Everyone gathered at the buffet restaurant downstairs, and they all looked at Zhou Xueyin and Wei Jingzhu, who arrived together, with smiling, scrutinizing eyes.

"Oh right! You two didn’t join the card game yesterday so you don’t know!" Li Jiniang’s gossiping soul flared up again.

"Right! What exactly happened with you guys yesterday?" Zhou Xueyin looked at the six people with a clueless expression.

It turned out that after having hotpot last night, Zhou Xueyin dragged Wei Jingzhu off to the beach and the other six people went back to the hotel to play poker.

They started playing with the rule of finding the black Ace, the one who had it would be punished if they lost, while the winner could initiate a round of King’s Game.

As it happened, since the cards belonged to Yang Ye, he was almost always the black Ace, at times lucky to win, but sometimes not so fortunate.

After losing at the end, he accepted Li Jiniang’s punishment of telling the truth and confessed to Kang Siyin.

Kang Siyin had actually always liked Yang Ye, just too reserved to be as forthright as Li Jiniang. She thought she had hidden her feelings well, but every time she video-called with Yang Ye, she couldn’t help but smile uncontrollably.

Li Jiniang had noticed this long ago and took the opportunity to set the two up during last night’s group game.

"Dang... to miss out on such an exciting event, what a loss!" Zhou Xueyin, munching on her food, listened to Li Jiniang’s vivid description and couldn’t help but regret not being part of it.

Everyone agreed with the suggestion, so after tidying up their plates, they went upstairs to get ready.

As they exited the subway, the girls were lured by the dazzling array of goods and began a shopping frenzy, no longer comparing prices with those on the Mainland, and they just bought anything at a fair price.

Soon, every one of them was laden with big and small bags, fully experiencing the thrill of a shopping spree.

After shopping, they arrived at the Avenue of Stars, where Zhou Xueyin excitedly searched for and took photos with the handprints of stars she recognized.

They had planned to take pictures of the sunset at Victoria Harbour, but the weather was not cooperating, as a slight drizzle began, which is quite common in Hong Kong.

For dinner, they found a fast-food restaurant in the shopping district to settle their hunger.

Once home, they were so exhausted that they didn’t want to move. Thankfully, there was a bathtub to enjoy a comfortable soak.

The next day, they took a Peak Tram with an incline exceeding 45 degrees. At the peak, they visited a wax museum so lifelike that Zhou Xueyin was reminded of the horror movie ’House of Wax’ she’d seen before.

Later, they went to Ocean Park to see the annual jellyfish exhibition, where jellyfish in various colors shone like cute ocean spirits under different lights.

They each bought a plush toy of the adorable jellyfish.

The regret was that they missed the dolphin show because the timing didn’t match...

At Guo Yu and Yao Shanshan’s suggestion, brimming with enthusiasm for anime collectibles, the group headed to Xinhe Tower. If it weren’t for the limited luggage space, these two could have easily cleared the place out.

The last stop of their Hong Kong trip was, of course, Disneyland! They moved from their sea-view rooms to stay at the Disney Hotel.

The three girls dressed up beautifully and interacted with the well-known Disney characters, taking photos.

They watched one dazzling performance after another and joined the crowds on various attractions.

Unfortunately, the castle was closed, thwarting Li Ranxu’s plan to propose inside it...

In October’s nighttime parade, they caught the Halloween special with a spectacularly grand Jack-o’-lantern float. This was Zhou Xueyin’s favorite character; she was so excited that she started jumping up and down, holding onto Wei Jingzhu, and she couldn’t remember what the following floats were.

The fireworks display was even more breathtaking. Each animation theme had its unique colors, with fireworks blooming in the sky like shooting stars streaking across the heavens.

However, their phones were flooded with photos that made them all laugh uncontrollably.

"Li Jiniang! Marry me!" Li Ranxu couldn’t wait any longer, pulling out the long-prepared diamond ring and proposing during the fireworks display, which was romantic in its way.

Wei Jingzhu hurriedly grabbed the camera and captured the entire proposal.
