Emperor of Solo Play

This story had some decent world-building elements but not enough weight to make you root for the main character. He got a second chance too easily that wasn't even remotely alluded to how or why he got it, and doesnt feel like he has an advantage. What i am most dissapointed in, is the revenge which he doesnt really get.  Overall it feels like a waste of time as there is no romance to invest in(which i dont like), there is no sense of progress(as the enemies are moving goal post), and does not really improve in the end but regresses in goals, as he works for the antagonist now. This story feels like a waste as it did not deserve a manga adaptation, there soo many better stories that deserve it more.
