue.
