Edge of the Apocalypse -
Chapter 578: Brother (2)
"My method has always been very simple." Reina shook his fist.
Horn's expression darkened. He shook his head and said, "Nonsense, Rainer, go back now. Don't embarrass me again!"
Reina's face turned red. He was about to argue when Ellen stood up and said, "No, Grandpa. I also want to compete with Big Brother Reina. Isn't there a saying that the quickest way for a man to improve his friendship is to fight?"
Horn looked strangely at Alan, who nodded at him. Horn shook his head and smiled, "Whatever you want, but you can't fight here."
"Of course, let's go to the arena." Reina was eager to try.
Ellen made a "please" gesture and his big brother left first. Alan walked behind him, and Adele trotted up and caught him, "Rainer is crazy, and you're going crazy with him. If only there were only your own family today, it would be fine, but there are so many outsiders here today. Doing so will lower your opinion of them!"
"It doesn't matter. What outsiders think is their business. I know what I'm doing, so I don't need them to judge me. Besides, no matter how high their status is, they are always outsiders, and Reina is my brother, just like Regis."
Adele sneered, "You once had a brother named Cordoff."
"But Lena is not Kodorf. Do you think he would be as full of bad water as Kodorf with his personality?" Ellen shrugged. "He just doesn't like me, so I'll beat him until he admits to me. These things have to be settled. It's better to settle early than to have a headache later."
Adele stopped, shook her head and sighed, "You men …"
At least half of the guests left with Reina and Alan. Most of them were young people, and Roddy was among them. He smiled. Since Horn didn't stop him, he didn't have anything to worry about.
As the crowd left the hall, Hyderick followed suit. However, he did not go to the arena with the others. Instead, he turned to another remote corridor. After leaving the hubbub in the banquet hall, Hyderick suddenly stopped and said to the air, "Alright, just stay here. Come out."
The shadow on the wall behind him twisted and a thin man walked out of the shadow. He was very cautious, his eyes rolling. Strangely, his left and right pupils seemed to be separate organs, and they actually turned in different directions. As a result, his perspective was much broader than that of ordinary people.
Hyderick smiled and said, "Chameleon, why did you come to the castle instead of staying by Old Baker's side?"
The man nicknamed Chameleon closed his eyes and focused on Hyderick. He smiled dryly and said, "Fourth Young Master, Master Baker knows that you are not having a good time. He wants to invite you to the surface for a rest."
"Oh, but how did I hear that Old Baker did something he shouldn't have done not long ago. He should be more worried about himself now, and he still has time to care about me?" Hyderick leaned against the corridor and the moonlight shone down, giving him an indescribable elegance.
The chameleon spread out his hands and said, "We, the subordinates, do not know about Master's affairs and do not dare to interfere. I am only sending a message on behalf of Master. As for what to do, it is up to you, Young Master Hyderick."
'"Alright, I understand Old Baker's intentions. Hurry up and leave. Don't tell me I didn't warn you. The Spear Demon and Blood Scorpion are both in the castle. Don't let them catch you, chameleon. Otherwise, you won't be able to go back. Be a specimen."
A drop of sweat rolled down the man's forehead and he bowed, "Thank you for reminding me. Take care, Young Master."
He retreated into the shadows of the corridor, and the outline of his body blurred bit by bit. In the end, even his aura disappeared, and his entire body was perfectly compatible with the environment. The shadow twisted slightly, like a wave of water, and the man quickly left.
Heidrick looked at the night outside the castle. "Old Baker, it looks like you can't help it anymore. Well, this is an opportunity."
His gaze drifted downwards. There was a light coming from the direction of the arena. Hyderick frowned, "That kid actually went crazy with Rena. It seems that I overestimated you before. Kid is a kid."
He smiled and turned to leave.
All the lights in the arena lit up, and a round arena was cleared out as a place for the Allen brothers to compete. Reina had already taken off his gown and was wearing only a pair of shorts with his upper body bare. Exposing his tan, muscular body to the light. He was full of masculinity, like a lion. When he appeared under the arena lights, many women let out all sorts of strange exclamations and snickers at him.
Alan also took off his coat, but kept the lining and trousers. In comparison, he seemed to be much more reserved. Alan stood on the arena with Reina. The silver hair flowed under the light, and a pair of ruby-like eyes on her handsome face left a deep impression. He was a head shorter than Rainer, and his figure was slimmer than Rainer's.
Judging from their appearances, the two of them weren't on the same level.
"Are you ready?" Reina was panting heavily, and the air coming out of his nostrils was like hot smoke.
Alan smiled indifferently, "Anytime."
"You know what? The thing I hate the most is your girly face!" Reina suddenly shouted loudly, but he didn't make any other movements. He fiercely smashed his head against Alan's forehead.
Allen was knocked back. In the exclamation of the audience, he suddenly propped up his feet after only half a step back. Sheng Sheng stopped retreating and threw his head back. The silver hair was like a whistling azure flame under the light, and before Rena could regain his senses, Alan similarly smashed his head against the bridge of his nose. Reina's eyes immediately turned hot as he clutched his nose and retreated.
"But I never told you to like me. Whether you like me or hate me, I'm right here!" Alan gestured "come back". His forehead was already swollen and blood oozed out. It was clear that Reina hadn't let out any water from the collision just now.
Reina let go of his hand, which was covering his nose, leaving behind two bloody lines under his nostrils. Reina wiped his hand and roared, striding towards Alan. Alan lowered his center of gravity, took a deep breath, and similarly rushed forward to welcome him. The two of them collided heavily in the middle. The muffled sound of the collision caused the hearts of the crowd to beat wildly. The entire arena was shaken by the collision.
The distant Roddy opened his mouth and rubbed his head for a long time before saying, "Lanny is not bad. You have to fight like this to be a man!"
Around the arena, the audience cried out in alarm. The fight between the two people on the stage was completely out of order. Both of them were punches from you and one kick from me. It was as if they were gangsters fighting on the streets. He poured enough Origin Energy into every punch and kick, and then punched his flesh. This caused a series of muffled noises, causing the spectators to feel excited. On the arena, Rena bent his arm and slammed his elbow into Allen's face, causing his head to shake. He took a deep breath and scolded, "But why does Grandpa like you so much when he jumped out halfway?"
"If you want to know, just ask Grandpa!" Alan suddenly pounced back and punched Rena in the abdomen. It smashed him into the shape of a shrimp and left him speechless for a while. Alan took the opportunity to sweep his legs and put Rena down. Then he rolled over and sat on him, his fists raining down like rain, "I just don't understand why you don't like me." How could a young master like you, who grew up in Babylon, understand the difficulties of life on the surface? How did you know that after I was five years old, I would have to fight for food every day. And you, you don't have to cook anything, you'll have food. Do you know how lucky you are, but even so, you still can't get along with me. "Why?"
Rena bent his hands to protect his head and face, suffering from Allen's machine gun-like rain of fists. He gritted his teeth and fiercely ignored Alan's fist, stretching out his hands to grab Alan's neck. Allen's breathing became rapid, and he could no longer swing his fists out. '"Because of your face! If it weren't for Aunt Polanyi's face, would grandpa have looked at you more? You're just pleasing by your pretty face, that's what I hate the most about you!" Raynor stood up with Ellen in his arms and gritted his teeth, "It's because of your face!" "If it wasn't for Aunt Polanyi's face, would grandpa have looked at you more?"
Alan tightened his grip on Raynor's wrist and shrank back, his feet pressing down on his chest. He immediately kicked Rena back and couldn't catch him. Alan landed on the ground and pounced back. Reina saw where he was coming from and threw out a punch. Alan tilted his head, causing his fist to fail. At the same time, he grabbed both of his hands and wrapped them around Reina's arm. He swung upwards, crossed his legs around Rena's neck and waist, and immediately threw Rena to the ground. He pressed all his weight on Rena's arm, making the tall and majestic youth unable to get up for a moment.
"All my accomplishments, I used my own blood and life to fight back! I don't need you to admit it, Reina. I don't even need grandpa to admit it. All I need to know is that this is my hard work! And you, you're so childish. Didn't you hate me so much just because I won Grandpa's attention more than you did? I went to the Outer Realm for myself and my family. What about you? "You just want grandpa to praise you!" Shouted Allen. "Be mature, Rainer. We are no longer children, and even if you do not want to admit it, you will not be able to erase the fact that I am bleeding from Beth Cod! "
Raynor let out a lion-like roar as he rolled around, smashing Alan heavily onto the ground and bouncing him away. "Then I'll steam all your blood dry!" Rainer cried out, his eyes reddened as he panted heavily as he climbed to his feet.
A dark red aura rose, and the Origin Energy within Rena's body surged and rumbled. The volcanic aura instantly became incomparably dense. Even Rena's skin was gradually dyed dark red. He was now like a volcano that was about to erupt!
